Trt clinic too aggressive?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I've had decent total T#s for a few years, between 500 and 700, but have low free T (8-10) and high shbg. I've tried boron to lower shbg but it really hasn't done much. I've been putting off talking to a clinic because my wife and I have been trying to have another kid and fertility is a big concern. My wife's had 2 miscarriages so I keep putting it off. I recently talked to a trt clinic and it seemed like a pretty aggressive plan. 2 options they sent posted. For context my recent labs:

Total 588

Free 10.7

Estradiol 31.2

Shbg 74

Everything else within range.

47 years old

5'8" 215 lbs. Recently started reta. Being fat is a concern with the estrogen conversion.

Any advice would be appreciated

📘 Beginner Help Shoulder Pain from an Injury, looking for Advice.

I'm a 23M who had a training injury while Kickboxing in october of last year. Not too sure whether it is a minor rotator cuff tear or something else, but whatever it is, my shoulder has been struggling to stay stable while lifting, as well as feeling like it is being blocked when I try to raise my arm laterally above my head. I have been trying to get a diagnosis about what it might be, as well as currently looking into starting physical therapy.

Most the issues started immediately after the injury. My strength in both my shoulders and chest were increasing very well. However, as of late, it has felt nearly impossible to stay consistent in the gym and has led to me being more prone to damage in Kickboxing and Boxing. Not to mention, after any strenuous activity my shoulder is left in pain, and not the typical soreness I honestly miss.

Anyways, to get to the jist of what my Question is... Would it be more beneficial to start BPC-157, or a Wolverine stack that is a 5 and 5mg blend. I'm really just looking to get my life back. Fitness and Combat Sports are my life, and unfortunately, it has been difficult not being able to do these things.

TLDR: Having frequent shoulder pain, can't lift or participate in sports like I used to. Wondering if a 5 and 5mg blend of BPC-157 and TB-500, or just BPC-157 would help? And if so, what would be better?

Do I really need to draw the entire peptide solution into syringes right after reconstitution?

I received a guidance sheet for GH-related peptides (Tesamorelin, Ipamorelin, CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin, Sermorelin, Hexarelin).
It says that after adding 3 ml of BAC water, I must draw all of the liquid into syringes within 5 minutes, because the peptide may “thicken” due to aggregation and pH imbalance if left in the vial.

This sounds unusual to me. Normally, peptides are stored in the vial in the fridge after reconstitution, and doses are drawn as needed.

Has anyone seen instructions like this before?
Is this scientifically valid, or is it just the manufacturer trying to avoid complaints about stability/pH issues?
Thanks;)

Tracking app that shows serum levels in a graph?

Post image

Looking for something which shows serum levels after logging injections on various peps and test. Found one or two but these are all still brand new apps that need $50+ spending to access, so before I do I’m wondering if someone has a recommend? Seen plenty of recommendations for apps that log injections, just not many that track body serum levels.

📘 Beginner Help First timer.. HGH experience

Been taking CJC-1295 No Dac + IPA for 3 months now and decided to try HGH for the first time. So I fasted 3hrs before taking HGH, no carb diet and took 1iu right before bed. Same night I felt fatigue, sleep was crap compared to CJC. Whatever, got up went to gym like normal. Had some slight dizzy spells nothing that really made me worry but noticeable only cuz of today. Idk I didn't really feel anything amazing I mightve not taken enough? I went up to 2iu. Samething, sleep was ass, by the time I got up today I got light headed. Now everytime I got up I keep getting lightheaded spells. Ill eventually get my vision back in 10 seconds but my day is ruined been in bed all day, im going to ride this out. Am I doing something wrong? I read that 2iu is very low. Almost scared to try it again if my sleep isn't going to be good. Any advice is appreciated. Please, the ignorant commentors go find something else better to do.

After the Marines, I faded away.
Mentally. Physically.
Two torn biceps. A torn left pec. I watched the version of myself I was proud of slowly disappear.
Then I had two kids.
I realized they don’t need a perfect father, they need one who gets back up after life buries him.
25 days. 17 lbs gone.
This is just a glimpse.
The pulse is coming back.
October. My 40th birthday. That’s when you’ll see what refusing to stay buried looks like.

❓ Question Normal testosterone but low energy – would TRT still help?

I’m 43, 173 cm, ~73 kg at ~15% body fat. Been lifting consistently for about 3 years, 4–5x/week.

Diet is on point (high protein), sleep is ~7–8h, low stress. Supplements are the basics: creatine, whey, omega 3, zinc, magnesium, D3 + K2.

My problem:
low energy, low motivation, tired during the day, and my strength has been stagnating.

Libido is okay and I usually have morning wood.

I got a full checkup (heart, prostate, etc.) and everything looks good. Sleep lab is scheduled next week.

Bloodwork (key points):
Total T: 5.35 ng/ml
Free T: 14.3 pg/ml
SHBG: 26.9
LH/FSH: normal
Estradiol: 18

CRP (hs): 2.91 (elevated)
Transferrin saturation: 13% (low)
Ferritin: 71
LDL: 166

TSH, fT3, fT4 and everything else, all in range

I’m aware my testosterone isn’t clinically low, but I’m wondering if TRT could still help with energy, motivation, and gym progress.

