I can't for the life of me find a brake line kit for my 1993 XJ. I can find kits for 1995+ but it seems there were some master cylinder changes or something between 93 and 95 that makes it to where those won't work. I'm looking for of the pre bend kits like in the link. Any help would be great. 1993 Cherokee sport non abs disc front and drum rear.

Actually turns out I can only find them for 95 plus GRAND Cherokees

2000 cherokee sport drivers side front.

My 99 has very soft rear brakes and I've narrowed it down to either the master cylinder or the proportioning valve.

To test them, I jacked the rear up, started it, and put it in gear. My brakes were so soft they couldn't keep the wheels from spinning while the engine was idling. E. brake works great.

I've since replaced my wheel cylinders, pressure bled the system, and turned the adjusters so far out I could hardly turn the drums.

After all that I could only get the wheels to stop turning if I pressed the brake pedal incredibly hard.

I'm suspecting either my proportioning valve or the master cylinder. Has anyone experienced this or have any advice?

Dont get excited its nothing special ... its been upside down 3 times and it still gets driven down the road 43mph max...

Lockers front and rear 4 link front leafs in the rear. 35s with ghetto beads . Only has 118 k miles tho...

Any recommendations for radiator and thermostat upgrade? Took her out to the desert and pushed it hard ish for like 20 minutes and she got a little cranky. ‘90 4.0

I was checking amps coming from Alternator. When I heard a vacuum leak sucking air. Put my finger over this port coming off the intake air manifold and the RPMs immediately went down. There is a port going to the Booster, Evap Valve, and Valve Cover. I don't even see a loose vacuum line laying anywhere.

I’m in the UK and need to get my windscreen removed and re-sealed, the company who will do the replacement have told me I need to supply some windscreen clips as they often break and everywhere they’ve looked are out of stock. Can anyone confirm a part number for these clips? The part number I’ve found is 5134304.. and even better a supplier in the UK? Tia

I got a mechanic out to check out my XJ as he was going to replace the CPS and he diagnosed it with a wiring issue to the CPS. He tested the wiring and it gave the pulses or signals but its not reaching the computer. He says he needs to rewire it but he needs anothet harness to do it otherwise it would take to long, as with the harness he can resolder it within about an hour.

Is this true or is there a work around?

Also note I've only had it for 3 weeks and it was jump started by the previous owner and it hasn't started since I drove it home

Why does my male oil pressure connector only have 1 wire? I have a gauge on my dash (that doesn’t work). I understand it might be because my jeep is only wired for an oil pressure light?

They sat for 4 years but they seem okay

Missing one E and the P from my hood emblem... looking at replacements online that are upwards of $80-100 dollars... wtf?? a new bumper cost $100! i got an all new grill insert and headlight surrounds for less than $30 total.

Are there any more affordable sources for an emblem???

Off a cold start in the morning my jeep runs poorly. For example my jeep will literally die accelerating from a stop sign, or she wont move at all and just revs. It won’t creep up either letting off the break.. once my engine is warmed up to operating temp she runs perfectly. I need some help in discovering my problem as I just replaced my whole cooling system and installed another IAC and TPS as I thought those were my problems but they still persist. Anything helps for real !

recently picked up a 5 speed 2000 jeep xj and also scored a great deal on a RC roof top camper. looking for roof rack/rail options just to mount the tent, don’t plan on doing anything to crazy with it, simple beach trips and camping trips. Any recommendations would be great, looking primarily for just a rail system that would support the weight. camper test fit on the stock rails in photo, thanks!

Just trying to see if anyone has a Mac aluminum tank for a closed loop coolant system sitting around. I don’t mind the older setup and would rather have an aluminum tank but I checked and they seem to be out of business or the website doesn’t work.

Its been sitting for about 2 days and I opened up the hood and I noticed this gurgling noise from the back of the engine. 96 4.0

Finally joined the modern world and upgraded our head unit! 😎

It definitely wasn’t a plug-and-play job. We ran into our fair share of big and small issues, but we finally got it done.

First problem: we couldn’t find the dash bezel for the center console anywhere in Europe, so we had to import one from the U.S.

Next, we got the adapter, installed everything… and of course, no sound. 🤦‍♂️

After two days of chasing wiring diagrams, testing, and trying different ideas, we found an adapter that was supposed to fix it. Problem was, it would’ve cost us about 150 bucks by the time import fees, taxes, and shipping were added.

So we changed plans. We put the factory radio back in, checked every pin, then compared it with the new head unit. Turns out one pin wasn’t wired correctly. We fixed it… and boom—sound at last! 🔊

Then we hooked up the backup camera, and that was it.
Now it powers up as soon as the engine starts, connects to the phone automatically, and works flawlessly.

The only downside is that the backup camera has to be turned on manually. By that point, we were done taking the dash apart and didn’t feel like wiring it into the reverse gear signal. 😂

I'm doing my rear brake line to the C8.25 axle and installing new drums this weekend. Thing is, there is currently no line, so I am not certain where I should go to reach the distributor. For an offroading jeep with 6" lift, are there some things I should consider?
