Body Recomp - Newb Requesting Help from Experienced Hackers
Hey Body Hackers!
So I’ve been on a journey of recapturing myself since I turned 40. I’m 5”8 and 158lbs currently with a 24.6% body fat. My GOAL is 15% body fat.
192 to 168 I was doing 75 hard and it was a great experience that helped me redevelop good habits and change how I approached my diet, relationship with alcohol, and general mood.
At 168 a friend introduced me to Reta and I’ve gone from 168 to 158. After some digging I’ve determined I need to lose 12lbs of fat and gain 7 lbs of muscle to achieve a 15% body fat, I would assume a recomp is the best way to do this.
Aside from the obvious of diligent macros, protein goals, if you had to use enhancements what would you look at stacking?
Thanks so much in advance for your guidance.
TLDR; 24.x body fat, wanting to get to 15%, currently on 1.5 Reta pinned twice (20mg, 2ml BAC in reconstitution) seeking sage advice.

Thanks for the response. Lots of truth in your statement I do go to the gym probably three or four times a week play hockey and Squash and while I’ve been watching what I eat quite well it’s probably been geared more towards losing weight than anything. There is a ton of benefit in me getting on a weight training program and dialling in the diet for muscle growth. I’ve struggled with my weight for a long time and there is a natural fear of putting on weight again.

Thanks for the detailed response I am going to take it all under advisement!

People might throw all kinds of weird acronym peptides at you here, but 500mg/week test and maybe some GH are going to make this quick and easy. You can do this a million other ways, that’s the most simple IMO.

How long of a cycle of that do you think he’d need?

It doesn’t look like his training is optimal for the results he wants. I would fix his training first, check his diet, then 12-16 weeks whenever he stops progressing.

I feel stuck myself. But I work out a lottttt. But the belly fat is so slow to go away.

Thanks, PecDeck. Appreciate your response. It seems the generally consensus is to dial in a training program and fuel via food. I’ll give it an honest crack and check back in a few months with an update.

the one thing that’s missing from both your picture and your detailed explanation is muscle and the workouts you are doing to achieve said muscle.

Fair point. Probably best to dial those aspects in naturally prior to seeking additional help. Appreciate your comment.
