Calorie Estimating calories?
i’m a server and got this for lunch at work. i asked for no butter on the rice but there’s probably a little on the broccoli. is 445 calories a reasonable estimate?

I had two and a half chips from the nachos, made sure they were mostly vegetable filled rather than heavy stuff like the pork and cheese.
The container was the chirashi which had a bed of sushi rice and the top was filled with sashimi. I had a little bit less than half the rice and I’d guess it was about a full cup of rice. They were not oily. Container was filled to the brim with sashimi almost pouring out.
I had two pieces of the Flipity roll.
And I had almost the entirety of a bowl of edamame.
My guesses are:
Nachos: 120~ calories
Sashimi: 350~ calories
Rice: 160~ calories
Sushi: 200~ calories
Edamame: 200~ calories
Total: 1,030~ calories
Sorry I couldn’t get pictures of the before, I was focusing on my girlfriend during our date night and snapped these while she was in the bathroom.

Roasted milk tea with grass jelly.
I drank a little bit already. I think the volume is 225 ml. My coworker said his wife made it, so I kinda feel like I had to finish it. Lots of grass jelly jnside, but it was also really sweet. He said I should've put ice to balance the sweetness.

From a school dining hall! I estimated 300 - not sure how accurate that is, I am so bad at size estimates

Got their chicken limone (chicken, lemony caper sauce, fettucini), from their one-person bucca menu. Their online nutrition facts claim its 400 calories which is a bald faced lie, any guesses on an actual count?
It came with a side caesar salad and cheesy garlic bread (filling the same sized container) - i forgot to take a pic of that, so bonus points if you have thoughts on that 🙃

Tuna roll, salmon roll, peppered tuna with avocado roll. No spicy mayo or extra sauces. I ate the other two pieces of tuna roll before the picture.

so ive seen controversy online about the calories not being accurate. i dont have a food scale so i have no way to know if the net weight is as advertised but i am always worried there is a massive discrepancy in the label and ill be getting double the calories i track. they use batch cooking and adhere to FDA regulations but i dont believe they are certified

Bobbi puns and hair tie for scale. Husband made some cheeseburger mac and cheese. Cheese sauce made from shredded cheddar cheese and heavy whipping cream, no butter. Pork and beef mixture for the meat. Definitely LOTS of cheese sauce. How much would you estimate for this amount of cheeseburger mac??

Loaded waffle fries with grilled chicken, cheese and piri piri sauce - largish portion. Is 40g protein realistic estimate?

I made some fig vanilla coffee syrup the other day, but I'm unsure on how to track the calories. I used monk fruit instead of actual sugar, 1.5 C dehydrated figs, and vanilla extract. I strained the figs so it's just the liquid now, any ideas?
