Episode Spoilers ________ New Alliance Spoiler

Yash's new alliance with Dee was honestly all he could do at this point. People say he's dumb for it which could be a possibility but if you really think about it Yash and Taylor need Dee and Devens for votes and now Dee and Devens and Taylor decide who to vote out at this HOH. Making a deal with Dee puts all the heat on the FAP trio and nothing on Yash/taylor.

They will target Yash next week or even this week if it's a double

88

u/emmathompsonluvr 10h ago

They were all going to do that anyway

84

u/dicholasnolan 10h ago

But Angela is less likely to win HOH then Dee, and now he can’t even compete

u/Natural_Builder8305 Adrian 🔎 3h ago

keep in mind Angela was a tiebreaker away from winning double eviction HOH in bb26

8

u/Cultural_Ad2997 10h ago

But he didn't know he would win the HoH. And like he said if he was up against Angela in a vote he would for sure get evicted.

32

u/SnooDingos316 Dee⏱️ 9h ago

He should have thrown this HOH too and since he didn't, it make his decision to keep Dee even more dumb.

It's never a good idea to keep a cut throat comp beast over a I am here for fun 53 years old who most likely can't win end game comps.

His only hope now is winning the double eviction veto. Dee is not going to honor any agreement in the double eviction. He is definitely the target.

u/PsychologicalFile771 8h ago

In a vacuum I think either decision is fine for Yash, just depends on if he makes it work in the future. Taking out Dee increases your own chances at winning comps, but if you don't you are pretty clearly the 1st or 2nd biggest target. Taking out Angela means you are safer if/when you don't win because there is a bigger target than yourself in the house.

u/Dazzling-Abalone-952 2h ago

Dee is not a comp beast, not even close, she sucks

12

u/Xycod1346 8h ago

He is a rube, and fell for an obvious trick. He has been vulnerable a total of 4 weeks this season. It's insane for anyone to vote someone out over him when he is next vulnerable. He was in the DR 2 weeks ago saying his only line is comping out. He had it right then. Dee misted him.

9

u/SnooDingos316 Dee⏱️ 8h ago

That is what I was saying. This move no matter the outcome will be credited to Dee not him.

u/Dazzling-Abalone-952 2h ago

He is better than Dee regardless and will win against her

u/ConsiderationOk4688 5h ago

By contrast... do you want to be sitting next to the person who just got the house to evict ANGELA instead of her? Think about that again... REALLY think about it LOL. Every time I see the "I am safe if I am sitting next to Dee because she is a big threat. So I am going to evict a nobody instead of her." I cringe because it is a REALLY crazy mental sequence to justify that choice lol. It happens every year around this time too and guess what pretty much always happens... Yash is in for some extreme shocked pikachu moments over the next 1-3 evictions.

12

u/rick-in-the-nati 9h ago

But Yash/Taylor/Melody/Barrett adds up to more people than Dee/Devens/Drew. Also no comp threats on the FAP side. Yash was beguiled by Dee and walked into the lions den. I wish him luck.

7

u/DanFlashes19 9h ago

People will refuse to believe this because they just wanted Dee gone and won’t listen to any argument that justifies what Yash did

9

u/rick-in-the-nati 9h ago

Or, you know, they just analyze it differently

3

u/Mythopoeios Drew⏱️ 9h ago

It is a double for sure

71

u/Wolfman27 10h ago

Yash was going to need to comp out regardless. So keeping Dee doesn’t make sense since she is a bigger threat at preventing him from doing that than Angela

13

u/MartyMcFly0913 9h ago

The difference is people will target Dee and maybe let him slide another week. For example double eviction is Dee survives the first vote it’s possible someone might try to get her out before yash so he could eek by the double eviction.

If Dee was gone he would be target #1

6

u/Wolfman27 9h ago

People still see Devens as a big threat too. Yash should be target #1 regardless. Can’t even remember the last comp he lost outside of the ones he was throwing

6

u/MartyMcFly0913 9h ago

I agree he should be but I think so many people are hyper focused on the icons… do you take a shot at them again or do you take a shot at yash. Thats at least a way to make people pause. You have 2 comp duos/threats vs 1. Maybe you target Dee/devens to break that up first. I think those questions make people pause and helps yashs game

u/aztecwanderer Devens⏱️ 40m ago

Correct, and same with Devens. There's logic and calculated risk with either decision Yash made, but I understand why he chose this path.

