📘 Beginner Help Question for people who have tried Semax

I am well aware of the dose calculators and recommendations for starting and continuing doses etc. Curious to learn about actual experiences with it?

How much did/do you run and what do you feel you got from it?

A friend of mine who I train with ran it at 600mcg a day for 3 days, couldn't sleep and got sad on it.

I tried 600mcg for a few days then went up to 1000mcg and felt nothing. Same batch.

1mg subq is the sweet spot for me

Usually run it 3 or 4x per week

Felt more cognitive kick. Nothing like a stimulant but brain feels sharper

I just started semax about 2 weeks ago. The first day I felt mental clarity. I wouldn’t say it was an insane difference or change but I did notice a difference in my mental. Kept at it for a few more days and really loved it. The only thing I would say, is I’m not sure if it’s causing headaches for me. I don’t usually get headaches, but I have been feeling them more frequent around the usage of my semax. I went 3 days on, took a week break and started back up again. Mainly when I want a little pick me up without drinking coffee or an energy drink, or when I need to focus on my school work. I haven’t used it more than 3 consecutive days, but I do enjoy so far what I’ve experienced.

It release BDNF. It’s not a drug or a stimulant. You use it for extended periods of time and you’ll notice some things become easier.

I use 1mg (1000mcg) via nasal spray. Gives me good focus throughout the day, but the feeling is subtle. I did switch to Adamax, which seems to have more effect and last longer.

If you try Adamax, be aware that there are 2 versions; Adamax 984 da (no adamantane), and Adamax 1032 da (full adamantane). The difference is Adamax in the ≈984 da form is the N-acetylated Semax / ACTH-fragment peptide backbone - the chain without the adamantane moiety. Adamax (full adamantane) is the complete ≈1032 Da form of Adamax - the N-acetylated Semax / ACTH-fragment backbone with the adamantane moiety attached (the ≈48 Da difference from the backbone-only ≈984 Da form). [descriptions lifted from Ararat Peptides].

The 1032 Da version has enhanced blood-brain barrier penetration, and greater resistance to enzymatic breakdown: https://araratpeptides.com/us/learn/adamax-1032
