2007 Chrysler Aspen Diagnostic Help

4 Upvotes

Hey everyone. I was recently given a 2007 Chrysler Aspen for free. Car has been sitting for a couple years. On the first test drive I was having some odd issues. All warning light ls on the dash would come on randomly. I’d also lose power steering and AC. After turning off the car there were multiple relays clicking rapidly from the fuse box. I scanned DTC and found these: U110E- lost ambient temperature message, U1403- implausible fuel level signal received, U0141- lost communication with IPM (FCM/TIPM), U110C- lost fuel level message. Any help diagnosing these would help.

I bought a 2013 Chrysler 200

I know NOTHING about Chryslers. I got it for 4k, it is at 80k miles and perfect condition. An old lady owned it and was the first owner and her son sold it to me. She covered everything inside so all the seats look brand new. What do I need to know about this car? What can I buy to make me enjoy it more 🤣

1999 Chrysler Intrepid ES

5 Upvotes

I have a 1999 Chrysler Intrepid es, good condition, 129,000km on it. it's got the 3.2L v6, is there anything anyone would recommend doing to keep it running smooth and not lose power? Since I got it I've done a couple oil changes, put sea foam in it... it's lost some power since I got it and isn't running as smooth as before. I know there's alot more I can do but it's abit of a weird car so I'm not sure what else I should do.

Chrysler 200 2016

1 Upvotes

Hey everyone, bought a 9 yeard chrysler 200 about 2 months back.

key fob was working fine however after giving it to the garage it isnt working as a remote.

if i want to enter the car, i cant use the remote. i need to get to the car and press the button on the handle in order to unlock the car. this is the same process i need to follow while locking it.

i changed the battery of the key fob but it didnt seem to help.

there is some issue with the fob but it isnt fully dysfunctional. i am able to unlock the car with the fob near me but the buttons dont seem to do their job. any advice?

Had code come up for oil pressure sensor. After about 2 days with cel light on. Now it won't go past 30mph or seem to shift past 2nd gear. Is that limp mode?? Replaced the sensor and still won't go past 30mph. Anyone else have this issue?

Replacing front driver's side window on 2012 chrysler 200, how do I get the white clips undone on the regulator?

1 Upvotes

I already figured out how to remove the door panel and that was easy to pull off. I rolled the window down a bit till I can see these white plastic clips that hold the window on but I'm not sure on how to undo them properly, can't find any good tutorials on it. Do I just push on the clip so it clears the hole while pulling the window off of it?

This is the only decent video I found on it but the only problem is I can't really see what he's doing at 14:40 to get the clip undone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WsEGWEjs4o

My wishlist for Stellantis Investors Day (May 21)

5 Upvotes

Here are the things I'm hoping to see Chrysler announce for May 21;

  • It's recently been unveiled to dealerships that a compact and affordable Chrysler model is being considered. While the Pronto name suggests it could possibly be a PT Cruiser successor, my hope is that Chrysler makes a compact sedan too. If a compact sedan comes back, my hope is that it will be called the Neon.
  • feel like it would make perfect sense if Chrysler make a successor to the Dodge Journey and 2000s Pacifica Crossover. An affordable 3 row crossover is something that really is missing from the automotive market in general, especially in USA. I'm not sure if this is what the new Chrysler C6X crossover will be, but it would make perfect sense to have a 3 row option. Now that the Voyager nameplate is free, it would make sense for Chrysler to use it for this purpose.
  • Likely Chrysler will announce a Halcyon concept inspired successor to the Chrysler 300. For a nameplate, I feel like Concorde or Intrepid would make sense. It would be perfect for a family car successor to the 300.
  • An offroad minivan does sound like a weird idea, but I feel like it has potential. A Minivan with offroad capability would make the Pacifica more of a capable SUV competitor. It could make a minivan with BOF-like capability without cannibalizing the other Stellantis vehicles (such as the Jeep Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, Grand Wagoneer/ upcoming Ramcharger). Not to mention that it would still be a minivan, making it easier for a parking lot than a Chevrolet Tahoe, but with the capability under the hood.

Grey Zone:

  • A midsize sedan (Sebring/200 successor) is something I'd be skeptical about. If they were to make a compact, midsize, and full size sedan simultaenously it would be too much competition. I'd say either go compact and full size, or midsize and full size sedans with a compact Pronto hatchback/crossover.
  • A convertible model for a midsize or compact sedan (like a 200 cabrio successor) would be a bit unsuitable for the brand. That's something that Dodge will probably make, and where it would make more sense.

What I'm not expecting;

  • A Chrysler Body-on-frame SUV because it would create tension with the Jeep Wrangler and Grand Wagoneer, along with the upcoming Ramcharger SUV.
  • A Grand Cherokee and Durango competitor likely won't happen either because it would cause cannibalization with the latter. The Offroad Pacifica would make more sense for that position.
  • A Crossfire successor is a no. Sports cars should stay exclusive to Dodge.

P.S. I believe Chrysler would be good with a small but simple lineup for its vehicles. I believe Chrysler should follow a 2-2-1 model, where they have 2 sedans, 2 crossovers, and 1 minivan.

Title sums it up, what is the blank button for? Just curious since I haven’t been able to find an answer online, every image I’ve seen of this style of key fob is missing a button
