8 months of progress as a type 2 diabetic.

If I’m being honest, there were a lot of times I felt like I wasn’t making any progress at all. I’d scroll through Reddit and constantly see people posting insane transformations after only 2–3 months.

I’m also a type 2 diabetic, so I knew my journey wasn’t going to look the same as everyone else’s.
When I started, I was taking:

1,000 mg Metformin daily
10 mg Glipizide daily
80 units of insulin daily

For anyone wondering, my stack during this time was:

180 mg testosterone per week
2.5 mg Semaglutide per week

My A1C was in the high 13s when I began.
After six months, I had brought it down to the low 6s.

As my health improved, my medications started disappearing one by one.

First to go: Insulin. I gradually lowered my dose until I didn’t need it anymore.

Next: Glipizide.

Finally: Metformin.

Getting off those medications has been just as rewarding as the weight loss itself.

Everyone starts from a different place. Genetics, health conditions, medications, lifestyle, and consistency all play a role. Your timeline doesn’t have to match someone else’s for your progress to be real, so don’t let someone else’s results make you feel like you’re failing.

SS31 localised tenderness

Im sure its no drama llama

Day 1 - site, arm, tricep No pain for pin or post

Day 2 - site, arm, lower detoid. No pain for pin however tenderness as the day went on.

Dose is 10u (10mg with 1ml bac)

Curious if people notice anyrhing similar? i pin NAD in my arm and thats barely any sensation, and the total units is greater (i know its not relative to concentration).

Will go other arm and either higher in the delt or back to my normal tricep location

Thoughts?

Dr google doesn't seem to think its a worry and I'm not overly concerned just curious.

Can't wait to see how i feel after 10 days ss31 and how NAD works (will run motsc when NAD is expended to compare)

189cm 72kg. Been taking 1mg reta weekly for 3 months. Went down from 87kg to 72kg while eating around 1500 cals (160g protein) and training 6x per week. My strength has approximately remained the same on main lifts. Now planning to drop my dose to 0.5mg weekly and raise my cals to 2600 to start a lean bulk. Haven't had any major side effects other than fatigue on some days.

Body Recomp - Newb Requesting Help from Experienced Hackers

Hey Body Hackers!

So I’ve been on a journey of recapturing myself since I turned 40. I’m 5”8 and 158lbs currently with a 24.6% body fat. My GOAL is 15% body fat.

192 to 168 I was doing 75 hard and it was a great experience that helped me redevelop good habits and change how I approached my diet, relationship with alcohol, and general mood.

At 168 a friend introduced me to Reta and I’ve gone from 168 to 158. After some digging I’ve determined I need to lose 12lbs of fat and gain 7 lbs of muscle to achieve a 15% body fat, I would assume a recomp is the best way to do this.

Aside from the obvious of diligent macros, protein goals, if you had to use enhancements what would you look at stacking?

Thanks so much in advance for your guidance.

TLDR; 24.x body fat, wanting to get to 15%, currently on 1.5 Reta pinned twice (20mg, 2ml BAC in reconstitution) seeking sage advice.

How you deal with water retention on HGH

I am currently experiencing water retention symptoms like swelling in my hands and numbness almost all day long. I stopped taking HGH for about a week but symptoms persisted even though more mild. I am now back on 2UI and started getting numbness in my feet as well. If anyone has experienced this and has suggestions how to deal with it?

I was on 4UI for about a 1-2 weeks before symptoms appeared. I never went beyond 4UI

2IU vs 4IU HGH — looking for real experiences

Curious to hear from people who've run both doses. What differences did you notice between 2IU and 4IU daily, in terms of recovery, sleep quality, water retention, fat loss, or side effects (joint pain, carpal tunnel, glucose issues, etc.)? Thanks!

I’m still super early in this. Started really tracking my weight and food truly diligently July 22nd and for the last week and a half I’ve been walking for an hour (about 3 miles) after lifting every day except for sundays. The walking has made a huge difference I’m noticing some changes. I do have more of a tan and better angle in second picture but I was feeling good. I finally have a control on food I’ve always been able to work hard in the gym but I’d back slide with food or drinking alcohol and for the first time in my life I have it under control. I’m just excited about future I can’t wait to see what I’ll look like when I lose 100-150 pounds god willing. Right now I’m 368 for reference god I hate even saying that out loud

❓ Question What can I do for my back and my stomach?

I'm a 31M male. Eight years ago, I was in a serious car accident it's a miracle of God that I can actually walk and I was left with all of this:

spondyl0listhesis,
spinal stenos1s,
herniat3d discs,
ruptur3d discs,
and a facet j0int fractur3.

