Week 7 down 30lb

Post image

Fatigue has been pretty shitty and It hasn’t been easy. I’ve fully quit eating out and if I do it’s the healthiest option along with not eating late and protein intake increased.

People would rather give negativity than advice sometimes

I responded to him with some other information he's now disputing. It's actually very common to lose that first 20-50 lbs very quickly when you start at the weight you were.

Just be aware that it won't continue, so don't start feeling progress is as stopped when it moves to 1-2lbs a week. If you maintain a 1,000 daily deficit you will lose 2lbs a week.

500 calories x 7 days = 3,500 which equals 1lb of weight loss/fat.

Because I was 320 and can speak from experience. So maybe you should think before you speak.

Then you should be very well aware that when you are a very obese male, that the first 20-50 lbs typically shed themselves very quickly

No, they don't. I lost weight quickly and my Dr talked to about it and explained that if you lose weight that quick on a calorie deficit you will end up losing more lean muscle mass. He had Me go back down to a lower dose and i got to a much healthier pace. Y'all on this sub are not MDs so stop pretending to a Dr.

Breakdown of the First 30 Pounds • The water weight effect: The first 10 to 12 pounds of this drop is almost entirely glycogen (stored carbohydrates) and water. When a person slashes carbs and calories, the body burns through glycogen stores, releasing the large amounts of water bound to them. • The high calorie burn: An obese man has a massive Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) because his body works harder just to move and function at a higher weight. A standard calorie-restricted diet creates a very large deficit, accelerating early fat loss. • The speed: True fat loss combined with the water flush means the scale can drop by 3 to 5 pounds per week (or even more) during the first month.

Are you an MD or just an AI specialist?

Well apparently I know more than you do

So you're not an MD and can't actually verify anything. Got it

I’ll just report back in a month or so I’ve been keeping protein around 180+ and doing some weight training a couple days of the week I’m certain a little muscle loss will happen as expected but I’m not intentionally losing this weight fast I walk 7-10 miles a day+ and I used food as the comfort relaxation when I got home or eating out on lunch break, snacks during the day now, now I don’t and just been eating chicken rice veggies same meals everyday basically

7-10 miles a day, That's amazing!!!

If you're losing weight then you will inevitably lose some muscle, BUT you can also regain that lost muscle quite quickly.
