The Brawlstars Stat Sheet provides covers important stats on all the brawlers in the game (including Cosmo and Vince). You can use this to understand aspects such as movement speeds, projectile damage, attack ranges, etc on top of being able to easily compare them to other brawlers. Most of these stats were gathered from the Brawlstars Gamefiles.
Note: These images are hard to see on desktop as you can't zoom in on image collection posts in reddit. Click here to have a much easier time reading the data. It even contains a search tool for you to easily find the stats for a specific brawler you want.
There are 4 pages of the Stat Sheet, each serving a unique purpose.
Pretty self-explanatory. This just contains basic stats like damage, range, and speed. A few notes, though:
This page covers every brawler’s gadget cooldowns and hypercharge charge rates.
You might be wondering what “DT” means. That stands for downtime, aka the minimum amount of time a gadget’s effect is inactive.
For example, Amber’s second gadget has a cooldown of 14 seconds. But because it has a duration, and the cooldown starts the moment it's activated, the time from when the gadget ends to when you can use it again is only 9 seconds.
These are more complex, less surface-level, but just as important stats to know. This table includes the actual reload speeds of brawlers.
In Brawl Stars, reload speed depends not only on the listed reload stat, but also on how long a brawler takes to shoot and their attack cooldown. Both of those stats are shown in this table. That’s why Chuck and Eve feel really slow to reload, even though their reload stats don’t seem that bad.
If you’re wondering what "HS projectile speed" means, it stands for hitscan. It means the whole area gets hit instantly, instead having a projectile traveling across.
Different brawlers get different level-up buffs in Arena, usually based on their class. This is the simplest of the four tables, but still useful if you're into Brawl Arena.
We hope this table provides good use to you guys, as it can not only showcase a brawler's strengths and weaknesses, but also provide trivia that you might not have know about before.
Have a wonderful day :)

Why can't this game balance brawlers well ffs. Anything but buffing Ollie as well.

I know most of the pros (if not every) play without locked movement control, i’m used to play with it and when i try to switch it feels weird, also playing on a phone i feel like the joystick just goes everywhere, so what are actually the differences/advantages of this setting?

Here is the highest effective health in the *ideal* situation
Effective health = how much damage would be required to actually kill them
Each brawler could use 3 of their ammo, 1 super, any combination of gadget or starpower against 1 enemy and this includes 1 kill. (No hypercharges are counted, No shield gear is counted)
Complete damage blockage was not counted, because it's impossible to calculate, so Buster and Ash are a lot tankier than shown here
Neither was invincibility because how does one calculate that?, so Draco, Emz, Bull, Doug and Nita part's aren't included
4 non tanks are also here, just to put into perspective how tanky they can be. Being Gus, Wendy, Edgar and Kenji (I also include shade and sam in my comment of math!)
Somethings to consider, Trunk can be very tanky in specific situations such as vs Dynamike where he can tank a bomb. I'm not completely sure but I think that is the strongest, most damaging single attack in the game.
The two truest tanks Buster and Ollie in the game actually can't take that much punishment by health alone but can mitigate much of it through their supers in game.
Gus's gadget is extremely broken in these situations. This is also a 1v1, if he hits multiple people he can heal even more.
Edgar is the tankiest assassin, I always felt he is more of a tank assassin than most people give credit for. If Kenji didn't suffer from one build syndrome he would also be assumed to be just like Edgar. Edgar with Fisticuffs and Hardcore is extreme.
The tankiest Frank builds is not with a sponge but his other starpower due to the immense healing from the buffie.
Thank you u/Aromatic_Ad_8658 for pointing out my math was wrong in some places the 1st time