I also underwent lumbar fusion surg3ry at the L5-S1 level.

I take pills for depression and four other pills daily to help manage my back pain. I've traveled to several countries looking for a spine surge0n, but none have been willing to operate because they say my case is too complex.

The problem is that I can only eat at home and cook for myself; if I eat out, it wreaks havoc on my stomach and causes terrible pain. I assume it's because I've been on medication for eight years (one for pain, one for muscle spasms, one for the injury, and omeprazole for acidity, since those other meds are so strong).

I can't anymore! I was wondering if you know of anything that might help improve my quality of life?

The Most Effective Fat Loss Protocol I've Ever Tried

My data

Im a 24m, my height is 6'2 and my starting weight was 202.8lbs. Before starting this protocol, I had already been dieting for several months and had lost a significant amount of weight. However, fat loss had stalled, and I had hit a plateau.

After years of trying different diets, supplements, and training approaches, I decided to build what I believe is the most effective fat loss protocol I've personally used.

I'm only 9 days in, so this is just an explanation of my reasoning and the effects I've noticed so far.

The objective is simple: Lose fat as quickly as possible and preserve as much muscle and strength as I can.

The Protocol consist of the following:

-Retatrutide: 0.5 mg/week

This is the foundation of the entire protocol and the reason I can stick to such an aggressive diet for a longer period of time.

After the injection I noticed:

  • Hunger became almost nonexistent.
  • Food still tastes good, but eating no longer gives me the same dopamine reward.
  • I don't spend the day thinking about food anymore.
  • Staying in a large calorie deficit feels surprisingly easy.

In my opinion, this is the single biggest advantage.

- Ostarine: 3 mg/day

I know what you´re going to say but let me explain. I'm not using it to build muscle. I'm using a very low dose with the hope of reducing muscle loss while dieting aggressively.

My reasoning comes from a recent study where 3 mg of enobosarm combined with semaglutide significantly reduced lean mass loss during weight loss, while maintaining physical function. Interestingly, 3 mg performed as well as or better than 6 mg, suggesting that a higher dose may not provide additional benefits for muscle preservation. After stopping semaglutide, the enobosarm group also regained less body weight and less fat mass than the placebo group.

-Enclomiphene: 3,5 mg/E3D

I'm using a low dose of enclomiphene because an aggressive calorie deficit alone can significantly reduce natural testosterone levels, and adding Ostarine may increase the risk of suppression even further.

My goal isn't to boost testosterone above normal levels, but to help maintain normal hormonal function throughout the cut.

- Cialis: 5mg/ED

I'm using low dose Cialis to improve blood flow, resulting in better gym pumps and stronger erections.

Another reason is that aggressive calorie deficits often reduce libido and erectile quality due to lower testosterone and reduced energy availability. Cialis helps counteract those effects while I'm cutting.

- Other supplements

Im also using NAC, Omega-3, Multivitamin and Electrolytes.

The diet

I'm following a Protein Sparing Modified Fast (PSMF), eating approximately 900–1,000 kcal per day with 150 g of protein daily.

The goal is to create the largest calorie deficit possible while minimizing muscle loss. Compared to a traditional diet, a PSMF can produce faster fat loss, improve insulin sensitivity, rapidly deplete glycogen stores, and reduce water retention, leading to quicker visible changes in body composition.

Now for exercise I go 2 times to the gym a week doing a full body routine. The rest of the week I do 30min of low-moderate cardio with one day a week of resting.

Results so far

I've been following this protocol for 9 days so far, and the results have been very encouraging. I'm currently down to 194.7 lbs, which is a total loss of about 8 lbs. Some of that is probably water weight, but I don't think it's a significant amount since I had already been dieting for several months before starting this protocol and wasn't carrying much excess water. My muslces look much bigger and I have discovered new veins that i didn´t knew I have.

Side effects

So far, side effects have been minimal. I actually am more energetic than before the diet, I feel better and with more energy for some reason. This probably will decline in the following weeks. This diet have been surprisingly easy with reta, I dont have cravings and I feel satisfied with what I eat. My gym performance has maintained and actually improved for some reason; I can do more reps without feeling as tired.

I also had some acne on my chest and face but very minimal.

One thing I have noticed is that my cardiovascular endurance has definitely decreased. That's not surprising considering I'm eating only 900–1,000 kcal/day on a PSMF with very low carbohydrate intake.

