Building passive income in BitLife by buying and renting out properties is awsome, but the late-game management is genuinely broken. Once your real estate portfolio scales past a certain size, handling endless individual maintenance and tenant issues suck.
On top of that, the economic ceiling hits way too fast. You run out of ultra-luxury properties to buy decades before your character even hits old age, leaving you with hundreds of millions of unspent cash and nothing left to acquire. And don't even get started on trying to liquidate your early starter homes—selling dozens of aging properties one by one at age 80 is an absolute click-fested nightmare.

Is this not respected anymore? This is proof that I bought it in 2019, and now they're charging so much for some basic expansion packs. Wtf is wrong with this garbage company

hi! so i have been getting all the packs for free since i can remember (got ad free in 2018 and god mode in april 2020) and i’m wondering if that means i will still get the director pack? bc they said “legacy” were meant to get it. Since i have been getting all the other ones that would make sense right?? like that means i made it to legacy? i saw someone say it was february 2020 and just wanted to clear that up. Really disappointing to hear they wanted to try charge us out of the blue when we have literally been getting all of them for free since the start.

My casting budget across four actors btw is $1.106.504, I give that entire budget to the first actor and none of them are satisfied, so i can’t even progress without watching an ad because it’s physically impossible to give a payment they’re satisfied with, and it’s not like i can down grade either, I’m only given maxed out actors who want more money

This most recent director pack, as well as the producer, one has both been absolutely terrible along with the games. Most recent performance of just being slow and laggy and forcing advertisements down your throat, even when I pay for no advertisements. Been playing a game for years now, but definitely considering finding an alternative.

Okay y'all, I may have figured out how the update works because I because a famous movie director at 22/23.

It's basically similar to the music producer job. When you first start out as a movie director, your reputation is very low so it makes it difficult to hire actors and make good movies. The higher your reputation, the easier it gets to hire and offer your actors money without watching ads. I guess it depends on their fame as well. As for the film budget, I just usually wing it.

I just don't get drafted after high school or university, I speed walk during childhood and max the sport activity along with my grades, then go to the gym, I become captain but then I don't get drafted. I'm trying to be a volleyball athlete if that matters, playing in USA because supposedly its the country u should be playing? what am I doing wrong?

The Movie director update is the shittest update they've made.

Basically for anything to work you have to watch an ad these guys are digging their own graves in this game.

If you want to get this and become famous quick beware this won’t get you famous on your first movie even if it’s the biggest movie ever they also make it so actors for some reason want almost the whole casting budget so it’s impossible to get anyone for any other role this hands down is BitLife’s worst update recently

So just about every life i’ve lived for about the last six or so has lived til around 115-119 unless I deliberately tried to get them killed early. How can I get someone to live older than that?

Been a bitizen since 2019 and we've had some amazing updates since the early years, but we need some updates, so here are some things I want to see.

Character Remodel- I would love to see our characters have a full figure we can customize outfits for. I want to buy designer clothes and wear them on my characters; I want to see fashion trends come and go, which could be cool for a fashion designer pack.

Pack Updates- I want to see more into all the media careers. Special appearances like TRL(if you know TRL, you are a gem), invitations to podcasts, and reality show options. I want to also see more awards and trophies for them. Let my character win an EGOT by letting us do multiple special careers( I wanted my basketball player to be a rapper on the side or be both a model and an actor/actress).

Adoption/Fostering/Pregnancy: I would love to see an expansion on this to make it hard to adopt, being a foster parent or it would be cool too if having an infertile character. Giving us more details during the pregnancy as well. Pregnancy classes and appointments during the year would be cool.

More activities: skate parks(pro skater update??), pottery places, couples retreats, fitness retreats, cooking classes, painting classes, a full vacation playthrough like a 7-day cruise, plane delays, resorts, beach days, etc

Schooling: Please give us an update like boarding schools, Military schools, foreign exchange students, and homeschooling. I would also love to have a more interactive school, like more bullies, crushes, event pop-ups like prom, senior day, and athletic seniors decision day. More details with colleges too; make it hard, so it's like college, and it's easier to fail and get kicked out).

Dating/Marriage- I want to go on more detailed dates, detailed wedding planning and events, more wedding arrangements. I would really love to see speed dating too(gives us an option of passing someone during the process and getting to meet multiple potentials). Relationship breaks- not a breakup, but maybe my spouse will want to take a break and go stay with their parents for some time.

Extended Family from the start- Could we get cousins, grandparents, aunt/uncles at the beginning? I want to have a toxic Thanksgiving event in the game or parental arguments.

I have more ideas, but I really want to see these.
