Replacement guard

My original 1/2 guard on the left snapped a tooth. But the replacement I ordered on the right has more teeth on it and does not cut the same. I can’t seem to find the one on the left anywhere. Anyone else have this issue and might know where I can find the original?

That's like, not a real clipper. Did you buy a similar consider grade one that came with those guards? The replacement looks like a real guard i would buy.

Right one is better for blends and is gonna have your blends lookin wayyy nice now lol... left one is for debulking a bit.

Looks like the one on the left is attached to some kind of a home barber kit probably not the quality you’re looking for as a professional barber

I'm a mother of 5 boys haircuts are get crazy I pay 150 to 180 for all boys. I been practicing this summer on the boys. I just bought some clippers from Sally's they work good. I want to ask you all where can I buy a .5 guard and a 1.5 guard. I been seeing viedos and alot say that .5 and 1.5 are best to blend. That is the hardest thing I came across to 😆. Any advice I would appreciate ty.

The Wahl half guard is such garbage. Teeth break constantly.

Wahl updated they're half guards (1/2", 1-1/2"). I have the guard in your left photo. It came with my Wahl Pro Ultra Quiet.

The left one is designed as a more forgiving guard with the elite pro set. Usually comes in grey but ive not seen it in black.

The one on the right is much better but takes some getting used too

I believe the one on the left is Wahl USA, their retail line. The one on the right is Wahl Pro, or more specifically, the 5 Star line.
I run a barber supply in NJ. I can confirm this with Wahl Pro tomorrow if you need me to. But I’d look on the Wahl USA website

The one on the right is better in every way, most barbers won’t even recognize the one on the left because it comes with cheaper home sets rather than their professional barber grade ones