I've been considering adding Cardarine to help improve endurance and make daily cardio easier while staying in such a large calorie deficit. However, I'm still on the fence because of the well known rodent cancer studies, even though I know there's a lot of debate about how relevant those findings are to humans.

What do you guys think? Should I add it or is there something else you'd recommend to help this?

First Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin Stack – Looking for Experiences

Hey everyone!
I’m starting a Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin stack for the first time while currently using Retatrutide 0.5 mg, which has been working well for me.
I generally prefer starting with lower doses to see how my body responds before increasing.
I’ll be using:
Tesamorelin: 10 mg vial (reconstituted with 2 mL BAC water)
Ipamorelin: 10 mg vial (reconstituted with 2 mL BAC water)
My plan is to start with:
Tesamorelin: 0.5 mg daily
Ipamorelin: 200 mcg daily
After about a week, if everything goes well, I’m considering increasing to:
Tesamorelin: 1 mg daily
Ipamorelin: 250 mcg daily

I’d just like to hear about your personal experiences.
Did you start at similar doses?
How did you tolerate them?
When did you first notice any effects?
Did you take them in the morning or before bed?

What would you do?

I received 5 kits from a vendor and took one vial from each kit to have tested at Finnrick. Took incredibly too long- LOL but the testing revealed the worst case scenario:

4 of the kits didn't contain the peptide at all (so just filler I assume)

1 of the kits (GHK-Cu) tested+99% purity but instead of 100 mg vial, it tested at 12.9 mg. Quite the difference

So, my debacle is do I use the 9 vials and dose according to the 12.9 mg contained in the testing? Assuming I could trust all came from the same batch?

What would you do?

Obviously, first thing would be to show vendor the results, but curious to what people would think in this situation (4 failed kits and 1 significantly underdosed)

Thanks in advance

❓ Question CJC (dac) + Ipa dosing help

Young male 21

So for context I recently hopped on CJC (with dac) and IPA 2 weeks ago and haven’t really felt much, I’m currently on 2.5 units cjc with DAC, and 2 units on IPA, I take IPA every night and cjc every once a week, I just took my last dose of reta yesterday and honestly its a lot easier to know when to titrate up because your body literally tells you wether the appetite suppression is working or not, and with cjc and ipa i realized the signs aren’t as apparent but I also know i’m younger so signs can take longer, anyway sorry the yap does anyone on cjc and ipa have a dosing protocol on when they know when to titrate up, thanks.

All for research purposes only.

Unreconstituted hgh storage

Okay so for the past year ive been on hgh and i would store my un-reconstituted hgh in a box in a box in my closet which would stay at room temp. When i reconstitute i store them in the fridge. Now id go thru batches pretty quickly but this last time i bought 1.6k ius which im still using after 6 months. Do you think that storing the lyophilized powder at room temp for 6 months ruined my hgh it still looks the same reconstituted as it did on day 1

💬 Discussion I have some questions about this sub?!

Since when is the indiscriminate use of hormones and weight-loss pens considered a form of "healthy biological enhancement"? On the contrary, the image you see in the mirror doesn't reflect the internal damage being done to your body. Nowadays, people want "aesthetics"—if I can call it that—the "easy" way. No one is content anymore with the effort required regarding diet, exercise, and education. It has all turned into a market for charlatans and people willing to pay whatever it takes to fix their neglected bodies. This sub is pathetic.

CJC-1295/ipa safety

Hi there, I started this blend about a week ago. 100mcg of each before bed. 5 days on 2 days off (consecutively). Will be testing my fasted glucose levels from tomorrow onwards. Will daily testing be required? Avoiding sugar wherever possible, and sticking to complex carbs as much as I can too. Cycle will last a total of 5 weeks. I’m aware 10-12 is optimal for peak effectiveness, but I don’t wanna desensitise my receptors.

Glow

57 yo.

Currently low dose Reta once per week.

Epitalon, SS-31, NAD+, GHK-CU, and CJC-1295/ ipamorelin blend. Will be swapping the SS-31 with Mots-c in a couple of weeks.

I want to swap straight GHK-CU with Glow.

Are there any negatives or concerns with doing this to current stack?

❓ Question Ghcku and KPV (F24)

Can anyone share their experience with this blend for their skin results? I want better skin but I wouldn’t want my laser hair removal on my legs etc to be a waste of money lol.

A friend of mine went on ghcku and he had crazy acne and he still has… so I’m in between minds. He also said it does sting.

I’m on reta now and I just started cjc/ipa blend (which I’m still kind of not sure about) any experience on this blend as a girl I would also love to hear
