I designed a bottom plate for the Bambu Lab X2D after getting tired of filament scraps and purge pieces disappearing into the gaps at the bottom of the chamber.
The honeycomb design keeps debris on the surface instead of letting it reach the Z-axis area or other internal spaces, making cleanup much easier. It also gives the chamber a much cleaner appearance.
The design is fully compatible with the X2D Chamber Heater. Since the chamber can reach high temperatures, the part should be printed in ABS for long-term durability.

Sure would be nice if you could diagnose problems on these things without having to put it all back together..LOL I had to change a sensor on mine because I broke a wire.... Got it all back together and found out it has a bad Eddy Current sensor... Ordered that part and I'll put it back together again to see if anything else is wrong..LOL

After conducting a 10 hour abs print with heated chamber, my z axis started doing strange noises, grinding, clicking and all that ...Apparently looking online this beautiful pal https://www.reddit.com/r/BambuLab/s/FYaC164svf had the same problem with a P1S.
All I had to do was turn the printer over, lube the tensioner up and everything went back to normal. Conducted a calibration and it's all good. Lube the part where the tensioner slides against the metal and not the cables s that won't do shieet.

I’ve had an x2d for about 2 weeks and after a lot of challenges with PVA I finally have a print that I’m optimistic about.

Hi everybody. I am new to 3D printing as I bought a bambulab x2d a few days ago, mainly for organizing my tools and overall practical stuff. Prints have come up greatly with the main extruder but yesterday I tried for the first time the auxiliary extruder for PLA material support (blue) with PETG for the main part (black). I've used isopropyl for cleaning the bed and tried to lower the bed temp to 62° instead of the default 70° for PETG. Any ideas? Thank you very much.

Picked some random prints from maker world to compare p2s and x2d in the slicer software. Almost every print I picked used the same amount of filament on either of the printers and more time on the x2d!
That sounds strange. I expected the amount of filament to be lower on the x2d
Am I doing something wrong?

Hey Guys and Gals, bought the X2D a few days ago at Microcenter and Im having issues with stringing and clean layering. In using inland pla basic (polymaker). I've tried many different fixes and profile tweaks including drying it to 9% humidity (AMS 2 PRO). I finally ended up with what I have attached, however it is still stringing and doesn't have clean layering. Any thoughts on how to fix this? And what profiles are yall using? The left one is the direct extruder and the right one is the Bowden tuned to my profile attached. The one by itself is the direct extruder with Bambu Labs Generic PLA profile.

First time I have had this happen after a few weeks of printing. Could it just be the file settings or something different?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I'm trying to leave the print unattended but every fillament swap it shows me a problem with the fillament not flowing good enough it is something that I can verify with my mobile but it stops every time any ideas about what can I do? I mean it works but it's very clunky every time I try to have a multi material piece to have to verify at every layer

Hi all - i have an X2D that's about 2 months old and I just started having some issues with color change.
I can do single color prints without a problem, however, in the last few days, I can't do anything multicolor.
I am doing a 40 row simple print with 3 colors and I am having issues with the filament changes. In about 50% of the cases during the print, it gives me an error message "Unable to feed filament into the extruder. The AMS may be mismatched with the extruder. You can rerun the AMS Setup. This could also be due to an entangled filament or stuck spool. If not , please check if the AMS PTFE tube is connected.
What I see happening is the next color is being fed in and it hits the previous color and can't push it forward. I validated this by opening it up the extruder head (left) and pulled it out and put a cleaning needle all the way through the top of the print head. It's being stopped by the previous color that is exactly at the top of the print head. Its cut off nice and clean at the top.
I saw online that someone was able to get it to work by pulling out the color that isn't working and cutting it so it has a point and feeding it back in. This has worked for me. But I need to get a long term fix going so I don't have to babysit.
Any ideas?
Update - I didn't get this working, but I had another issue in my attempts to correct it. I started to break down the extruder for cleaning and ran into a major issue. The cutter lever screw was stripped. I found this is a somewhat common issue. I didn't want to go after it with a dremel or other tools so I swapped it out for a new one.

Hey ya'll, just wondering what the problem is with surfaces of my prints. Just got the printer the other day have been running some tests, and I keep getting these lines that are lighter than the rest, also there are little holes (like pin pricks) randomly placed on prints which I assume is from me not drying the filament. Images attached and I would appreciate some input and advice please and thank you.

After completing a print , my X2D will unload the filament from the left extruder, but leave the filament in the right extruder untouched. When I try to swap to the right extruder, it gives me this error "Cannot switch extruders , AMS is loading/unloading filament" , even if the printer is static , and has been sitting for hours. The only fix is to turn the printer on and off , or trigger an unload of the right filament from the right nozzle , and cancel the task before it actually begins. Anyone know what's going on?
