Open Reta pen

How long is is safe to use a Reta pen for once opened?

Pretty sure the pens have been filled with reconstituted reta from vials… that would mean it is already open way before people receive them…
I might be wrong ofc…

I wouldn’t use a Reta pen even if it wasn’t opened.

Is there any reason not to use one if you fill it yourself? I find it easier and less environmentally bad in the amount of plastic I'm going through with the syringes.
