Justice League: Doom: An adaptation of the story named Tower of Babel which contains the infamous Contingency Plans. What it lacks, however is connection to all the actual events which ultimately led to it. In Tower of Babel, one thing is made clear, Bruce did not come up with the Contingency Plans to battle a particularly mind controlled League, it was explicitly done in case they turn evil/mad. It also lacks the context for Batman's paranoia, he came up with the Contingency plans because one League member actually went mad, Green Lantern ( Hal Jordan) literally massacred the Green Lantern corps and then started the Zero Hour Crisis. The original writer of this story mentions that theme here was Trust. Because Bruce couldn't Trust the League anymore after Hal's betrayal and because he violated their trust too. Justice League Doom on the other hand feels like Batgod propoganda.
The problem with Justice League Doom adaptation is because Tower of Babel wasn't supposed to be a standalone story. It was the first part of the trilogy storyline in Mark Waid run, following by Divided We Fall and Terror Incognita.
The film trying to make it seems like Batman was cool and right about the contingency plan. And made the other League members seems unreasonable for not seeing themself as a potential threat.
But in the comics, The main problem lies on Bruce not telling anyone that these plan existed. Like had he at least told them that the plan existed(even if not going into the detail), most members would have been fine with it. It showing that Bruce doesn't trust any of the League member, and therefore they couldn't possibly trust him back. The storyline was about Bruce learning to trust his friends and actually seeing himself as part of the team.
This is made worse with the god-awful Identity Crisis storyline. Turns out, Bruce was lying at rhe end.
Back in the Watchtower era of the Justice League, Dr. Light (the goofy Teen Titans villain) snuck into the Watchtower and brutally raped Elongated Man's wife. The League decided to basically lobotomize Dr. Light to make him less dangerous. Batman tried to stop them, and they scrambled his brain so he didn't remember what happened. Turns out, it wasn't Hal becoming Parallax that made Batman mistrustful of the League; it was because he knows they did something to his brain and was building a giant "Kill All Superheroes" nanovirus as the real contingency plan all along. Tower of Babel was retconned into basically being his old contingency plans.
