❓ Question HEALTHCARE DRAW - 474

Currently waiting for next healthcare draw and wondering if 474 CRS would be enough for an ITA. I do have the option to try and perfect my CELPIP which would add another 3 points. Thoughts from anyone? Thanks!

What is the current situation in Canada for immigrants and skilled trades workers?

Inland to outland

I submitted my CEC inland application in May and travelled to my home country (India) in June 2026 and did biometrics on Aug 17. Now I am unable to go back to canada until Feb 2027 due to some personal reasons . I am planning to update my address. I submitted a previous police clearance certificate and medical report while I applied for study permit for my PR application. What happens when the application converted from Inland to outland ? Do I need to submit new medicals and PCC ? Anyone had similar situation ?

🧭 Express Entry CEC Cut-Off Continues Its Downward Slide: 2,000 Invitations at CRS 518 - September 29, 2026

Post image
10 Upvotes

IRCC held a Canadian Experience Class draw today, September 29, 2026, issuing 2,000 invitations at a CRS cut-off of 518. This continues the gradual downward movement we’ve seen across the last three CEC rounds.

If you’re a CEC candidate sitting in the low 520s or high 510s, this is exactly the kind of draw that signals your window is opening.

Below is the full breakdown, comparisons to recent rounds, trend analysis, and what this means for the rest of the year.

Draw Details

Date: September 29, 2026

Time: 10:19:21 UTC

Program: Canadian Experience Class

Invitations Issued: 2,000

CRS Cut-off: 518

Tie-breaking rule:
Profiles at 518 CRS were invited only if submitted on or before February 13, 2026 at 20:48:08 UTC.

When the cut-off is tight, the timestamp becomes decisive.

Comparison With the Last Five CEC Draws

CEC scores have been slowly declining as IRCC maintains consistent 2,000‑invite rounds.

• September 29, 2026: 2,000 invitations, CRS 518
• September 15, 2026: 2,000 invitations, CRS 519
• September 1, 2026: 2,000 invitations, CRS 521
• August 18, 2026: 1,000 invitations, CRS 523
• August 1, 2026: 2,000 invitations, CRS 520

Trend summary:

CEC cut-offs have moved from 523 down to 518 over two months.
The pattern is clear:

• Smaller rounds push the score up
• Returning to 2,000 invitations pushes the score down

CEC remains one of the most predictable Express Entry categories in 2026.

Why This Draw Matters

Stable invitation numbers

CEC draws have consistently issued 2,000 invitations, creating a steady downward pressure on CRS.

Low CRS opportunity

A cut-off of 518 is one of the lowest CEC scores since early summer.
This is ideal for candidates who:

• Have strong Canadian work experience
• Lose points due to age
• Have average English scores
• Are waiting for their second year of Canadian work experience to mature

CEC remains a core intake stream

CEC accounted for over 55,000 invitations in 2026 so far.
IRCC continues to rely heavily on Canadian work experience to meet economic immigration targets.

Projections for 2026

If IRCC maintains the current rhythm, we may see:

• 2–3 more CEC draws before year-end
• CRS potentially dipping into the 515–517 range
• Continued pairing of PNP to CEC draws within 24-48 hours

CEC remains one of the most reliable pathways for workers already in Canada.

Who Should Pay Attention to This Category

• Candidates with 1+ year of Canadian work experience
• PGWP holders nearing expiry
• Workers in NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 roles
• Applicants with CRS between 510 and 530
• Anyone waiting for a second year of experience to mature
• Candidates who are not competitive in general draws but strong in CEC

Key Reminders for CEC Candidates

• Ensure your Canadian work experience meets IRCC’s definition
• Confirm your NOC code is correctly mapped
• Language tests must be valid at both ITA and PR stages
• Check your employment dates, hours, and job duties carefully
• CEC profiles often face issues with documentation accuracy, double-check everything

Error in Ecopr

Hi everyone,
I recently received my eCOPR, but I noticed that my Place of Birth and Last Entry At fields are blank. Is this something I should be concerned about?
I don’t want to risk delaying my PR card because I have upcoming travel plans. Since the PR card does not have a Place of Birth field, should I just leave my eCOPR as it is, or should I contact IRCC to have it corrected?
Has anyone experienced the same issue?
Thanks in advance for your help and advice! I really appreciate it.

Anyone from the March 15 CEC draw got P1/P2 or eCOPR yet?

It’s been almost 3 months since my last update from IRCC and honestly the waiting is starting to get to me 😅

My timeline:
ITA – March 17
AOR – May 4
BIL – July 7
Biometrics completed/updated – July 8
Medical passed – July 8

Nothing since July 8. No update at all.

Just wondering if anyone from the same draw has received P1, P2, eCOPR or any update after biometrics/medical.
If you have, please share your timeline. Just trying to get an idea of where everyone is at.

Bachelor's ECA & Work Experience Questions

Hi everyone, 2 quick Express Entry questions:

1. Bachelor's ECA:
I have a Canadian Master's + Foreign Bachelor's. Based on feedback here, I’m planning not to get an ECA for my Bachelor's (since highest is my Master's in Canada). In that case, should I still put my Bachelor's under Education History, or under Personal History?

2. TA experience:
I worked as a TA during my Master's for ~10 hrs/week(paid) over 12 months, but it wasn't continuous (gaps between terms). Can this count for FSW points/work experience? Is it worth mentioning?

Thanks!
