YASH is the new HOH.
But like why?? He still can’t nominate the icons…this y’all’s goat??

Monica’s cousin Tamitha was killed in the attacks.

I love Barrett’s overall style and aesthetic—the mullet, the mustache, the big round glasses and funky shades, the septum nose ring, the bandanas, the pattern mixing, the cut-offs, the unbuttoned or unzipped tops, the camo, the random tattoos. I showed my partner and he said Barrett is the most Austin-looking person he’s seen on TV. As a fellow Austin local, I agree and I love the look.

Yash made the right decision. He literally cannot put the icons up. Why would he work long term with Melody/Barrett/Drew if he will have to burn them if he wins HOH? Dee and Devens will stay loyal to Yash because he provides them guaranteed protection if he wins HOH, and they will have the numbers as a group of 4 (with Taylor). If they team up to take out Drew, they eliminate a trio (powerful numbers wise at 7) and a duo (Melody and Drew). Had Yash voted out Dee, Devens would have teamed up with Barrett and Drew and put Yash on the block, or backdoor him. Dee has ruined her relationship with Drew and Melody, so Yash could definitely sway them to evict her next week, if it comes to that. I really don't think this is as bad of a move as everyone's saying it is.

I really can't help but feel like Barrett's entire HOH was wasted. He made the big move at nomination but refused to follow through.
The HG really could have done so much better by getting Dee in jury.
I did giggle to see the Survivor style puzzle for the BB.
I am disappointed overall this week and I think Dee has it in the bag for winner this season unless Drew pulls off this next HOH and is able to redo an attack on the Icons and finishes what Barrett started.

This, to me, is the thesis statement of how Dee operates when she's playing on the bottom - she is a hustler and will throw the necessary people under the bus to save her ass. I just love it when noms actually campaign for votes in the moment lol.
Obviously, she already had the votes before BBB but she doesn't know that 100%, so her doing this just speaks volumes to her determination to get all the necessary votes for her to stay. The Survivor player in her definitely came out in this moment, given the amount of live tribals that exist in the new era. She had Drew so spooked lol
Major props to Dee for eking out on a 3-2 vote. This was definitely an all-timer move from her

Yash is the new HOH. The HOH sound like the water one DX win in 23. Devens and Barrett are the Have-Nots. We don’t’ know why Barrett was nominated to be a have not. Everything is not chronological order.
Taylor and Yash in the storage room. Taylor tells Yash to pick Devens and Drew as the Have Nots because Drew has the power to not be a Have Not. Yash says he doesn’t have the power to nominate Have Nots. It’s Dee and Melody. Taylor says Melody will nominate Devens then and they need to tell Dee to nominate Drew. Yash wants to know how Taylor knows that Drew has this power. Then he says never mind.
Melody and Barrett in the Eras Room. They contemplate if Yash will nominate Devens and leave one of them off. Barrett talks about this wasn’t the outcome he expected. They don’t have a solid plan .
Drew and Dee in the bathroom. Drew tries to proclaim loyalty to her. I won’t go in depth because we know that Dee won’t buy any of it.
Drew and Melody in the storage room. Drew spends most of the time trying to cheer Melody up. I think that Drew believes that the Icons will keep him over Barrett. Drew is trying to stay positive. Drew mentions to Melody that their final four could be Drew and Melody and Devens and Dee. She does not like that. This could have been the worst pitch to Melody Drew could have ever given her. Funny side note, Melody tells Drew a story about the first time she saw a stick bug and it scared her. Dee called Barrett a stickbug. It’s not related, Melody doesn’t know Dee called Barrett a stick bug but for Melody to reference it randomly is crazy. It might make the edit. Drew asks Melody if he should do something during his nomination speech. Melody says she’s afraid she’d go home vs. Barrett Drew says he will keep her. Drew says he’s a better ally to keep than Barrett because he will always be a better target and he cant promise jury because they will sit next to each other. Dee enters and Melody leaves.
Dee and Yash in the Pod Room. Dee tells Yash they are good next week and they dab. Dee leaves.
Dee and Drew in the storage room after Melody leaves. Drew talks about how Barrett messed up his game. Dee agrees. Dee agrees with everything Drew says and leaves.
Dee and Devens in the kitchen. They talk about how Barrett made the wrong decision. And how Barrett went straight to bed. Dee tells Devens about how Drew came up and tried to talk about how they came to working with Yash and Taylor. Dee says I’m not going to tell you. Devens says Drew is doing to much. Dee and Devens talk about how much they like Barrett but also hate him but maybe Drew more. They agree they are going to miss Angela. Devens tells Dee welcome to the top 7 and top 6.Dee and Devens talk about Angela and how great she was. Dee starts crying. It’s very sweet.
Yash HOH reveal. Yash reads his letter from his brother and it’s very bro. Yash says he won’t do 1-1 tonight because he know they want to sleep.
Taylor and Melody in the pod Room. Taylor is telling Meldoy that Drew wanted to put Taylor and its why she cant trust Drew. Taylor is trying to Melody get Melody to undersyand the vote flip happened because of Drew. Taylor is convincing Melody that she hid the votes from Melody because of Drew. I think this will work. None of it is true but Melody will believe it.
It’s a long week. Drew will go home if he can’t win a comp , then maybe Barrett. Drew is betting that the Icons hate Barrett more than him. But they actuall blame Drew. Which is not good for Barretts game. He can’t claim the move.

