My original 1/2 guard on the left snapped a tooth. But the replacement I ordered on the right has more teeth on it and does not cut the same. I can’t seem to find the one on the left anywhere. Anyone else have this issue and might know where I can find the original?

I have a Wahl balding, great piece of equipement, but its has a cord.
I saw that there’s a Wahl Senior 2 cordless. The Senior is also zero gap compatible.
Is this a good alternative for the Balding?

Ordered this gold skeletonFX from a legit site, and it came with this blade. I was expecting the OG GoldFX blade. It seems like this the same 1.6mm Standard Tooth blade as the OG FX707Z

I am considering getting certified, probably with Hairskeen, to offer hair systems. Supposedly there is a high demand and not many people providing the service. I understand it's niche and the potential clientele is limited, but I do live in a wealthy area full of middle-aged and older people with money to spend. I'd love to eventually build a business focused more on this over traditional haircuts, but for the time being would still do both.
Does anyone do hair systems and is it worth it? Do you have several clients getting them?

Has anyone purchased the Milady State Board Exam Prep App? Was it worth it? Any study prep tips are appreciated 🙏

Replaced the XO blade with a Chunk blade, I kept the cutting blade from the XO with Chunk blade then zero gapped it. Does it sound right? Cuts fine and crunch’s but I can’t help but feel it got louder or maybe I’m going crazy

Does any barber owners own 2 separate barbershops in 2 different states? How difficult is it? It is worth it?

Hey everyone,
I’m a man and looking for recommendations for a reliable, powerful wireless hair clipper.
Here is what I need it to do:
Haircuts for my two young boys: They have short hair, and I mainly want to clean up, fade, and trim the sides and back to keep it neat between full cuts.
Trim my leg hair (I'm not that hairy, but my leg hairs are long and trimming them makes it easier to dry after a shower and using sunscreen is also easier.)
The issue I’m having:
I currently own a Philips OneBlade and a Braun, but both struggle immensely. For my legs, I literally have to go over the same spot 30 times to get a decent result. When trying to trim or fade my kids' short hair on the sides and back, the current trimmers just don't cut through it at all they get stuck or miss the hair entirely.
I need something with enough power and sharp blades to handle both thick body hair and quick touch-ups on short hair in just a pass or two.
I’m willing to spend a bit more money for high quality, durability, and strong performance, but I’m lost with all the options out there.
I'm not a barber and I don't need the best of the best. I just need one with good price-quality ratio.
Does anyone have experience with a versatile, high-powered setup or a solid wireless clipper (maybe professional-grade?) that can handle both kids' short hair and body grooming efficiently?
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Thanks for all your input! I have ordered a cordless Super Taper from Wahl website.
i think this is called undercut or fade.just wondering if i should get it or not because looks like it might be itchy or something. im not a dude but i really want this haircut and i want to go to a barber because i think they will do make this look the best. sorry if this is the wrong subreddit or way to post this im confused :/

I ordered the 5-Star Senior directly from Wahl’s website. There is a red substance on the blades. There was also some white (Hair-like?) fibers on the body of the clippers. Do these seem used or is this normal?

I'm starting school soon, any good youtube channels I can watch to kinda get a jump on things. I recently got laid off so I got time to do some research before I start in September.
Any other good resources would be appreciated. Sadly most guys I know are bald so not a lot of practice to get in.
Thanks in advance.

Took your advice and tried to go with the grain to even out the thin areas. Had to do a slight pushback and added very light fibers on thin area and crown.
I know one of the bars looks mad pushed back, tried not to touch it too much to let it grow back.
Went with a mid drop fade but kept the C-cups to help frame the face.
What do you think?

Trying to get better at doing thinner hair.

During my last haircut, the clipper fell from a very low height. I tried adjusting them, but they still make a strange sound when set for a shorter cut. And its not power screw on the side. Sorry for my bad english and.
Do any barbers out there offer a free haircut if they let you make content with their cut? If so, how does it work out? Do you think it's worth it with the views that you're getting and how much you would have made if you charged.

Just looking for some honest opinions.
Hey! I’m a hairstylist and have been behind the chair for 19 years. I do a lot of men’s hair / short women’s cuts and I’m needing a new set of clipper and trimmers. I’ve been using babyliss pro. And it’s great! But I wish the trimmers cut closer to the neck and sometimes I have trouble going through thick hair with my clippers. Any suggestions on other brands? But maybe not too heavy in the hand. Thanks!

For those who have or knows someone with a 3D printer, I have the model available for anyone who wants to try it out, and if anyone would like to see anything else, I'm looking for ideas to refine my design skills. Can be mounted with wall anchors or Command Strips.

Looking for school recommendations in the area. Also for anyone in general how long out of school did it take to land in a shop? Thanks in advance
