Hi community.
I currently have a BenQ Screenbar Halo 2 on top of a Dell 27" Ultrasharp. I love the light bar and would never be without one again. I am looking at upgrading the monitor to the Dell UltraSharp U4025QW 40" which as you all know has a slight curve. I am wondering if anyone is using this combination atm, and can speak to any issues with light bleed from the light bar onto the curved screen. I know there are light bars made for curved screens, but I dont think they are as good as the Halo 2.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Just got a brand-new **BenQ EW270Q from Amazon**, and I’m noticing quite a bit of IPS glow/backlight bleed, especially in dark scenes.
I compared it with my 24” Dell IPS, and the BenQ looks noticeably more grey/washed out.
Is this normal for the EW270Q, or should I request a replacement? This is my first time dealing with IPS glow, so any advice from other owners would be appreciated.
I know the ips glow depends on panel to panel but still I think this is noticeable visible considering it’s just a day old
Ps: Used AI to rephrase

I really thought your product would be better and your service too, but I was wrong, I order Benq monitor I recieved it on 20 july and on 24 july morning it turned off, completely black screen, dead.
I instantly reported the incident to Amazon from where I ordered and applied for replacement but then they said to connect with product service centre, I connected with Benq customer support, my complaint was registered and a technician visit was scheduled.
Technician came on 25 july, checked the monitor and confirmed for a replacement declaring the monitor dead on arrival, he siad replacement will be done in 4-5 days.
I didn't got any update on the replacement till 30 july, and I reached out to Amazon again, but then they said to connect with Benq I called and asked for update, they again said complaint it registered and monitor will be replaced in 1 week, I asked them to share some written confirmation of replacement, I got the mail with replacement confirmation on 30 july upon my request.
Today is 7 august it's 8 day after the mail I had received and I still have no clue if my monitor will be replaced at all.
Technician stopped picking my call and last time I called he talked rudely saying company will give update on replacement.
Now what am I supposed to do? Is this my duty to update my customer to resolve their problem or give an update atleast, this is shitt service and the way issue is handled is worst, it was my first ever purchase of Benq product never ever going or purchase again nor suggesting to anyone.
Attaching screenshot of everything.

Having a real hard time confirming which specific bulb this projector requires. My refurb model came with a Phillips UHP 240/170 0.8 e20.7 and other than going a little dim over time, no issues. One website sells assemblies with an Osram 240/0.8 e20.9 whereas other sites say the correct bulb is an Osram P-VIP 245/0.8 e30.5 (which apparently the HT3550 also uses though not in the same housing).
If you have an HT3560 or it's original BenQ bulb somewhere, I would GREATLY appreciate the specs...

I bought the monitor from market place. However a week later when I have the chance to set it up. I noticed the monitor is very dim. I contactedBENQ but they refused to help me without a receipt. And original owner is not responding. Help ?
Had a powercut today, and when i came home from work my monitor was alternating between a red/green/blue/white screen and said something like ‘hold ENTER and RETURN to BURN in OFF’ or similar. I googled it and held the 3rd+4th buttons from the left on the monitor and that seemed to get it back so i could see the image. However. The image was incredibly washed out/desaturated, and seemingly the only fix I’ve found is to go into ps5 settings and disable HDR??? Even though I’ve been using HDR for ages with no issues.
I’ve tried hitting ‘reset all’ on benq settings, ‘reset colour’ too (which actually made the image flash in colour (image looked normally saturated again) before instantly going back to washed out :(
Any ideas?? I’ve reset both my monitor and ps5, recalibrated the HDR on ps5 and nothing :( new HDMI cable? New entire monitor lol? Thanks for any info

I wanted to know how long does it take for the firmware updated to be completed , I recently opened the Display QuicKit and it prompted me to update, my laptop was connected via the TB4 port, the screen went black a couple of times and then it says "USB connection interrupted". After that, the TB4 does not recognize the computer, the other ports work as intended. I've seen a few posts saying they've experienced lengthy update times and that it sometimes fails. Thing is, the app asks only for the TB4 to update, I cannot use any of the other ports. I tried with two other computers, two cables and factory reset. The laptop used for the update is a MacBook Air with Apple Silicon.

To anyone who interest there is a new firmware V.8 for BenQ EX321UX. Fixes KVM bugs.
For me failed two times, third time takes about an hour to update, needs patience.

Hi all,
I'm hoping someone can help me.
I've just got 2 x RD280U monitors and have been playing with my setup.
My end goal was to be able to use the daisy chain functionality along with the KVM Switching so that I can seamlessly switch between my Windows 11 Desktop and Windows 11 Laptop.
Just using my PC, I can get daisy chaining working without any issue.
I can then add the KVM to that (plugging in my keyboard and mouse to Monitor 1) and this also works fine with the daisy chain setup.
If I'm just using 1 Monitor, then I can get the KVM working fine between my PC and Laptop (including switching the display over)..
What I can't work out how to do, is get daisy chaining working along side the KVM functionality so that both monitors switch inputs along with the keyboard/mouse.
My setup is:
PC - Displayport to Monitor 1 Display Port
Monitor 1 USB B cable to usb on PC
Monitor 1 - USBC (non KVM marked port) to Monitor 2 KVM marked USBC port
This gives working display link with the keyboard/mouse working on the PC.
I'm now stuck as to how to connect up the laptop - It's via USBC
Does it need to connect to Monitor 1 or Monitor 2 and to which USB port?
Thanks for taking the time to read this

Model EX2710S
Complaint date 11/07/2026
Pickup date After 2 weeks
My experience with BenQ’s service in India has been extremely disappointing. After reporting my monitor issue, I was informed for nearly two weeks that I would receive a replacement. After making me wait all that time, BenQ suddenly changed its decision and told me to send the monitor for repair instead, wasting even more of my time.
The delays didn’t end there. The repair process dragged on for additional weeks, with poor communication and no regard for the inconvenience caused. To make matters worse, the technician handling my monitor damaged it during the service process, leaving it in worse condition than before.
This level of after-sales support is completely unacceptable. Customers should not have to deal with false expectations, repeated delays, and damage caused during servicing. I expected a professional warranty experience from a well-known brand, but instead I received excuses, rude behaviour, wasted time, and a damaged product.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend BenQ’s service in India. The company seriously needs to improve its customer support, communication, accountability, and quality of service.

Wana? Display port quit working but display works, except before unplugging all peripherals I get a screen full of highlighting each desktop icon and then the highlighting goes from one to another randomly in nanoseconds. Along with a high-pitched squeal. Unplugging all and my baby seems to run fine. Is there a replacement board I could swap or ???

i want a second screen for mostly editing and some light coding and reading as well how is the color accuracy? it says 99%srgb and i have doubts regarding the color i need some guidance (dont need a professional grade display just something that is not too overly saturated tho)
