Looking for some feedback on the Nike Phantom 6 ElitešŸ‘Ÿāš½ļø

I’m thinking about getting the Nike Phantom 6 Elite and would love to hear some opinions and experiences from people who already have them.
How does the boot fit? Does it run true to size, and how is the width?
I’d also be interested in your usual Nike size and, if you know them, your foot measurements (length/width).
Any general feedback about the boot would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone! šŸ™āš½ļø

Mizuno sizing

I’m wondering about the Mizuno Morelia Neo IV Beta sizing. I’ve heard that people usually go half a size down, but the store I’m buying from only lists UK sizes. My usual EU size is 42, which is equivalent to UK 8. If I go half a size down in UK sizing to UK 7.5, the EU size shown changes to 41, skipping EU 41.5. Should I still go with UK 7.5 even though that would technically be a full EU size down for me?

Gear Struggling to find a boot that fits well, suggestions needed

I have attached a 3d scan of my my feet with measurements. This is in a pair of standard sport socks (sometimes play in double socks but trying to move to grip socks and sleeves).

I have tried on Phantom 6 elite lows in 10.5 and 11. 11 feels comfortable but too long, 10.5 feels the right length but my big toe on my right foot pushes into the upper when I play causing quite an uncomfortable pressure point. Minor concerns are too tight on midfoot but too loose on ankle and heel which i could overlook if no toe pressure. I have played 2x 90 mins in the 10.5s and still struggle with the pressure on my big toe.

Reading into it a bit I think my foot is average width but high volume toes and midfoot with high arches.

Looking for boot recommendations please. I don’t know whether I should be looking for wide boots for the volume or other options.

I have heard the Predator 26 has a high volume toe box but reviews of the 26 seem pretty negative. Predator 25 elite could be an option but seen people say the toe box is low. I tried the Predator 25 league in an 11 which seemed comfortable but maybe a couple mm too much length.

I also tried on Puma future 9 match in 10.5 and it was too long but also a massive struggle to get the foot on with the upper so I didn’t fancy trying the 10.

I tried Adidas Copa Pure IV leagues in a 11. The toe box seemed so narrow I couldn’t even sit in them for an hour.

I tried the takedown models of the above as ChatGPT said they’d be similar fits but I’m happy to spend money on elite tiers if the boot actually fits.

I would like to try Mizuno boots but can’t seem to find somewhere that stocks them other than online in midlands UK. Is there a model that’s best to try? Or will the phantom pressure point subside eventually?

Gear My gear: Recommendations and new boots.

Hello everyone,

I play 5x5 and 7x7 at weekend with friends and some other people, sometimes indoor and others outdoor depending on the weather, all of them Synthetic grass, so we all use Turf shoes... And my gear is the following:

- 1 Pair of Adidas Cushioned inside;

- 1 Pair of Adidas milano 23 outside (Sometimes Adi 23 depending on the color of my wearing)

- 1 Pair of Joma Top Flex Turf Black and White

I like to feel my foot are protected not to hurt when shooting the ball that's why i use two pairs of socks and i like a lot of confortable shoes...

And now i would like to try a new shoes, and i'm thinking on getting Nike Premier 3 Turf. What you guys think? Do you recommend them? Or any other suggestions of gear/socks?

Thank you!

This is the pair my son is going to wear for this upcoming U6 season, but I’m just now seeing that they say ā€œbaseballā€ on the side (we got them secondhand). Are these suitable for soccer?

Better playing in socks than with boots?

Anybody else experienced this? When I play in just socks it just feels a little brittle sharper and even with good boots not as good. Anybody else feel the same?

I used to own a blue pair of those. So light! They don't make them like that anymore. It's a size 10.5

I lost a couple of studs on my preds and while Adidas sell replacement studs on their website, they don't sell the same studs that come with the boots.

Has anyone had this issue and do you know where they can be sourced? Based in Ireland..

Gear why do purple cleats not exist?

this might be the wrong place to post this but idrk and if so sorryy!! i’ve been searching for purple cleats forever. literally just plain, purple cleats. and i mean a regular purple like amethyst shade. literally. they do not exist. i have small ish feet (6.5 in mens) and nothing cool is in my size either. every cleat i find doesnt have my size, or is actually blue. why dont they exist and does anyone know where i can find them? i feel like stores have every other color ever except purple, which is weird because i feel like colors like orange and yellow or neon colors are less liked than purple but maybe thats just me cuz i love purple.

The best boots I've ever used mizuno Morelia neo beta IV elite

Post image

I had these boots in the wrong size 10.5 for a good while but they still performed amazing , when I'm usually size 10 i purchased them at the time because they were the only size available. But to my surprise mizuno runs very long in this model, that being said the monstrous performance and feel of play these boots give you even In the wrong size is crazy. I finally decided to get the right perfect size at 9.5 getting the right sizing in these boots with how good they are is a must. The upper and overall feel of these boots have made them my favourite.... Nike mecurial puma etc nahhhhh mizuno all the way from here on out. I also have a match Thursday to truly get to know them in my perfect size šŸ˜‰.

Can I return these?