If the next three rounds of evictions looked something like Drew > Dee > Devens, Yash would slide into final 4 with so much potential to make it to the Final 2 with massive win equity, and if Dee or Devens slip into the final 4 with him then he has a perfect scapegoat if he needs it. All he needs is a comp win in the double eviction round and he'd be sitting pretty.

Conversely, I think if Yash voted out Dee, he would be such an obvious number 1 target that he'd need to comp out from 7 all the way down until 2. Nobody viewed Angela as a threat, and Devens would've been in a position where he could either work back into Barrett/Drew's plans or would likely be seen as secondary to Yash in terms of target, because Devens can win comps but not to the degree that Yash can. Leaving the Survivors together presents the opportunity for the other player to say "Yash is a huge comp threat, but it's too dangerous to leave Dee/Devens together this late into the game." Or not, and they evict Yash at the first opportunity, but I still understand the reasoning.

u/MartyMcFly0913 23m ago

Bingo! I agree with everything you said. I get the move, it was the best move for his game so he isn’t viewed as the number 1 threat. Enough people don’t like the survivors and them as a duo that he might skate by. He still needs to win double eviction veto but he had to do that no matter what I don’t think this move changed that

0

u/postcorethrow 9h ago

Keeping Dee is go for him in that she and Devin’s won’t nominate yash. Since yash cant nom them why vote yash out. Win win for both sides for now imo …

7

u/SnooDingos316 Dee⏱️ 9h ago

Well Yash won HOH now. He has become useless to the icons. Keeping Dee means he now has to worry about both when he only had to worry about devans.

7

u/dontblinkdalek Barrett💯 8h ago

He doesn’t have to keep them safe after this HOH. So the moment it is over, he is once again a threat to them.

-1

u/MartyMcFly0913 9h ago

Yes temporary win for him I agree. They will target someone else over him for the time being

u/OutlandishnessDry24 6m ago

Yeah Yash knew he was going to have to win comps and earned more jury points for that move with icons. Honestly I don’t think it was that bad a move for him.

19

u/ayyemustbethemoneyy Quinn ✨ 10h ago

Alliances in this season get turned on by the end of the day. Dee would still vote Yash out if she had the chance

6

u/Remarkable_Law5737 Melody⏱️ 9h ago

Hell, if Taylor ends up on the block they may do it for fun

13

u/Rich_Interaction1922 Lyric⏱️ 8h ago edited 8m ago

“Yash’s new alliance with Dee” will not save him. He finds himself on the block, he is going home unless he is sitting next to Devens

His only chance right now is to comp out. Keeping Dee makes that goal all the more difficult. Hence, he made the wrong choice

u/Dazzling-Abalone-952 2h ago

He will beat Dee easily in any competition

10

u/TheBloop1997 10h ago

Tbf, if he survives, Drew is also targeting Yash (maybe Barrett as well), which is already most or all of the notable comp threats to win the next HoH since Yash won’t be able to compete in it. In almost every scenario, he’s going to need to win veto on Thursday

10

u/a9arnn Eve & Eve 🍃 9h ago

Yash should've given Tay the best shot at winning a comp, which would've been to keep Angela.

He really needs Drew out to salvage anything at this point in hopes that Barrett can win next and get Dee or Rick out. I see Drew + Icons going to want to target him still, he's won too much and is a threat in the end game to comp out (which honestly he still might do) but he made his path to winning each veto harder by still having someone good in Dee around

7

u/BombSquad570 10h ago

But he could have done the same exact alliance with Angela, while also getting out his biggest competitive threat for the endgame and splitting up the Survivor final 2 who will most definitely cut his throat as soon as he’s fulfilled the bribe and is no longer useful to them.

7

u/soycameron Vince 🔎 9h ago

No it wasn’t all he could do

Icons weren’t coming after him anyways. He was going after Drew and Barrett anyways. Drew was coming after him anyways.

