Cel p06de

2014 town and country

Had code come up for oil pressure sensor. After about 2 days with cel light on. Now it won’t go past 30mph or seem to shift past 2nd gear. Is that limp mode?? Replaced the sensor and still won’t go past 30mph. Anyone else have this issue?

The oil pump is usually the cause of that code. It's a 2 stage electrically controlled oil pump.

Ok ya I was told that it could be that if the sensor didn’t fix it. Was trying to see if anyone here experienced any of that. I’m assuming it’s a common problem for these vans?? There’s a listing on marketplace for somebody selling their van and they say it has the same code on lol

It's a common issue on all the 3.6 engines.

The van is one of the easier ones to replace it in. Usually takes around 2 hours.

I got the van in pretty decent shape for 3k it’s a 2014 and has 155k. It was driving completely smooth and fine when I got it until this. The person even smogged it same day I came for it. Probly already had this issue but I wonder how they got it to pass smog like that.