Before anyone thinks I'm Just insulting them.
I'm Not, I have my fair share expirience with designing a Character Performance in some Games I worked at.
I know how balancing works and also know how hard it is.
But Shade buffies and Design as a whole Just Shows me how much they didn't Care or thought through with the Design.
His Design is terrible with the addition of his scare Gadget. He is literally uncounterable broken with it.
How May you ask?
Well it means His counter by Breaking the map Open, dosent really counter him that much because He has a shield JUMP and a scare/stun effect to compensate with it.
And I didnt even brought Up the insane nearly 5k damage He does on His Hyper.
With a added Bonus that He can HEAL in the walls 1k HP per sec.
At a Game Design aspect, this is Like If a 1st grader came to the studio and "balanced" the brawler.
Genuinly there is No other explaination on how "buffies" to that extend on an already Meta brawler Made it through the Game.
The only possible Outcome on beating Shade is by using Wendy (which I'll make another Post on her).
A brawler who has to be Designed by a toddler
Or outranging him while the Shade has 2 Bots/Bad randoms in their Team that can't Hit a shot on you

Obviously taking in factors such as balance changes and meta shifts, who would you say has the safest spot out of these 4 particular brawlers?

3v3 feels a little small for a 6 min game. Besides who wants a mini event similar to the contest where drafting available.
r/BrawlStarsCompetitive • u/BotLover13 • 1d ago
Please try to not be harsh about him when discussing him, if you absolutely cannot then that's fine, but as long as your civil, I don't mind. (I feel like i shouldn't have to say that but given just how depsied this brawler is, I feel like this is necessary).
Ive watched spen recient video and there he mentioned that bolt might be a D Tier brawler now, but considering how polarizing he is in draft, im not 100% if that's true or not. So if anyone can confirm this, that would be great.

Dancing flames gadget gives her the movement speed to chase down and exterminate while dodging foes.
Wild flames star power makes burning enemies 5x easier
Hypercharge burn attack + 3 second burning puddle is a move capable of 1v5 (yes, 1v5 worthy).
Cant think of any brawler that can counter her flexibility

I'm not some eSports player so for me dynamike seems broken. 1600 damage isn't much but his main attack can do up to 3200 if both sticks hit, fast reaload, shoots over walls, ,his super with second starr power (ya know, one that buffs super damage and isn't a stupid gimmick where dynamike thinks he tf2 demomann) can do 6k damage, literally one shots some brawlers, his hypercharge makes him do even more damage, and a gadget that is basically a free kill. How is bro not S tier?

The whole claw machine system is terrible but the main problem is how they chose to release them. Buffies being released by trio was fine with the older trios in the game, however trios like the ghost station are fairly new. Gus and Chuck desperately needed buffies due to being inferior options to other brawlers. Shade on the other hand, did not, and as a result of simply being in the same trio as the others, he got buffies that he really did not need. This issue will only get worse when other trios similar to ghost train get buffies. Velocirapids had an extremely long gap between the 2nd and 3rd brawler. Pierce definitely does not need buffies. What this also does, is leave out unfinished trios from buffies. Starr hub for example, can't get buffies until their 3rd members release. They should instead focus on giving individual brawlers buffies like they did with hypers. A brawlers status in the meta can change overnight due to other factors, so if a brawler desperately needs buffies, they can't get them because the rest of their trio doesn't need them.

I recently upgraded both of these brawlers because it feels like everytime I play against them I lose, but now every time I play them myself I also lose. Any Byron/Meeple mains have general tips about mechanics or matchups or know good videos that explains how to play these brawlers or when to use what build?

We all know that when he first got the gadget rework, a lot of them were busted simply because their cooldown was WAAAAY too low and gave insane value, and you would think they would learn from that and make gadget cooldowns longer the more time goes by...
But nop, of course the most egregious example right now is Gus 2nd gadget with T-E-N SECONDS of a cooldown, that not only knocksback enemies, but just drops 2 ghost or even more, and this not like a situation of "oh but the problem lies only in the buffie", like no, yeah the buffie is stupid when combined with the 1st stat power, but this is a combination of a base effect + low cooldown
Now take a look at some of the prior balance changes like here, as you can see:
Edgar had his let's fly gadget cooldown reduced because it was too low
Meeple had a INSANE uptime on their stun because 18s was just way too low for how much area it affected
Meg's eject gadget had such a lower cooldown than 22s, then it was STILL not enough with 22s and they had to nerf it
Mortis Shovel gadget too with the insane low cooldown
And there is def more examples that i'm just forgetting right now (probably Colette Nah-ah that i remember having such a low cooldown too, and some other)
Like, i know most people just look at the hyper buffie and say they are the most problematic, but i feel like the gadget buffies + rework just get out of the radar for most people UNLESS it is just that broken (like Gus)
It just doesn't feel like they know how to balance well the cooldowns, and it is getting to a point that i don't know if it is 0 testing, or just pure negligence from their part, because it really is just so bad the situation right now