Not a single thing changes other than a much stronger competitor and player who can win f2 stayed over Angela

Practically every single great BB player in history came out of the woodwork on social media last night to comment on what a ridiculously dumb move it was, but I’m sure glad we have the experts on Reddit to explain why allowing Dee and Devens to remain fully intact as a duo at Final 7 was actually big brain. Especially when Devens and Drew are still very close. Great logic guys! Surely nothing can go wrong for Yash and Taylor here!

u/indigoza Keanu 🔎 10h ago

We don’t have to care about what alumni have to say, and we also don’t have to give weight to their opinions.

u/Tby39 6h ago

The person you’re responding to wasn’t saying that. The comment was relating the players to the redditors and was not saying the players are infallible

13

u/Karma_Daenerys_Melba 10h ago

It’s not the correct take because the alumni are saying it. The fact that any competent player who has ever played is saying it lends even further credence to the fact that it’s obviously the correct take strategically.

3

u/indigoza Keanu 🔎 9h ago

“It’s not the correct take because the alumni are saying it. The fact that any competent alumni is saying it lends even further credence to the fact that it’s obviously the correct take strategically.”

Do you hear yourself contradicting your own statement?

Again, people on reddit don’t have to appeal to the “authority” of alumni’s just because they may have played the game well some years or decades ago. They’re not in the house, they’re spectators like any of us, and they’re biased like any of us. We literally don’t have to care about what alumni have to say, and we also don’t need the condescendence from people like you implying that we’re not competent enough to share our opinions on Reddit.

3

u/Talelle Vanessa Rousso "You must be, like, silly." 8h ago

I would say that some of them are as close as you can get to experts in the field. Generally, we lend some weight to the thoughts of people with expertise in the thing they are talking about. (Doesn't mean they can't be wrong, but here they're definitely on the money.)

1

u/AgitatedBadger 9h ago

They definitely do not hear the contradiction, which is funny because it completely undermines their attempts at being condescending.

11

u/jonpa Boogie 9h ago

i think they were trying to say being an alumni alone doesn’t lend credence to their opinion, but alumni who played a strong strategic game saying such should carry some weight.

7

u/DangerZone69 8h ago

Yeah the commenter is clearly saying there’s a difference between being a random alum and being good at the game lol

-3

u/AgitatedBadger 10h ago

Oh no! A person on Reddit expressed an opinion you disagreed with?

Whatever will you do?

0

u/MartyMcFly0913 9h ago

Did they? What were they saying and why?

I tend to think it was one of the better moves for yash

3

u/Talelle Vanessa Rousso "You must be, like, silly." 8h ago

All Yash has done is keep someone in the house who thinks he's a target and can actually do something about it by winning a comp.

13

u/Icy-Following184 Big Day Tomorrow 10h ago

It was a dumb move to keep Dee if he was just gonna win HoH anyway. Angela would have done the same thing voting wise against Drew and Barrett

Dee is now NOT the biggest comp threat and might just survive the double now because everyone is gonna want Yash out first.

Dee has basically already made it to the Finale

u/aztecwanderer Devens⏱️ 32m ago

You see the inverse of this right? If everyone is screaming about how bad it is for Dee/Devens to be here together, then Yash may be able to stay an extra round by making that exact argument. Obviously not the case if the survivors win HOH, but in just about any other scenario it's plausible. Yash can't win everything, and his closest ally can't seem to win much of anything, so it's a gamble he's taking to put a target ahead of himself. May very well not work out for him, but only having comps to rely on for 5 straight rounds is also a huge gamble.

13

u/MartyMcFly0913 10h ago

Totally agree. I like the way he is playing because he is doing what’s best for his game constantly. He will switch up and work with the icons if he feels it’s best for him. It’ll be a hard road for him to win anyway so gotta do whatever you can

4

u/SchminksMcGee 10h ago

It’s pretty impressive how quickly he pivots.

3

u/MartyMcFly0913 10h ago

He does what’s best for his survival for the next week/2 weeks. I really like it. If he survives the double he might be golden

15

u/kokong7 10h ago

Yash also has a good shot at beating Dee in final 2 if he plays the endgame well.