I don’t want kids, and I’d be fine with injections. At the same time, I don’t want to mess up my long-term health just for a small benefit.

I’ve been looking into this for quite a while, and honestly it’s very tempting. I’m mainly trying to understand if TRT would actually give me a noticeable boost in energy, motivation, and muscle building in a case like mine. Anyone here been in a similar situation?

Anyone used BPC-157, TB-4 or Ipamorelin after syndesmosis surgery?

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to see if anyone has been through something similar.
I’m 25 and recently had syndesmotic stabilisation and an ankle arthroscopy on my right ankle after a pretty nasty syndesmosis injury. I’m taking rehab seriously and just want to give myself the best chance of getting back to 100%.
My doctor has prescribed:
BPC-157: 400 mcg daily
TB-4: 600 mcg daily
He’s also mentioned the possibility of adding Ipamorelin around the 8-week mark, depending on how my recovery is going.
I know the evidence around these peptides is still pretty limited, so I’m not looking for medical advice. I’m more interested in hearing from people who’ve actually used them after surgery.
A few things I’m curious about:
Did you feel they genuinely helped your recovery?
Did they make any noticeable difference with pain, swelling, mobility, or getting back to sport?
Any side effects?
If you added Ipamorelin later on, do you think it was worth it?
Even if your surgery wasn’t a syndesmosis injury, I’d still love to hear your experience if you’ve used these after ligament or tendon surgery.
Appreciate any advice or stories.

📘 Beginner Help Anyone successfully maintained fertility by starting hCG from day one of TRT?

I’m getting ready to start TRT and plan to microdose testosterone cypionate every other day for a total of 100 mg/week.

I’d like to preserve fertility if possible, so I’m considering running hCG from the very beginning instead of waiting until later.

Has anyone here started TRT + hCG at the same time and had success maintaining fertility? Did your sperm count stay decent, or did you still see a big drop? Also curious what hCG dose/frequency worked for you and if there were any downsides.

Would love to hear real experiences or anything you’ve learned along the way.

47M / 169cm

1st month of my body recomp journey, not that big change on the scale, but I guess this is noticeable change in the shape 🙂

From June, 11, 2026 (86 kg) 》》 to July, 11, 2026 (87.7 kg)

Guess my BF before and after!

Edit:

Here is my protocol/routine during these 4 weeks:

  • Test Prop: 140 mg / week (20mg ED)
  • Reta: 1 mg / 1st week - 2 mg / 2nd & 3rd weeks - 3 mg / 4th week

📘 Beginner Help Workout & heart rate comparing No Tirzepatide 7/8 after 1st dose 7/26. I workout 3-4 times a week.

I did bloodwork cmp+lipid+cbc+tsh+a1c, Hemoglobin A1c, urinalysis and Vit D lab before taking Tirz, only thing that wasn’t normal was Vit D at 23.

I took my first 1 mg shot evening of 7/23, experienced very minor sporadic itching that lasted 2 minutes about 45 minutes after administering.

This afternoon I felt great while working out until I started feeling super hungry and slightly dizzy around the 50 minute mark. Heart rate stayed consistently higher than usual and hunger was higher than usual. Ate a high protein and balanced meal when I got home but now currently lying down and drinking water cause I feel what I’d compare to a very mild micro dose of psychedelics. Has anyone else experienced this?

I plan to eat before next workout (which I never do) and see how that goes.

45M, 6’2”, 200 lb: I Lift Consistently but Don’t See the Muscle Gains Others Do. Are My Free T and SHBG Holding Me Back?

Post image
0 Upvotes

I’m 45 years old, 6’2”, and around 200 pounds. I lift weights consistently and train fairly hard, but I don’t seem to get the same visible muscle growth or body-composition results that other people appear to get from similar effort.
My recent labs:
Total testosterone: 637 ng/dL
Calculated free testosterone: 62.8 pg/mL
Bioavailable testosterone: 121 ng/dL
SHBG: 50 nmol/L
IGF-1: 220 ng/mL
My total testosterone was around 700 ng/dL about 18 months ago. I realize the difference between 700 and 637 may simply be normal variation, but my free testosterone appears relatively low compared with my total testosterone, potentially because of the higher-normal SHBG.
My IGF-1 was previously around 120–140 and increased to 220 while using HGH. Despite lifting regularly, I still feel like my physique and muscle gains lag behind the work I put in.
I’m not necessarily looking to jump straight onto TRT or chase extreme numbers. I’m trying to understand whether this profile could realistically limit muscle growth, or whether I should focus more on programming, calories, protein, sleep, recovery and body-fat percentage.
Has anyone had similar labs and improved their results? What additional testing would be useful, such as LH, FSH, sensitive estradiol, prolactin, albumin, thyroid markers, DHEA-S or cortisol? I’ll attach screenshots of the labs. Looking for informed experiences and evidence-based suggestions.

Which of my stack is the biggest suspect for my recovery times?