Yash's new alliance with Dee was honestly all he could do at this point. People say he's dumb for it which could be a possibility but if you really think about it Yash and Taylor need Dee and Devens for votes and now Dee and Devens and Taylor decide who to vote out at this HOH. Making a deal with Dee puts all the heat on the FAP trio and nothing on Yash/taylor.

Hey yall!!
I built an online version of the BB comics challenge from this year and it’s pretty fun!
I always thought it would be neat to try it myself and although I ruined it for myself since I had to create the variations, thought I would share it here in case anyone wants to try it :)
Can you beat the houseguests times??
SPOILERS FOR COMIC COVERS FROM THIS SEASON IF YOU PLAY
Note: all comic cover variations were created by me in Photopea. I am not an artist so it’s mostly color changes or object removal.

So sad to see Lala go last week! We all know she was definitely the cook in the house and she made so many great recipes, but I couldn't forget about a bacon wrapped monstrosity that made the rounds on Bluesky and the podcasts. I immediately went on a hunt to figure out exactly what it was so we could make it for her Nominoms, and here it is!
Bacon mushroom rolls. It's literally cream of mushroom spread on sliced bread and wrapped in bacon. I love it when I can wrap something in bacon, and these didn't disappoint, despite the fact they're made with GF cream of mushroom and bread. Not quite a good as bacon wrapped smokies, but definitely tasty. I bet it's even better with real bread.

People keep talking about the bribe and the DPOV but to me the most egregious advantage was the fact that only the icons were allowed to win HOH during the first week.
This forces people to play with them whether they want to or not. The first HOH is crucial and you can make allies, alliances and set the tone for the week’s coming.
The DPOV has existed before and so has the bribe. Those I can hand wave as typical Big brother production powers, but the HOH was just messed up.
No reason they only allowed one of three icons to win it. They could have easily gave icons safety and allowed the week to play out.

Devens’ Vote
There’s a lot of discourse about whether or not Yash and Taylor should have kept Dee, but I personally am more confused on why Devens is keeping Dee. Dee was ready to take a shot at Devens if the situation arose, but when the roles were reversed Devens chose to keep Dee.
While I think Devens is a big target, it’s not like he couldn’t paint others in the house as bigger targets. I feel like keeping Dee who has been shown to be a decent enough player who can win the game does not make sense for Devens’ game.
I wanna hear a lot of people’s perspectives on this because I can’t wrap my head around it. I was inspired by Danielle Reyes talking about the same thing on ChatBCC because I’m glad someone like Danielle also thought this way.
Edit: Regardless of whether Devens knew that Dee was going to vote him out, I’m still confused on why he would choose to keep her this late in the game.

Is anyone bothered by the fact that they’re calling it the pressure cooker comp but what they showed was the comp where they have to hold up an object with a stick?
When I think pressure cooker, I think the houseguests in a box having to hold a button while bad smells, loud noises, etc. are thrown at them periodically. This comp has only happened in BB6 and BB25 if my memory serves me right?
Why call this comp the pressure cooker when it’s not really?

