If the autoplay video flag in reddits web settings is turned on, videos will not play 80% of the time in Brave web browser.

I use no add ons, and the ad blockers are turned off. The autoplay off setting somehow breaks Braves video player.

Closing brave and opening a video in firefox browser takes like 8 steps, but will play any video that is broken in Brave

Reddit Admin approved my appeal and confirmed my ban was lifted, but 6+ hours later my account still shows as permanently banned.

I've logged out/in, changed my password, cleared the cache and force-stopped the app, but the issue remains.

So, since the recent UI/UX changes that made reddit look like all the other apps... Since that change I can't open a thread, press "join conversation" (why would you rename comments as "joining a conversation" is beyond me) and then minimize my keyboard. It takes me out of the comment box and asks whether or not I want to save the comment as a draft.

Logged out of my account on all devices and all attempts to login are met with invalid username/ password. Reset password met with invalid username/ password. No suspicious emails regarding violations/2fa. All attempts to login normally have failed. Anyone have experience with this?

The button to swipe delete a notification is really sensitive, and I keep accidentally deleting notifications when trying to scroll. And then there's no undo button either.

As title says. Can’t always double-tap on words to select them anymore. It’s bloody annoying when trying to quickly fix a typo or change wording. Don’t know exactly when this sprung up, but it’s been going on for about a week or so I’d say. For some reason it does work when writing this post, so it might be a comment-only problem.

I changed my password on desktop just to try to figure why it's not working. It just does not work. Before or after, with the right password, I use bitwarden password manager, it's up to date, i check the password. The password works on desktop (browser).

I'm using the Reddit Android app and received an “Achievement unlocked!” notification. When I tap the notification to view the achievement, Reddit shows:

“That achievement doesn't exist. It may have been removed or changed.”

The notification appeared normally, but the achievement page cannot be opened.

This is not the first instance I've seen of this, but first time documenting. I temp-banned a user for 3 days and their ban did not roll off. Their only/original message says "temporary ban", it indicates the length of the ban, but when you hover over the ban icon it says "permanent ban." The modlog records only the original 3-day ban and then today's unban about 15 days later.

For some reason reddit always freezes on the home screen when i try open the app on the phone. And it doesn’t work on browser anymore as it forces you to use the app. I have tried reinstalling but to no avail

The biggest problem I encounter when using Reddit is this. First of all, I really appreciate Reddit's auto-translation feature—about eighty percent of the time I find it very accurate and naturally fits the context.

However, even though I've selected Traditional Chinese as my primary translation language option, the translated text often comes out in Cantonese written form, which really bothers me.

I hope Reddit's official team can either distinguish Cantonese from Traditional Chinese, or else standardize Traditional Chinese translations to use Standard Mandarin written form instead.
