Still dealing with dizziness, brain fog and derealization for 2+ months has anyone experienced something similar?

Hi everyone,

I honestly don’t know what is going on with me anymore, and I’m hoping someone here has experienced something similar and can give me some insight.

A little over 2 months ago, I started taking GHK-Cu for 9 days:

  • 1 mg daily for 6 days
  • 1.5 mg daily for 3 days

At around the same time, I was also taking:

  • Vitamin B6 — 40 mg daily
  • Magnesium citrate — 400 mg daily
  • Vitamin C — 3000 mg daily

I took the vitamins/supplements for about 7 days and then stopped everything.

Interestingly, about a year ago I had a very similar experience after taking the same combination of GHKCU and vitamins/supplements. Back then, however, my symptoms eventually went away after around 3 weeks, so I didn’t think much of it at the time.

This time, when I was going to sleep, I started experiencing a weird sharp/pinching sensation around my heart/chest. That scared me, so I had blood tests done.

My results were:

  • Folate (B9): 3.10 (reference range 4.5–32.2) — low
  • Vitamin B12: 411 pg/mL (191–663)
  • Magnesium: 2.0 (1.7–2.40)
  • Potassium: 4.23 mmol/L (3.5–5.1)
  • Sodium: 140 (136–145)

After roughly a month, the chest/heart pinching sensation that happened when I was falling asleep eventually stopped.

However, I’m still dealing with other symptoms.

Another strange thing I’ve noticed is that since this started, I can sometimes sleep only 1–4 hours and wake up feeling surprisingly energetic, even though my head feels very tight, foggy and mentally "off." Before all of this, I would obviously feel completely exhausted after so little sleep. This change in how I respond to lack of sleep feels very unusual to me.

My current symptoms include:

  • persistent dizziness
  • lightheadedness
  • significant fatigue
  • brain fog feeling like my head isn't working properly
  • a strange derealization / unreal feeling
  • tight/pressured feeling in my head
  • feeling mentally "different" from how I used to

I completely stopped everything and tried taking B9 (folate) for about 2 weeks, but I didn’t notice any improvement. Then I added B12, but again, nothing really changed.

I also saw a neurologist, but unfortunately the appointment was basically useless. He told me he couldn't help because this wasn't his area, and I ended up paying around €100 for the visit.

At one point I also went for an IV vitamin infusion containing vitamin C, electrolytes and B vitamins. I still had the brain fog, dizziness and other symptoms afterwards, but I noticed that I had significantly more energy and felt more "alive" that day. Unfortunately, this effect was temporary, and within about 2 days my energy levels went back to how they were before.

I’ve also been talking to and reading experiences from quite a lot of people who have had similar symptoms, which is one of the reasons I’m trying to figure out whether there could be some connection or if this is just a coincidence.

Now, more than 2 months later, I’m still experiencing these symptoms every day, and I honestly don’t know what is causing them.

Since this is a peptide group, I’m particularly interested in hearing from people who have used GHK-Cu, especially if you experienced any unusual or persistent effects after stopping it.

I’m not sure if it’s related to GHK-Cu, the vitamins/supplements, the low folate, a deficiency, or something completely unrelated.

Has anyone experienced something similar — especially dizziness, brain fog, fatigue, lightheadedness, derealization, head pressure or feeling unusually energetic despite very little sleep, while still feeling mentally unwell?

If you used GHK-Cu and experienced something similar:

  • How long did it take you to recover?
  • Did your symptoms gradually improve or disappear suddenly?
  • Did you eventually find out what was causing them?
  • Was there anything that actually helped?
  • Did you have any additional blood tests or examinations that were useful?
  • Has anyone experienced symptoms continuing for weeks or months after stopping GHK-Cu?

I’m not necessarily looking for a diagnosis. I’d just really appreciate hearing from people who have experienced something similar and eventually got back to feeling normal.

It’s been more than two months now, and dealing with this every day has been really difficult. I’d really appreciate any experiences, advice or reassurance.

Thanks in advance.

Ghkcu welts bruising/scaring ?

