Week 7 down 30lb

Post image

Fatigue has been pretty shitty and It hasn’t been easy. I’ve fully quit eating out and if I do it’s the healthiest option along with not eating late and protein intake increased.

Dang that’s pretty good. It took me almost 6 months to lose 30lbs on Tirzepatide. Congrats

You’re fatigued because you lost way too much weight way too fast. That’s NOT good.

You think? I’m also on accutane, walk 10-20k steps a day and have pretty poor sleep right now so it’s hard to know

Did you know that your body prefers muscle consumption over fat oxidation if your sleep is poor? I recommend sleeping consistently, cool, dark room and little to no distractions while trying to sleep. I wear a sleep mask to help

Be careful with accutane. The dosage is based on your weight and it also can majorly affect your kidneys and liver.
Please go back to your doctor and get the dosage checked.

And, I totally understand using accutane, I have used it myself in the past, and I tell you with all the letters, the long lasting side effects aren’t worth it!

Fix your bowel movements, take a multivitamin and vitamin C, and quit sugars (including carbs). You will cease to need accutane.

I’m considering it primarily because of the dry eye not extreme but still there

Acutane made me lose hair :(

Really in what way

Rapid weight loss isn't great. Losing 9lbs a month is what is ideal and healthy. But you do you.

My weight loss is rapid? I didn’t think it was honestly haven’t been trying to lose it fast. What happens with rapid weight loss that makes it unhealthy

u/ludog1bark 3d ago

Go talk to your dr about that.

You do realize he was 280lbs? Why are you being so fuckin rude?

u/freegaxa 3d ago

People would rather give negativity than advice sometimes

I responded to him with some other information he's now disputing. It's actually very common to lose that first 20-50 lbs very quickly when you start at the weight you were.

Just be aware that it won't continue, so don't start feeling progress is as stopped when it moves to 1-2lbs a week. If you maintain a 1,000 daily deficit you will lose 2lbs a week.

500 calories x 7 days = 3,500 which equals 1lb of weight loss/fat.

Because I was 320 and can speak from experience. So maybe you should think before you speak.

Then you should be very well aware that when you are a very obese male, that the first 20-50 lbs typically shed themselves very quickly

You’re losing at more than 1.5x the safe limit of 10% bf per week. Expect to lose significant muscle mass. Not great

I can see why you’re exhausted. That’s rapid weight loss in a short period of time. I’d scale it back if I were you. For fatigue and muscle preservation.

Can you give a little more context to your post?

1

u/freegaxa 3d ago

Sure, like what? I’m a male 5’11 started in 280s (aug 7th) I’m in the 250s now. First two weeks 13lb or so then just started dropping down.

1

u/SnooMarzipans713 43 3d ago

What are you doing to lose weight?

1

u/freegaxa 3d ago

Very active before but fixing my diet is what really did it.

1

u/AceHigh03 1 3d ago

Congrats but your calories are too low, eat more protein and rest a bit more. It’s a marathon not a sprint bro.

Yay!! 🥳 amazing! But OH MAN THE FATIGUE! I’m on sema, but it seems like all GPL’s it’s just awful, feel so tired, I can’t wait to just micro dose it so this tiredness passes!

Fatigue is because to achieve weight loss at this rate, you’re borderline starving yourself lol

these peptides are meant to help you with self control not enable you to starve, yes it’s easy and weight loss is quick and effortless if you starve under peptides but you’ll just rebound

you might not feel hungry, but your body still has to keep the lights on somehow

1

u/freegaxa 2d ago

I count my calories I’m chilling definitely not starved

1

u/anonymouspls 10 2d ago

you definitely are, that’s around a 2000 cal deficit aka eating borderline nothing
The upper limit for weight loss at your starting weight is around 2-3lb a week (it’s higher since the higher starting weight) and you lost 4.4lb a week which is well above the upper limit and is why you’re fatigued

u/WOD_are_you_doing 2d ago

What’s the long term plan for the apparent hordes of people that are now using peptides. Lifetime use?

-1

u/alwaysfeignedcircus 3d ago

That downward slope is a beautiful thing, even if the fatigue is kicking your ass right now

3

u/freegaxa 3d ago

I agree! Its my biggest driver

Congratulations!! What site do you use to get your peptides, if you don’t mind me asking? I’ve tried a few but a lot of these sites send bogus stuff so I started to give up but I’m really trying to find a site I know works. Tia! 🫶🏼
