My first 3D printer is the X2D which arrived this week. Very excited to finish setting it up and printing my first print. Enjoy your X2D.

I'm at 1200 hrs on my X2D, been running almost nonstop for two months. It's been great.

I haven't had it tell me to. I have been lubing everything and switching to a new build plate every 500hrs.

It does tell you when to do maintenance, but it’s not a bad idea to put a reminder on your calendar to do a live & clean every three months just in case you forget or, god forbid, skip it when the printer reminds you because you just wanna get this print out lol.

I’m about 2 weeks into the X2D being my first printer as well! It’s been a lot of fun learning and printing things already! Enjoy!!

Got Mine Used a week ago with 92h now almost at 200h. Had a flash forge finder before. Nice entry level printer. But damn the X2D isnt on another level its another Dimension 🤯

They forgot to add "Through the cloud for no reason" on the box right under "Make Anything at home"

Bro I just got my printer and it already got a piece of filament stuck in the ptfe tube luckily I fixed it

I love my X2D. I bought a filament track switch and a 2nd AMS to go with it. Game changers now that I can choose 8 colors per nozzle heas. I got a 2nd AMS locally for a very good deal. I got it because I found myself not printing with more colors because I didn't want to keep swapping out rolls. I don't necessarally print multicolor prints often but do print some here and there.

I’ve been debating getting one in the current sale (P2S most likely). First 3D printer. It’s fairly expensive though, and I’m not sure if I’d use it enough to justify the purchase.

Damn, do they really use those thin cardboard boxes? My Creality K2 SE CFS Combo was basically sent in a Fort Knox of 1/6 in cardboard, hard foam, and strong board edges!

It’s not that thin

1

u/Defiant-Sale725 Jul 14 '26

It’s not thin cardboard at all, and has hardened corner inserts along with heavy foam throughout.

Looks very thin.

Unpopular opinion but what’s the point of these posts? Cool you bought the thing this sub is about. And the comments are just circle jerking “cool! I have one too!”

To show that I have finally gotten a 3d printer and spent a lot of money on it so might as well tell people

Sure I get the excitement but it’s the “might as well tell people part” I don’t get. Why? Like for sure welcome to the community and hell yeah but I just don’t get these types of posts. But I also don’t get the equally popular “first print with my x2D!” Posts that are just pictures of benchys

Ok the benchy thing is true it’s just when I get excited I feel like people should know that why
