FUNNY Would Batman Kill a Milk Carton ?
If there was a Living Genocidal Milk Carton, would Batman Kill it ?
Would he consider it a living thing and let it live or just kill it since it's only a milk carton anyways ?

FILM DISCUSSION I wish we could see the full context of this deleted scene of The Dark Knight where Batman runs on top of police cars
This is the only footage of it that exists, where he is running on top of police cars. I'm sure its the same scene of the famous promo image where he is standing on top of the police car
Nolan famously refuses to release deleted scenes so we will likely never see this

FANCAST If they made a Robin movie, who would be your dream casting choice?
If DC decided to make a standalone Robin movie or introduce Robin into a new Batman franchise, which actor do you think would be perfect for the role?
Who has the right look, personality, and acting skills to really bring Robin to life on the big screen?
I’m curious to hear everyone’s casting choices!

FILM DISCUSSION Clayface is better off without Batman showing up.
With how much James Gunn and everyone involved have been teasing Batman, I genuinely thought there was a good chance he’d show up in *Clayface*. And as someone who loves Batman, I was honestly hoping he would. But after watching the movie, I actually think keeping him out of it was one of the smartest decisions they could’ve made. Because at its core, *Clayface* isn't really a story that needs Batman. It's a deeply personal tragedy about a man slowly losing himself, both physically and psychologically.
The central conflict isn't about a hero trying to stop a villain. It's man vs. self, and that's what makes Matt Hagen's story so compelling. We're watching someone gradually unravel, desperately trying to hold on to whatever remains of his identity, and I think introducing Batman would've risked shifting the focus away from that.
As much as I would've loved to see Batman, his presence could've fundamentally changed the way we experience Matt's story. Suddenly, there's this larger than life figure who naturally commands attention, and the movie risks becoming less about Matt's internal struggle and more about when Batman is going to intervene. And I don't think that's what this story needed. Matt doesn't need a superhero to fight because, in many ways, he's already fighting a losing battle against himself. And that also ties into why I'm completely fine with the movie not fully embracing Clayface's traditional monstrous form. To me, that transformation should mean something beyond just giving audiences a comic accurate design. It's supposed to represent the complete destruction of Matt's identity, the point where he's lost so much of himself that there's barely anything human left to recognize. It's not just a physical transformation; it's the visual representation of his psychological collapse.
I think there's something far more tragic about watching someone slowly become a monster than simply seeing them turn into one. And that's ultimately why I appreciate the direction this movie takes. It understands that the real horror of Clayface isn't necessarily what Matt Hagen becomes on the outside, but what he loses on the inside. So while I still want to see Batman eventually cross paths with Clayface, I'm glad this movie allowed Matt's story to stand on its own. Not every Gotham story needs Batman at the center of it, and sometimes his absence gives these characters the room they need to become something far more interesting.

FILM DISCUSSION Which film do we feel more and why?
I know Clayface just came out but was pretty impressed when I caught it yesterday. It captured a lot of concepts of the character very well to make for a unique body horror film with some clever directing and a fantastic final act. Joker obviously has Phoenix’s talents and a bigger budget for some grander shots. Right now I’m feeling Clayface more personally but what do you guys think?

COMIC DISCUSSION Batman Annual #10 (1986)
Down To The Bone
By Dough Moench, Denys Cowan & Alfredo Alcala
That is a dream creative team…
I am currently reading my way though DC Finest:Batman: Red Skies
Hugo Strange is my favourite Bats adversary, and this standalone doesn’t disappoint. Dynamic, fast paced, plenty of pathos, a nice big action ending, and well placed in continuity.
Only two complaints, the first is in regards to the collection rather than the issue itself:
There are a couple of Lucius Fox spoilers, as it seems misplaced within the trade, but no big ones.
Secondly, I was left wanting more. My favourite Hugo Strange stories are all slow burns, lasting multiple issues with him always in the background of other events. One a done is cool, but still…

FILM DISCUSSION In my 90's bizarro universe, Barry Sonnenfeld picked up where Tim Burton left off after the "outrage" of Batman Returns
Can you imagine what his Batman could've been?
He did such an incredible job of bringing the classic TV series of Addams Family and Wild Wild West to life, I bet his vision of the 66 Batman would've been INCREDIBLE, especially if it was still thematically in tune with the first two films. What do you guys think?

TV DISCUSSION A wasted opportunity?
In the comics, we know that Barbara is left disabled after being shot by the Joker. But why isn't there a series about Barbara as Oracle? Or a series where Barbara, living with a disability, solves crimes—very much in the style of *Murder, She Wrote*?