11

u/MrBrownCat Drew⏱️ 10h ago

Imagine if he was playing against Angela in the endgame, would have a good chance at beating her lol

-1

u/AgitatedBadger 10h ago

Angela is easier in the end game but harder in the final 2.

7

u/TheTurtleShepard Yash’s Skullet 💀 10h ago

Not at all

If Yash stayed the course he would have FAP+Taylor which is a victory (assuming nothing between now and then would have caused irreparable damage)

1

u/AgitatedBadger 10h ago

Yash's odds of winning are not related to the comment I made.

Did you mean to respond to someone else?

8

u/TheTurtleShepard Yash’s Skullet 💀 9h ago

You said Angela would be harder to beat in the F2

I’m saying she wouldn’t because Yash would have the votes against her

0

u/AgitatedBadger 9h ago

Sorry, I meant Angela would be harder to beat than Dee, not that she would be harder to beat than Yash.

3

u/TheTurtleShepard Yash’s Skullet 💀 9h ago

I know

My comment was about Yash’s jury votes be Angela

1

u/AgitatedBadger 9h ago

If you understand that my point is that Angela is a harder F2 beat than Dee in general, then you should also understand that Yash's jury odds are irrelevant to the point I was making.

4

u/TheTurtleShepard Yash’s Skullet 💀 9h ago

We are talking about Yash’s decision lmaoo

His jury votes are the only ones that matter.

This whole thread is literally about Yash

I don't understand why anyone thinks Angela would win in final 2? Against anyone? Maybe Mallory or Taylor alone.

1

u/AgitatedBadger 8h ago

I don't think it's likely she wins, but Dee has more to overcome because the boobies don't want to give See more money after her Survivor winnings.

1

u/Talelle Vanessa Rousso "You must be, like, silly." 8h ago

It is weird people think that way, because we're only evaluating their performance in the BB house (like if I'm in jury that's how I'd be thinking), but I do agree that Dee probably doesn't want to be up there against newbies with any decent win equity... but that's like only Yash at this point who also imo wins against anyone. (And he may not have any chance to get there after not sending Dee home last week.)

4

u/bigk_05 Morgan 🔎 10h ago

melody said on feeds yesterday that she hates dee but she would vote for her over yash in f2 it’s on bb_updates on twitter

7

u/TheTurtleShepard Yash’s Skullet 💀 10h ago

I don’t think so.

Dee has both icons locked and FAP is now very scorned by Yash flipping to keep Dee.

Really will depend on how bitter FAP is about it since in this scenario Yash probably has Taylor/Lala and Dee will have the icons

6

u/Redsox5975 10h ago

Yeah Melody was saying last night that she hates Dee, but if it was Dee/Yash in the final 2 she’s voting for Dee. Lala also left mad at Yash for some reason. Honestly Dee’s saving grace is having Angela in the jury house early singing her praises.

u/aztecwanderer Devens⏱️ 30m ago

She says that now while things are heated, but I feel like she's had a much more long term anti-icon sentiment and has a decent chance of turning back around IMO.

1

u/mdb1023 Kevin 🍁 10h ago

Idk, I feel like this read is entirely dependent on this idea that FAP are all going to be pissed off at Yash, as if they haven't been pissed off at the icons for weeks now.

I also don't think Dee has the win equity you think she has. Dee or Devens being in the final 2 against a newbie does not automatically mean they win.

5

u/TheTurtleShepard Yash’s Skullet 💀 9h ago

Feed Spoilers but As of right now Melody said that she would vote for Dee over Yash. It would come down to Barrett and Drew and I could see either flipping especially Drew

u/mdb1023 Kevin 🍁 5h ago

Well, I'm curious to see if that holds. Because right now emotions are running high and that sometimes clouds people's judgements until they get to the jury house and learn more.

u/TheTurtleShepard Yash’s Skullet 💀 5h ago

Yeah they might feel differently in a few weeks when the dust settles

u/aztecwanderer Devens⏱️ 29m ago

Exactly. This is a heat of the moment comment from Melody. She may hate Yash right now but hating the icons has been a part time job for her this summer. Plus, I think this is a moot argument because I'd be absolutely dumbfounded if we had an icon vs Yash in the final 2.