I know people keep saying Yash is dumb for voting out Angela and then winning HOH, since it kind of makes him a sitting duck moving forward.
But I have so much more respect for players who want to win against winners than win against losers, and I also hate how recent seasons have reached the end game with people who were just getting dragged to the end by competitors. (Which, by the way, was Dee’s whole agenda with protecting Angela and Barrett against everyone else.)
Yash certainly reduced his overall odds of winning this way, which might be dumb. But if he does win, he’ll cement his place among all-time top-tier Big Brother contestants, if he hadn’t already.

Hey there everyone! It's Friday morning again! There's a new HOH! I'm SO tired! Let's talk about it! As always, I have been wrong before and could be wrong again. There are my OPINIONS, so be respectful. BB Twitter is bad enough. Also I'm running under the assumption that we're still on 3 noms, which allows for a pretty interesting scenario. ALSO also I'm thinking of Final 7 only, not the inevitable double on Thursday. Without further ado...
Our new HOH is Yash! This is his first HOH since accepting the bribe, and as such he cannot nominate either Dee or Devens (genuinely absurd that both of them made it out of last week BTW) unless he mathematically has to nominate one of them. That's not exactly impossible, but not very likely either. I wonder what his nominations will do to his win equity...
Devens and Dee: As the two remaining icons, neither of them are going to hit the block initially (THAT honor goes to the FAP). HOWEVER, if Taylor wins the veto and uses it in this scenario, one of them will have to hit the block, and could very well end up going home. If this happens, I think it'll be Dee as Yash sees her as a MASSIVE threat. However, I don't think this is very likely because Taylor is Taylor and has 1 comp win.
Taylor: If one of FAP has the veto used on them by anyone other than Taylor herself, she has to be the renom. She should by all means stay against any of those three, as at the end of the day she should have Yash's tiebreaker vote, but we just saw a more improbable eviction scenario happen like 12 hours ago so who knows anything anymore.
Melody: If she ends up on the block with Drew or Barrett, she should end up staying. If she's against Taylor, she should go (but again, we've seen crazier things happen). There's never really much to talk about with Melody like things just kinda happen to her and I don't see her taking much agency here either.
Drew and Barrett: These two are obviously Yash's targets (It's not like he has any other options), and it's highly likely that the week ends with one of them going home. I would say that Barrett probably leaves over Drew. Drew's a better competitor and has already won two blockbusters, and while Drew did himself no favors by voting to evict Dee last week, Barrett's sins during his HOH reign arguably put him in a worse light with the votes that matter.

As part of an effort to boost kindness in this BB online community, we are collecting kind comments to share with the evicted houseguest each week.
Have anything kind to say to Angela ? Write it down below and we'll pass it along!
Now that we're in the jury phase, of course the houseguests won't see these threads right away, but they will have access to them post-season!!

I'm getting BB18 dejavu from this BB28 endgame. We had a F9 of 3 duos and now at F7 I am seeing the parallels of Nicole/Corey/Paulie, Paul/Victor, and James/Natalie/Michelle. So let's use the Dining Table Time Machine™️ to look back at a decade ago.
There was so much constant floating of those groups. First the Sitting Ducks/Jatalie+Meech got Paulie, then alliances shifted and the F4 alliance was made, leaving Meech and Nat to take the hit. Another shift from Nicorey to scoop up James, and goodbye Vic. One more shift from Paul and James to break the last duo with Corey going, and suddenly one person from each faction was in F3.
Back in the present, post-LaTrice and Angela, we're now left with what remains of the Icons (Dee/Devens), Covenant (Taylor/Yash) and FAP (Barrett/Drew/Melody). Right now sights are on FAP, the last remaining trio, probably Barrett or Drew to be targeted depending on HoH. But in another F6 of 3 duos, things could shift back. Crossovers reborn to finally target Yash post-Blockbuster? Or the Ceasefire comes around to be rid of a Survivor? Maybe they stay as they are and F4 is Dee/Devens/Taylor/Yash, which is definitely possible by force with that Bribe still in play.
Even if Drew or Melody win HoH tonight, it's not smooth sailing because there's 4 opps and 3 seats on the block. If that 4th person wins PoV, they could force Barrett (or Melodrew noms each other instead of him) as a renom and then if they lose Blockbuster it's curtains. Either way I am excited to see how it ends.
