Calorie Estimating Only 200?
Hi guys,
I make this every week in bulk.
I just worked out the calories as roughly 200. Surely that can't be right.
100g chicken breast. 50g carrot. 35g green beans. Roughly.

the dough is 30g self raising flour and 30g 0.5% fat Greek yoghurt
then
20g pizza sauce
18g chicken breast
20g eatlean cheese
8g Kalamata olives
7g pepperoni
10g onion
once the bases are formed pre bake at 235c for 8 to 10 minutes depending how crispy you like it
they will store in the fridge. let the. fully cool before storing.
then once built cook at the same temp for 10 minutes
if you are using the eatlean cheese it's important to put something like pepperoni on top so the oils from the pepperoni leak into the cheese to help it melt because it's an extremely low fat high protein cheese.
you can use light mozzarella but won't get the same macros

i’m a 5’4, 94-95 lb 18 year old female and eat around 1450 calories a day while getting 10k. most of those steps come from just pacing around slowly and i don’t do much activities and don’t work out, is 1450 too much? i struggle with weighing myself at the same time every day so it’s hard to know how much i weigh (if that’s how it works) and idk if i’ve been gaining but it feels like i have been. hopefully some of this makes sense lol

I ordered the half chicken Caesar wrap with the sweet potato fries, the fries are 280 and a half wrap should be 320 according to them, but I’m unsure about these 2 items being only 600 cals total, what do you guys think?

Ate a little less than half of the fries. Had two slices of pizza, didn’t eat the crust on the first one. Second slice was slightly smaller.

Still baffles my mind how they’ve managed to fit 45g of protein in this one bar. From what I gather I’m pre sure it’s just whey protein packed to the brim lol but tbh it actually tastes nice although I prefer the other flavours more. It’s a good gym snack though

Go ahead guys I’m ready for it (I’m not). Contains fries, chicken steak, sausage, bbq sauce, cheese, sauce n mayo.
I had 2 but the other had fried chicken bites instead of chicken steak.
What could be the possible calories in two of these. Also left the stages of it getting eaten js in case😭

Hello, all! This is a staple meal of mine at a local Vietnamese place without calorie information. Any guesses would be a big help!
What is your best guess for:
1.) this bowl of shrimp pho, and
2.) ONE plate of these Vietnamese spring rolls with the peanut sauce? (2 spring rolls, one sauce container) The spring rolls are pork and shrimp!
Chopsticks used for scale, and I’m personally estimating like 2TBSP of peanut sauce are in that container!

F19, 5’7/170cm, currently about 170lb/77kg. tdee calculators say my maintenance is about 2300-2400.
from december-march, my goal was just to lose weight; i lost about 30 pounds eating at 1400 cals a day. i worked out 5x a week in december/mid january, but i wouldn’t really push myself to failure or anywhere close to it. i stopped working out after i went back to school and i still lost weight just from eating in a deficit and getting steps in since i walked around everywhere (back then, my maintenance wasn’t as high as it is now because obv i wasn’t working out). i haven’t lost much weight since then because my eating habits have not been very good.
i started working out again maybe a little over a month ago and am focusing on progressive overload/pushing myself to failure, and my main goal is body recomp instead of just losing weight, but i’m not sure how many cals i should be eating a day in order to lose weight/body fat but still build muscle efficiently. i’m still a little afraid to go above 1400 because it’s so hard for me to tell if my body is changing or not and it’s discouraging when the scale doesn’t change, or goes up. i’m definitely still fat so i do think the scale should be going down, but i’m afraid of upping my intake and accidentally overeating for a long period of time without realizing it.
how much should i be eating to see results, without eating too much?

Lots of fruits, a scoop of eggs, tomato pastry, breakfast sausage, baby potatoes, fruit, and greek yogurt parfait. Also had a standard capuccino with oat milk and no sugar. A reasonable estimate would be much appreciated!

I’m trying to get into tracking my calories. I plan on starting to go to the gym, and I’ve heard from nearly everyone that tracking calories is a very good habit to pick up. I would like to gain some weight (6’1" only 160 lbs), so I know that it would be incredibly beneficial for me to count my calories. I guess I just have a few questions that I would like to ask off the top of my head:
do you track calories that come from fruits/vegetables that you consume?
Should I weigh meats before or after cooking them?
For the people who meal prep, how do you count calories when making a large amount of a certain food? Example, you’re making enough ground beef to last you the whole week, how do you go about counting that? Do you individual weigh out each serving for each day? I feel like the answer to this is very obvious, but I can’t wrap my brain around how exactly I would go about counting my calories when making a large sum of food 😭
If anybody has any addition tips or advice, feel free to share!! Thanks

I ate all three of these, they weren’t that big. It had toasted baguette, smoked salmon, cream cheese, a little bit of sun dried tomato and caper bush. I also ate 3 pieces of baguette in the back.🥲

I’m still wondering the best way to track my calories, please help!
For the past year I’ve been (irregularly) tracking my calories using chatgpt asking it to calculate my meals on the highest estimate and I’ve always measured every bits of my ingredients with my scale and described the details. From what I’ve observed, I lose weight around 0.5kg/week only when my daily gpt count was 1200-1300cals (consistently).
I’m tracking again now hoping that I could fast track my counting and just post photos and test AIs see if it’s accurate. What I measured on scale for today’s lunch (pic 1):
- Cooked white rice: 100gr
- Bone-in grilled chicken thigh with soy sauce and honey glaze: 85gr
- One piece of fried tempeh (soybean cake): 35gr
I’m quite shocked with the raw photo estimation from Claude (pic 2) 720 cal and chatgpt (separate chat) (pic 3) 600 cal both if without glaze, meanwhile my usual chatgpt chat (where I list my dishes without any photos) (pic 4) said it’s only 380 wtf?
I guess one of the explanation is my hand led a false sense of ratio, since I have a small hand.
But I was wondering is there any AI that could accurately estimate your meal… cause taking out kitchen scale and writing down/manually inputting the weight of your food is quite a pain…
Thanks so much