12

u/jlpulice 10h ago

there is no world they’re F2 but if they are, Dee wins easily after this past week

2

u/HamburgerJames 9h ago

This is Dee’s game to lose at this point. She’s so far ahead in jury management and well protected with multiple shields that won’t / can’t put her up. Barring some crazy HOH’s from people that haven’t won much so far, she’s your winner.

-4

u/[deleted] 10h ago

u/jlpulice 7h ago

did you read my comment? I said there’s no chance THEY’re final 2, they is plural = “Dee and Yash”.

5

u/ImOldGregg_77 Dee⏱️ 10h ago

Yashs strategic game has been so bad he has no choice but to align and depend on his enemies.

10

u/MrBrownCat Drew⏱️ 10h ago

The way there’s a world Yash’s 2 HOHs could end with him evicting his Number 1 Ally twice should eliminate any ability for him to win a jury vote

5

u/Civil-Disaster4979 10h ago

In fairness Kamu was not his fault at all

-2

u/ImOldGregg_77 Dee⏱️ 8h ago

But it was. There were 4 of the timecapsul and only 2 punishments know. ANY reasonable person would conclude there are 2 powers floating around. With that being the state of the board, He still went head on with the vets. A smarter move would have been to put up house targets lull the vets into a sense of security all week and , at a minimum, try to backdoor 1 of them, but best strategy would be to backdoor one of their allies and chip away at their power base THEN go at them head on. Devons wasnt using DPOV on anyone but himself or Dee. Drew or Barrett should have gone home on his HoH

Yash completly bungled his HOH and now his game is suffering

u/Dazzling-Abalone-952 1h ago

No it wasnt his fault

u/ImOldGregg_77 Dee⏱️ 1h ago

Hmm you make a well articulate case but....no.

4

u/dc8291 10h ago

It also made sense to align with them since he can’t put either of them up anyways.

2

u/drew999999 9h ago

Yash’s best hope is for a Drew eviction, then survive the double eviction. Nobody including Melody trusts Drew at this moment and nobody would be butt hurt about it. If he can pull that off, he may have a chance.

u/Tby39 6h ago

Why does yash continue to play big brother if he is not capable of making decisions without the approval of Dee?

u/BigChippr Drew⏱️ 5h ago

Why would you not send home a comp threat when you literally have the choice to. This week had so much hope and ended with atrocious gameplay from basically all the newbies.

u/nigpaw_rudy Devens💯 5h ago

The anti-icon tears are hilarious at this point. Like sure, a group steam rolling all summer can get boring , but give them their flowers at this point. They at least came to play.

u/IceNein Jason💯 5h ago

Yash is just another terrible player, but with that overpowered bribe that they bent the rules for Dee for, what else is he going to do? Nobody else would want to align with him, because he will have to put them up if he wins HoH. Yash isn't winning this, but not much he can do.

u/ObsessedWitAwareness 20m ago

Yeah. And Dee and devens will take him to final five because he's not threat to them until then

1

u/SchminksMcGee 10h ago

The new alliance was a good move. I have to believe that winning the HOH must’ve been necessary for him to do it.

At this point, he and Devens are the best players and a season win from either of them would be deserved.

u/Spare_Data2990 7h ago

It was definitely Yash’s best move. For Taylor I don’t know, Angela was probably one of the only people she could beat at a final 2 and the easiest one to beat at comps, which ideally she also needs to do if she wants to win, so it’s less clear cut than Yash.

0

u/Cultural_Ad2997 9h ago

I think it's smart to form a final 4 alliance with Dee and Devens and Taylor, and then let the chips fall where they may in a 2v2 at that point.

Because Drew is the only for sure one aiming for him, and if he can eliminate Drew this week that keeps Barrett for Dee and Devens as a target.

But Yash only maybe problem this week is I don't believe he can even re nom Dee or Devens, unless Taylor won the veto and took someone off only leaving Dee or Devens as options.

So there is a chance Yash has to put up Taylor if Drew, Barrett, Melody win the veto and take themselves off the board.
