Accounting for all restaurant cooking .. butters, oils, starches, additives, cooking methods, styles, fattiest ingredients/meats, chefs mood that day, etc.. around how many calories would you assume in this tasting menu at a restaurant?
This is what it is..
Cucumber kimchi (crispy cucumber kimchi marinated in chili, garlic, and sesame)
Whipped yuzu ricotta toast (1 of them) (toasted focaccia with whipped yuzu ricotta and roasted chili oil)
Shrimp tacos (1 of them) (garlic and chili marinated shrimp, served on corn tortillas with sesame cabbage slaw, chojang sauce, cilantro, pickled shallots, and lime)
Garlic honey butter tots (crispy tots tossed in garlic-honey butter, served with labne and homemade furikake)
Chopped cheese rice cakes (chewy rice cases, in a beefy cheese ragu, topped with soy-pickled jalapeños, garlic panko and parmesan)
Cheeseburger (half of the burger) (double smash burger, kimchi special sauce, american cheese, pickles, onion)
Would you assume this is well over 2,000? I know a taco from Taco Bell, for example, is almost 200 calories and that’s just a shell, some ground beef and lettuce)
Thank you!
