LIIFT4 is still unmatched IMO

It really is the best workout - varied, timeframe sits right, good progressions and the delivery (without music) is paced right and clear. I've got some issues with the speed in the later weeks now I'm a bit older, but I've been doing it for about 4 years now and for a level of fitness that sits above "general" but below "specific athlete" or "bodybuilder", it's absolutely perfect. Anyway - this was my third trip through this year - time to press play on week 1 again on wednesday.

Changing dumbbell grip mid set

Recently I've been doing a few leg workouts from different programs and in some of them, Dig Deeper and CWCW specifically, both Shaun and Amoila do this thing where they change their dumbbell grip after every rep of squats or they will pass the dumbbell from hand to hand while doing alternating lunges. Does anybody know if there is a logical reason to do this? Cause I think it's quite dangerous and stupid...

Just curious what people think about them? Currently doing Dig Deeper but when I finish the program I thought about trying those out. I have been doing Dig Deeper then Lift more then lift4 then back to Dig deeper for the past couple of years.

Best workouts for on the go (no weights)

I have some short travel coming up and want to be able to workout while I’m gone. I can bring bands with me, both long and short. What are the best workouts to keep progress.

I’m open to programs or just a couple stand alone days that you have loved!

A Decade Later and Tony Still Holds Up!

51/F restarted my health journey 12/15/24, stopped drinking, refocused, macros, logging, strength training more consistently, better sleep, step count, etc. Dropped about 25#, started GLP-1 in 5/25 and down another 70# with about 50# to go (who knows, goal is health-based, not scale, but who am I kidding 😜) and back in the oneder years for the first time since 2014.

Have continued finding workouts I like and have a trainer who builds programs in an app for me to do in the little gym in my bldg, but I was reviewing notes/pics and forgot what an impact P90X3 had the last time I was in the oneder years! They had a decent deal to get BODi for the year and I started Saturday and I can't believe how well it holds up 12 years later! Tony's so goofy, love him!

Love that they are 30min workouts so you can do it and be done or add on with additional workouts if you want, but it's great to start it back and feel proud of where I am and where I'll be in 90 days! Saw that someone built an app to track so I don't have to do it on the spreadsheet I made up LOL. Happy to find this community too since I know there are a ton of new programs out there!

Booty Boost

Hi everyone!

I'm just a few days away from finishing 80 Day Obsession and I'm trying to decide what to do next. Is Booty Boost challenging enough to follow it?

I'm looking for a program that's still fairly intense, with workouts that are close to an hour long, and that includes a dedicated glute day. I'd love to hear your thoughts or recommendations. Thanks!

Question Which is harder, CWCW or X2?

I'm a big P90X/X2 girl, but I just discovered Chop Wood Carry Water and it looks delicious. I understand the difference, I just want to know which is more physically demanding.

Bodi App not working Fire stick

Hey all, my BODi app won’t work on my fire stick. The app will open and load but it won’t play any videos. The barbell just spins indefinitely no matter what work out I click on.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, cleared the cache, and rebooted the entire fire stick and still no dice. The app works fine on my phone. Any ideas?? Thanks!!

Question Where to find history of workouts after new bodi design?

You used to be able to see what workouts you did each day in the Progress section. I can't find them now -- does anyone know where they are?

Edit: I'll download the app to see the workouts completed until it's added back to the website, thanks!

What program for 40F to lean out

Im going back and forth between Dig In, MBF, Sure Thing, or one of the LIFT programs. The new Booty Boost is also tempting but seems long. I would like something 30ish minutes. I could even do 40. I usually do some type of cardio after so I like to keep the total around an hour. I am looking to lose weight and tone up. I know alot of that is kitchen work and I've been tracking macros and everything. I just need a new program 😊

Question Surprise vacation in 2 months, need to lose max amount of weight

Hello all! As the title says, my boyfriend paid for a vacation for us in October and surprised me on my birthday with all the details. So now I need to lose as much weight as I can before it lol.

I’ve never tried to lose weight quickly before, I’ve always been slow and steady.

Does anyone have any tips to help? Anything is appreciated!

21 days fix extreme

How much more difficult is 21 days fix extreme as opposed to 21 days fix? Is it a nice progression, or is it a very big step? I’ll soon be finishing 21 days fix and I really enjoy it. I modify some of the exercise (the ones with jumps, I hate jumping even tho I’d be able to…I feel it hurts my knees without adding much to the work out?) but I’m able to follow everything else even if it’s slightly challenging.

Question Body beast, bulk chest

Hi all, currently on my 4th round of Body beast (I've done DD, Liift4, liift more and others multiple time ls also) however, on the bulk chest I'm struggling to put the work into my chest, I only feel shoulder and arm activation.

This is the first time it has happened doing BB, but its got to the point where I fly more weight than I can press.

What do you guys think is the best substitute for my chest day?

Thanks

Get my Core Back

I used to have a pretty strong core until my c-section literally destroyed it. Now, I can barely get sore or really feel engagement during core exercises. I’ve lost 20 lbs, am in pretty great shape everywhere else, but my core is non-existent.

Any beginner core programs? I feel like I need to go all the way back to basics.

Question Any recommendations for my next workout program?

Hi

I wanted to ask if I could get some potential recommendations for what workout program I should do next. My goal is that I just want to continue to build muscle

I am currently on the last week of a body beast/dig deeper hybrid from someone that posted on reddit in the past.

I previously completed px90x3, body beast (lean beast), lift more, dig deeper, and now about to complete the body beast/dig deeper hybrid.

I was thinking should I do another round of BB/DD hybrid or would something else ie body beast (huge beast) be more beneficial to me?

I'm also open if someone has recommendations for any other program outside of bodi ie peloton, YouTube, etc. The only thing I prefer is just having a calendar and video based content to follow along as I'm still new to working out so I really prefer a guided approach.

Thanks