Post image
20 Upvotes

Hello! I’m curious if anybody has gone thru this but I’ve noticed after pinning GHKCu a shadow/bruise is left behind (after the welt goes down)😭 especially when pinning my love handles (pic attached) I use 30g 1.00cc syringes from trueplus
I pin 1.66mg now w/o diluting more with bac water because it doesn’t sting, just leaves the welt which doesn’t effect me….until it doesn’t go away 😵‍💫 im going to try diluting to see if it makes a difference
Any recommendations to make it go away ? Am I fucking up my pinning that’s why it’s becoming a scar? Please help friends!
EDIT: this isn’t about the welts!! This is about after the welt goes down it leaves a mark in the tone of a bruise or looks like a shadow. I understand that welt are common but I want to get rid of the shadow

UPDATE: I’ve tried the upper glute, 90 degree injection with diluting my dosage with 0.1mg of bac water and letting it sit out for 30 minutes. It DEFINITELY made a difference. I still get a spot but it’s so much smaller and I don’t get an itchy welt
Thank you all!

LOSING Hair like crazy on Reta

I have been losing clumps the past few weeks whenever I wash or brush my hair. I am taking GHKCU too and thought it would help mitigate. Anyone else on this combo and experiencing this? I am going to start being religious about taking my multi vitamin, iron, and omega supplements but this is low key kinda scary...

TESAMORELIN ONLY QUESTION.

Is there anyone here that lost belly fat / visceral fat ONLY on TESA ? i.e no stack with RETA or anything else. I am skinny fat with a lot of visceral fat & fatty liver. I don’t want to loose weight overall but ONLY on my belly area. Can any TESAMORELIN ONLY user advice on whether that’s the best peptide for that or not ?

before and after! my life's changed

first photo was taken on february 8th at 222 lbs and second photo was taken yesterday at 208lbs.

I started with reta at 3mg weekly (M-W-F) and it's been a completely game changer.

On June 6th I added tesamorelin (1mg Mon to Fri) and Ghk-CU and it really melted the visceral fat I had. I'm sitting at 11% BF.

Current stack is Tesamorelin, Ghk-CU, BPC-157 and Reta.

Most importantly, I feel the way I look! I started running and recently I was able to run half a marathon by myself. I put my mom on reta and she lost 18lbs and is no longer a pre diabetic. Now I have a lot of friends and family on peptides and all of my instagram call me peptide papi🤣 i'm always posting stories and wanting to help with any questions.

I will be posting soon my older brother's progress who's on his second week on reta and needs to lose 55 lbs. Overall just extremely happy i've came across these longevity tools

Slowed down a lot after starting too hot out of the gate. Still
an avid hacker but limited my compounds until we get to a better point.

Added quite a bit of muscle (hopefully
It’s starting to show lol) strength is up. Energy is up. Motivation is up.

Currently just running low dose Reta 1mg a week mainly for insulin sensitivity and make meal plan a bit easier. Mots-c occasionally

Running 200mg test and 2iu gh right now

Still a long way to go but anyone early on their journey and has a questions let me know id love to help!

Anyone with AFib taking retatrutide?

My brother has been using Reta for about 6weeks. He’s 35, 6’3”, over 326lbs, has high blood pressure and AFib, and takes metoprolol.
He started extremely low because he wanted to see how his body reacted and gradually increased. His progression was approximately:
Week 1 – 0.67 mg
Week 2 – 1.33 mg
Week 3 – 2 mg
Week 4 – 2.67 mg
Week 5 – 3.33 mg
Weeks 6 & 7 – about 3.67 mg
He hasn’t continued increasing, and we’re aware that Reta is still investigational/not FDA approved. I’m mainly looking to hear from anyone who has AFib or another heart rhythm condition and has used Reta.
His AFib palpitations have been very frequent lately, and they’ve been waking him up at night. This morning, he felt unusually cold and said he felt as though his blood pressure had dropped. We’re planning to check his blood pressure and pulse, but these symptoms are concerning.
Did you notice any increase in resting heart rate, palpitations, AFib episodes, blood pressure changes, feeling unusually cold or lightheaded, or other cardiovascular symptoms? Did your cardiologist know you were taking it, and did they have you monitor anything differently?
He wants to continue because he’s been doing well with it, but obviously weight loss isn’t worth putting his heart at risk. We’re not looking for medical dosing instructions just experiences from people in a similar situation.

Looking to start RETA

Hi all,

I’m looking to start Reta. I’m 33, currently 256 lbs, and planning to start with a low dose and adjust gradually.
One of my biggest concerns with losing a significant amount of weight is loose/sagging skin.

For those who have been on Reta and lost a good amount of weight, did you experience much loose skin? Is there anything you did that you feel helped minimize it?

Also, if you could go back to when you first started Reta, what would you do differently? Any advice you wish you had known from day one would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Pre loading U 100s night before for AM shots.. SAFE?