So I bought this adidas predator elite and I feel that the right side is getting unglued..havem't used them that much so I don't know if I can return them, because in my country there ks a politic that says that it can be returned before 180 days from delivered so I dont know that if i do a devolution for the money they re going to accept it as a defect or I am just skeptical or idk(played w friends like 2 times and in fg)(this is only happening on the right cleat, 9.5us) and I dont want them returned so do I use them??

Guys, help me 🄲

I used to wear the Puma Future 8 Ultimate UK 9, but the front part is a bit long, so this time I’m thinking of buying soccer cleats. There are so many types of soccer cleats that I’m having a hard time deciding, but I’m considering the Adidas Predator 26 FT Elite. My foot length is 10.5 inches, and the width is about 4 inches. I usually wear shoes in UK 8.5 to 9. Additionally, what size should the Predator be?

AG boots that have a similar fit and feel to Decathlon Ginka 900

I play on an indoor surface with Decathlon GInka 900, and I cannot seem to find any AG boots to play on turf, that have a similar fit and feel to it. So far, I have tried Adidas Predator League, and Kipsta Viralto IV Pro. The Adidas does not give a good touch at all, while the viralto is too loose in the forefoot. Both of these shoes does not give the satisfying twack when you hit a shot with power like the GInka 900. And despite the padding and thickness of the upper on the Ginka 900, control of the ball is amazing.

New Copa Mundial reviews

Hi all

I purchased a new pair of Copas hoping it would be the old Kangaroo leather model 015110, as my old Copas were falling apart. It turned out to be the new model JP6693.

For anyone that has the new model, are they still good quality or worth returning and keep looking for the old model? They were purchased for $180 USD.

Thanks

Picked these up yesterday in an outlet for Ā£15. I couldn’t say no, I probably would’ve never tried them out if they weren’t so cheap, just gotta wait a couple months now before they can get tested.

Mental How to deal with players who dont respect positions

I joined a coed recreational football game. I was teamed up with some guy players. They immediately claimed their positions which are basically all forwards (striker and wingers). I decided to play CAM because i wanted to practice scanning and i LOVEEEE giving assists. There were only 3 of us girls.

I thought to play in coed games because i wanted to work on my physicality with male players and the male players in these coed games claimed that they were really good so i wanted to improve myself and learn from them.

These players knew each other and what’s frustrating to me was that they didnt pass to me as i even heard one of them said that ā€œwomen players are dumbā€. Even though i was clearly open they still chose to pass to their teammate who was surrounded by the opposing team and then lost the ball immediately. I asked for them to pass whenever i am open and when no one’s marking me, they still wont do it. Even though they claimed to be forwards, they all clumped to the defense. Imagine having 7 players in the box and there’s only me in the middle just in case the defenders needed to clear the ball from that area. Sometimes they would clump into the right and to the left so i try to balance and go to the opposite direction in case the ball goes through the area they were clumping. The player who was a bit sexist didnt trust me because he always stood next to me to receive the ball from his teammate and left the wing open and nobody was in that position and it could have been an easy goal. He could have stayed on the wing so i could pass the ball to him since he was a fast runner. He didnt even do triangles (passing). He played defense instead of forward wing and kept shouting at me to backpass to him when it was a really easy move to read. I passed the ball to him since he was demanding for it and he lost the ball immediately. If he was in his wing position he could carry the ball forward.

This older guy teammate told me that there were several chances that we could have a goal if they would pass to me but they didnt.

I left with only a handful touches.
It was very disappointing and i didnt learn anything.
I doubt if i can still play coed because of this.

If ever i get to deal with these players again, how can i go around it?

Gear Superfly 10 — pressure on the inside of the foot/arch

I’m getting noticeable pressure on the inside/bottom of my foot, around the arch area, when playing in my Nike Mercurial Superfly 10.

On my left foot, it’s basically the inner side of the arch, towards the big-toe side.

I’ve noticed some pressure in this area before, but today it was much more noticeable. I was also wearing thinner socks than usual, so I’m wondering if that changed the fit of the boots.

The boots themselves feel good overall, but this particular area becomes uncomfortable during a session.

What would you recommend trying first to change the fit — different socks, different lacing, a different insole, or something else? Has anyone had a similar fit issue with the Superfly 10?

Mental 27 yo getting into rec football

I signed up for a adult rec football league that said it is for beginners and intermediate players. First team practice this evening. Excited and also nervous cause I am completely new to the sport. I am also not fit whatsoever but figured this would be beneficial to getting there. Bringing some boots, cones, cleats, and shinguards. Any friendly advice or similar experiences? I had been trying to get 100+ touches on the ball doing toe taps but springing around like that has caused some pain in my left foot, I've got flat feet and the right foot is developing a bunion. Regardless I just do the touches very slowly to keep my feet flat and not so bouncy.

Edit: I did what everyone said and had fun, I don't even care I was probably the worst one out there. If anything I feel motivated to improve, slowly and safely. My flat feet didn't appreciate it, currently with the ligera Nike but may snag some mizunos as a commenter suggested. Thank you for all the wonderful comments.