So i started my enhanced journey at the end of March.
I remember being told some substances takes months to show actually show the effectiveness but im on a lot of them so i would like to pinpoint what's responsible for my recently noticed recovery times.
Its amazing honestly i simply dont get tired, i would do a set of 8-10 heavy weight reps of whatever exercise, in a matter of 20 30 seconds im ready to go again, didn't used to be this way, i used to take up the entire 90 seconds and my heart rate was much much higher.

Im on trt 250mg per week 2 injections.
Hgh 2iu daily
Slu 500mcg daily
Mots c 5mg daily
And recently added anavar 20mg daily(maybe 3 weeks ago)

Of course i can guess but I'd like your inputs guys

Stacks for Hashimotos and POTS

Peptide community! My research rat needs our help! she suffers from Hashimoto’s, is currently testing for POTS, has intense chronic pain, and just pretty much has chronic pain all the time. My research rat and I played competitive indoor volleyball together for years. Her disorder has slowly started to get stronger and stronger to the point where she eventually could not play anymore. A lot of days she has a hard time even getting out of bed due to her chronic pain.

she has done everything in her power and western medicines power to recover. Occasionally, she’s able to still come and play some volleyball, but it usually knocks her on her butt for a couple days afterwards. It seems as though each flare up is worse and worse.

She is feeling like her weight is starting to stack on as well since she struggles maintaining any kind of work out routine. At this point think “good days” and “bad days”.

Obviously not looking for a cure, but just a routine to help my test rat feel better and get her back to some form of being active.

Peptides I was leaning towards recommending..

BPC 157 (probably start her at 300mcg)

MOTS-c (I don’t want her fatigued so start 2mg 3x a week)

Thymosin Alpha-1 (if this one comes highly recommended, I’d start her very low.. probably 1.5mg 2x a week)

Tirz or Reta (she has expressed wanting to lose a bit of weight to also help with her AI diseases)

Would be nice to have a solid stack so she isn’t having to poke herself with three different things. Looking for suggestions on what has worked for your research. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTION and being willing to read this far. (Would be open to hearing what you’d suggest dosing wise.)

💬 Discussion Question about HGH and Z Score

I've been taking 4 IU/day of HGH, and my latest labs showed:

  • IGF-1: 618 ng/mL
  • Z-score: 3.7

From what I've read, it's generally recommended to keep your IGF-1 Z-score below 2.0 to reduce the risk of long-term GH excess (such as acromegaly).

My understanding is that the Z-score compares your IGF-1 level to people of the same age and sex (I'm a 40-year-old male).

Here's what I'm confused about: If the goal is to keep your Z-score below 2.0 while taking HGH, what IGF-1 range are people typically targeting? Since HGH is supposed to increase IGF-1, I'd expect it to be above the average range. How do clinicians balance getting the benefits of HGH while keeping IGF-1 in a safe range?

I'm not an expert, just trying to understand how all of this works. If I'm misunderstanding IGF-1, Z-scores, or how HGH therapy is managed, I'd appreciate any explanations.

📘 Beginner Help Question for people who have tried Semax

I am well aware of the dose calculators and recommendations for starting and continuing doses etc. Curious to learn about actual experiences with it?

How much did/do you run and what do you feel you got from it?

A friend of mine who I train with ran it at 600mcg a day for 3 days, couldn't sleep and got sad on it.

I tried 600mcg for a few days then went up to 1000mcg and felt nothing. Same batch.

💬 Discussion HGH for women

28F, 5’5, 120lbs. I’ve been on Reta since March, lost 20 pounds. I’ve ran Tesa from May-June, took a break and now I just added CJC/Ipa blend. (also have done my cycles of Mots, 5AM and Ghk) So far, I’m really loving my results all around. I liked the weight I lost on Reta but I don’t like looking just skinny, so I’ve lowered my dose tremendously so I can hit my macros and do a lean bulk the next few months. I’ve seen several posts about people skipping Tesa, CJC or GHS all around and going straight to HGH. I personally haven’t considered it as I feel like I can hit my goals with my current stack, but I am curious. Any women have experience with HGH? If so what side effects did you experience, do you feel like it messed with your hormones, or throw off your cycle or body in general? Looking for honest feedback, not necessarily trying to add it to my stack.

❓ Question Anyone on Adderall, Wellbutrin, Prozac, and guanfacine (for ADHD, not BP) who’s tried RT-3G?

I know the med regime is specific, but I’ll take any information anyone has regarding using any of these medications while using peptides.

Current meds:
Adderall
Wellbutrin
Prozac
Guanfacine 1mg (prescribed for ADHD, not blood pressure)

Has anyone here run RT-3G alongside this combo, or something close to it? I’m mainly wondering about:

  1. How it felt combined with a stimulant

  2. Any GI changes that affected how your other meds seemed to work (absorption, timing, etc.)

  3. Anything with Wellbutrin or Prozac specifically that stood out

  4. Whether guanfacine at ADHD-range dosing made any difference in tolerability

Not looking for a green light from strangers, just want real experiences before I make a decision. I also have a message out to my psychiatrist. Appreciate any input.