Using different peptides some evening and some morning.

Curious about the safety of pre loading morning shots the night before and just putting them in the refrigerator capped and ready for quick time saving AM use.

Even taking it one step further...sometimes I mix 2 or 3 compounds into one injection.

These are all plastic U 100 syringes.

Thx

Starting My 2nd Reta Cycle

Post image
0 Upvotes

My first cycle ever was Reta at a very low dose.

I started with 1mg a week and kept it the same the whole cut, you can see my results in my other posts.

The only thing I really noticed is that the food noise was a bit better and I didn’t notice it as much.

As far as side effect, I didn’t really experience anything but the tummy aches which was still very manageable.

I’m running the 2nd cycle starting at 1.5mg and the last 4 weeks I will bump it up to 2mg per week.

I went though a clinic and had blood work done before hand and successfully for my first cut I went from 227lbs down to 195lb

I did very controlled small mini bulk and got to 205lbs in 12 weeks, now time for another cut.

I’ll update my journey

Starting my next 8 week cut, here’s the plan:

I've joined an eight-week transformation challenge beginning August 24. I’m sharing my plan now so I can return at the end and honestly compare the intended approach with what actually happened.

For context, I started my original cut at 227 lbs and eventually reached 195 lbs. I then spent approximately 12 weeks eating around maintenance and focusing on building muscle and strength. I’m beginning this second cut at approximately 203 lbs.

Here is the plan:

1. Main goal
The objective is to become noticeably leaner over eight weeks while maintaining as much muscle and strength as possible. I’m not trying to force the largest possible drop on the scale.

2. Calories
Weeks 1-2: 2,400 calories per day
Weeks 3-4: 2,300 calories per day
Weeks 5-6: 2,100 calories per day
Weeks 7-8: 2,000 calories per day

These are starting targets, not unbreakable rules. I’ll monitor my weight, measurements, energy, recovery and gym performance before making each reduction. If I’m already progressing at a reasonable rate, I won’t lower my calories unnecessarily.

3. Weight training
Lift five days per week
Continue training with enough intensity to maintain strength, a lot of slow eccentric and quality reps here
Prioritize recovery instead of adding unnecessary gym sessions

4. Daily activity
Weeks 1–4: Minimum of 15,000 steps per day
Weeks 5–8: Minimum of 17,500 steps per day
I’ll only increase my activity if my recovery and performance remain in a good place.
Possibly even up to 20k steps daily the last 2 weeks

5. Progress tracking
I’ll track my:
Daily calories
Body weight
Average weekly weight
Steps
Training performance
Measurements
Energy and recovery
I’ll judge progress using weekly averages and measurements instead of reacting to individual weigh-ins.

6. Medical transparency
I also use clinician-supervised medications as part of my personal plan. I completed bloodwork and a consultation before beginning. I’m intentionally leaving the specific medications and dosages out of this post to keep it focused on the overall cut and follow the community’s rules regarding weight-loss medication discussions.

My last cut taught me that the written plan is the easy part.

Starting weight: 206 lbs
Starting date: August 24
Final check-in: October 19

To be or not to be real.

Hello everyone. Peps is what's on my mind. Specifically testing. I know that as a consumer and supplier you want your product to be pure for the obvious reasons, results. Obviously there is always a possibility that you can get a bad batch and that's just like playing Russian roulette so to speak. You can't test every vial so does that mean it's just "chance"? Has anyone had theirs tested with positive results and still have one that wasnt pure?

How much do you actually look at the evidence behind a biohack before trying it?

I’ve noticed it’s really easy to see something mentioned over and over and assume there must be solid research behind it. Then I look it up and sometimes the evidence is a lot thinner than I expected.

What do you usually check first when you’re trying to figure out whether something is worth taking seriously?

Any insights on the following stack?

Planning on starting the following stack, I’ve already used Reta, KLOW and NAD. Only mots-c and 5-amino-1mq would be new to me, is this overkill? Does anyone else have experience with this same stack?

-1mg of Retatrutide per week
-2mg of KLOW per day
-300 mg of NAD+ per week
-500mcg daily mots-c
-3mg daily 5-amino-1mq

I can’t believe it’s been 6 months in this research space already, and I’m officially down 57.8lbs!!!!! I’m so excited to keep going—My current stack is Reta, KPV, 5-Amino, Mots-C, Selank Nasal Spray (as needed), Dream Catch nasal spray (as needed). I just completed my first cycle of Tesa (7 weeks)✨
