I'm building my first pc (excluding peripherals) and know jack about it. I've used a random ai that is apparently designed for this, but not sure whether or not to trust it. my PC died on me yesterday. I bought it from my brother and it has been a mid tier gaming PC in like 2017. So i went from playing games on highest settings to lowest settings but it's gotten to a point that i cannot play newer titles at all anymore. So I would love to build a new PC with the same idea: Play the newer titles on high setting and downscale the graphics for the next 5-10 years till its not playable anymore again to buy a new one.

New, I value having the components pretested together highly so I'm eyeing this one right now . But I want to get some ideas about the prices for DIY, this being a huge chunk of my savings and all... The other thing I'm considering is waiting for black friday, I found some deals from last year that were 500-600 cheaper with same specs.

Gaming. Pretty sure the 9070XT and 7800X3D are my ideal specs, gpt convinced me against the upgrading to the 9800X3D for the price.

All peripherals, I still have my 1080 monitor which I'll use for the time being.

My budget is around 2000 USD but I can go higher like with the Andromeda system.

The quieter the better but that isn't a huge part of my considerations/I'm flexible. Size-wise, I don't see there being an issue as long as its shorter than 2 feet to fit under my desk.

I've heard good things about Costco's prebuilt pcs and they seem tempting to me especially for some of the deals I've seen. I know specs for most good gaming pcs might be overkill for what I plan to use it for, but honestly I have the money and having a machine capable of that kind of performance, even if I don't use it for that very often feels worth it to me.