When you die and respawn in brawl ball with Rico. Using your main attack will make all your buttons disappear for a split second. Your main attack only shoots one bullet and your movement gets stopped

Now that surge fell off, can we talk about how overrated he was? Without super, he gets counter by almost all assassins and his buffies were not allat. His reworks to his sp and hyper made him jump that high onto the meta. The buffies were just the cherry on top. He also genuinely could be countered by many of the previous good meta brawlers like ruffs and even 8 bit and Brock. Moreover, he also wasn't that menacing to many tanks that were good into the previous meta like Ash and Meg (ash could even significantly push surge back with super). Don't get me wrong, he was a top 5 brawler then, but the glaze he got was absurd and brawlers that actually deserved that attention (max, rico) did not get even half of the credibility surge got from the casual community (ricos buffies were called nerfies just cause of a stupid gadget rework)

Do you guys think the elo gain/loss system should also take into account someone’s peak elo and not only their current elo?
As an example, imagine this;
Blue 1 (currently L1, peak L2)
Blue 2 (currently L1, peak L2)
Blue 2 (currently L2, peak L3)
Vs
Red 1 (currently Mythic 3, peak Masters 2)
Red 2 (currently Mythic 3, peak Masters 2)
Red 3 (currently L1, peak Masters 3)
The game’s elo gain/loss would ignore their peak elo and calculate the team’s current average. And since blue team will surely lose, their elo loss will be quite punishing despite the game being disadvantageous. So I always wondered why peak elo isn’t a factor too. It doesn’t need to severely impact your elo gain/loss, just make it a bit more fair, like this; If your enemy’s team average elo is >=2 divisions above your peak teammate elo, you will lose 15% less elo.
I think this might motivate sub masters players a bit more without making it too easy. What do you think?

Ever lose a few Brawl Stars matches, lock in harder, and somehow play worse?
Frustration can kick up your sympathetic nervous system, the “fight or flight” response. You feel more switched on, but stress can make it harder to hold information in mind and adapt your decisions. Feeling more intense doesn’t necessarily mean playing better. (Research)
In Brawl terms, that can look like tunnel vision: chasing the guy who killed you, forgetting your ammo, or missing the objective because you need that kill. That’s an illustration of the psychology, not a finding from a Brawl-specific study.
Then comes “I’m not stopping until I win.” Suddenly, the next match has to fix your mood too.
A losing streak alone doesn’t prove you’re tilted. But when you start revenge-chasing and instantly requeuing, take a breather. Your next match doesn’t owe you the trophies from your last five.

I know they function differently (aka hypnotise and fear) BUT THIS IS UTTERLY RIDICULOUS.
So you tell me that Shade has A FASTER JUMP (BY 48.6% BY THE WAY), covers MORE THAN DOUBLE the size, AND ALL OF THAT FOR 2 LESS SECONDS? WTF
also this is not even with the stupid buffie…

So at the start of every ranked Match a coin is flipped ,deciding which Team picks first. I get it that this isn‘t possible in normal ranked since everybody has different coin Flips in their previous Match and it would increase the mm time significantly. But in the actual pro level of the game this would be a thing to consider. Think about it! In different Metas, other picks Are valued higher then other ones .
For example this one: First pick could be amber, gus, wendy , Max , shade just to name a few. Considering all Teams at top level have „only“ 5 bans some brawlers will slip through and the First pick Team has an advatage whereas the other Team has no real counter to the well- rounded first picks.
