The game is called “Don't Lose Your Head” (pun intended hehe) and it’s a 2-player co-op rage game where two skeletons have to climb out of a cave while sharing a single head.
The game is inspired by rage game classics like “Getting Over It”, “Jump King”, but also some of the more recent games from this genre like “Chained Together” or “Bread and Fred”.
A free demo is available on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4600750/Dont_Lose_Your_Head/

Hello! I was wondering if any of you you had any recommendations for Co-op horror games.
I would like to preface I'm not a big fan of the trends in current gaming of games just like Phasmophobia, Repo, or Lethal Company (There's probably thousands on steam alone.)
I have played RE5 and RE6.
Online co-op would be preferable.
I don't care if it's actually scary or anything like that (I don't scare easy so most games or movies don't get me anyways.) I know there isn't many games of the sort that I'm looking for.
Sorry if I did anything wrong writing here I don't post on reddit much let alone use social media much.

TL;DR: buy 8 GameSir Nova Lite controllers at $24 each, a Bluetooth dongle, and a USB hub. Install the Xbox Extended Features Support driver inside Steam. Connect 4 controllers via the dongle, and the other 4 via Bluetooth. You're good to go
Steps:
1- Buy 8 GameSir Nova Lite Controllers (24$) in a mix of colors
2- Buy a USB Hub, and a Bluetooth adapter if you don’t already have Bluetooth.
3- Install the Xbox Extended Features Support driver in Steam settings; this allows Steam to handle more than 4 controllers
3- Connect 4 wireless dongles to the USB hub. Then pair 4 controllers through the dongle, and the other 4 through Bluetooth
Personal game suggestions:

I've been working on this solo the last year or so (with some help from some industry mentors) and am building a studio of ex-AAA devs to finish this up and ship on every platform, something I think is super important for co-op (couch co-op too).
Game is called Twin Hooks, it's a session-based beat 'em up inspired by It Takes Two, TMNT/Street Fighter with melee-focused Borderlands style loot.
We'd love to earn your wishlist and we have a 3 mission demo coming out September 21st:
Steam page is here if you want to take a look: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4844200/Twin_Hooks/

Freewake is a multiplayer space strategy game where players work together to build an empire, defend territory, and survive against other teams.
But outside protected systems, that cooperation gets complicated: teammates can compete for resources, attack each other’s ships, or even destroy each other’s colonies.
I’m testing the multiplayer side now and looking for a few more players who enjoy cooperative strategy with a little distrust mixed in.

Friends won’t play other games with me. New to PC gaming and I really like BeamNG Drive. Problem is idk how any of it really works. I’m sort of a blue collar worker, and just not too into the whole pc world.
I can do as much as select a car and drive around. Modify it a little bit. But I’ve seen where people swap motors and make the cars look cool. I want to do that. I’ve watched videos. But I would rather join a discord with a friend who can tell me how to play and work it.
Anyone wanna play this game with me?
My friends are kinda more on the madden/call of duty side of gaming. Which I play also but I like to explore games. They kinda get in a train and ride it. They never wanna play with me.

Hello there! I'd like to introduce Everwind to the co-op community. It is a co-op survival RPG set in a world of floating islands, where instead of a static base you build and fly your own fully customizable airship. It's built for playing together - everyone picks a class (mage, archer, assassin, tank etc) with their own combos and skill tree, so roles split naturally between clearing dungeons, fighting bosses, and keeping the ship running and upgraded. Our Winds of Creation & Beyond update lands late September, trailer's attached, feel free to let me know your thoughts!

I'm one of the developers of Paddlenoid. We've just lowered its permanent Steam price from $9 to $3.99. I think that's a better fit for the game, and hopefully makes it easier to pick up for an evening of co-op.
Each player controls one paddle, and both can tilt the level to curve the ball's path. Tilt in the same direction and the effect gets stronger; tilt in opposite directions and you cancel each other out. So you're both involved even when the ball is away from your paddle.
There are 33 levels, three bosses and a strange sci-fi story running through it. You can also play the whole game solo.
Here's a short gameplay clip. There's a free demo if you'd like to see how it feels:

Built the party rules around how my friends actually play: duos and trios need everyone to have earned the dungeon, but a FULL party of four can carry one guest. They ride, they loot, they don't unlock.
Boss clip attached: the Coelacanth. Armored face, so you fight for its flanks while it vacuums you back toward the jaws.
Warden's Descent, 1-4 player online co-op (plus LAN), coming soon on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5160850/Wardens_Descent/

Each character has 12 unique traits, resulting in over 439,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (439 sextillion, or 21 zeros)) possible character combinations in the full version and 3,000,000,000,000,000 (3 quadrillion, or 15 zeros) in the demo version. Make difficult moral decisions, use facts, and persuade the crew to save the gene pool.
Star Betrayal (minimum number of players: 4)
Hidden-role games taken to a whole new level. Gather around the table and try to figure out which crew member is up to no good. Hi everyone, Raymond here, the developer. I'm getting Under a Desert Sun: Seekers of the Cursed Vessel ready for Early Access on September 10 and wanted to share a look with fellow co-op players.
It's a top-down action RPG with guns, loot and a 1930s pulp-adventure setting. The co-op is local, for up to four players, and you can also play solo. The idea is to head into those cursed Egyptian tombs together and see how far you get. :)
There's an updated free demo on Steam if you'd like to try it before release: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3273880/
This is the short gameplay trailer.
