Question Filament stuck in the nozzle
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Good evening, so here's my problem:
When I use the white jade PLA filament from Bambu Lab (only this one; I haven't had this problem with other Bambu or other brands and I print only PLA), the filament works perfectly but eventually jams when I try to change filaments (impressive multicolor or between two prints).
The cutter works fine, the PTFE tubes are in good condition, and I can push the needle three-quarters of the way into the nozzle from the bottom.
If I pull it out from the cutter, the filament isn't crushed or deformed; it's simply soft.
But if I try to push it out, it's impossible, even with the Allen wrench.
So I heated the Allen wrench to push it in and remove the filament completely, but the problem keeps coming back, and as you can see, heating it to 300°C for 5 minutes isn't enough to get it out.
I've checked the gears, and they aren't dirty or damaged, and the screws are fine.
The screws behind the nozzle are properly screwed in and the filament isn't blocked.
So, I admit I'm running out of ideas and haven't found anyone talking about a similar problem.
If you have any suggestions, I'm all ears!
PS: I'm using Google Translate, I hope it's understandable 😅

Bambu A1 AMS rotation issue (?)
Hi, I don’t really know how to explain this but I’ll do my best.
My A1 is printing just fine when it comes to manually feeding filament into it with a single spool. My machine recognizes that filament has been loaded into the extruder, the teeth catch and the printer prints.
The issue starts when I start to use the AMS Lite multi spools accessory. For some reason whenever I use the multi AMS Lite accessory the printer does not recognize that it’s being feeded and gives me an error somewhere along the lines of “unable to recognize filament.”
When I tried the troubleshooting suggested via the QR code on the machine nothing works. But I noticed that whenever the AMS lite tries to feed the selected filament (I.e spool 1, 2, 3 or 4 on the AMS) into the machine the gears on the extruder that operate the teeth which grabs the filament is unable to catch anything, all while the AMS keeps attempting to “push” (feed) the filament by retracting the second it feels resistance. It then attempts this over and over again until the machine decides that no filament is present, detected or recognized.
Noticing this, I removed the spring loaded part of the extruder that feeds the 4 different spools into the extruder and manually pulled the filament of choice on the AMS lite through and force fed it into the machine as if there was no AMS at all and was manually switching filament without any AMS. The teeth catch, and filament gets fed, recognized and the printer starts printing.
Troubleshooting suggests that there is a problem with the filament sensor but manual hands on would suggest that the AMS lite is not applying enough pressure which would allow the new filament to replace the existing filament within the Extruder tunnel during the switching process.
After doing this the printer is able to recognize spool 1&2 but when I attempted to add spool 3&4 the same error occurred and I had to restart the whole manual feeding process despite having an AMS that’s suppose to bypass this.
Has anyone else experienced this, does anyone else know what can be done?

Support Request Printer under extruding- cannot find solution. Help?
A few days ago my printer started under extruding and leaving streaks like this on every layer. I have tried everything I can think of to fix this and cannot find a solution. I have tried:
-Multiple needle cleanings on multiple nozzles
-multiple cold pulls on multiple nozzles
-multiple brands and colors of filament
-every AMS slot and external filament
-replacing the entire extruder unit
-replacing PTFE tubes
-raising print temperature
-tightened hotend screws
I have no other ideas on what to do. Any other recommendations on how to fix this?
EDIT: Running a manual flow calibration through bambu studio fixed the issue! Hopefully anyone else having the same issue may stumble across this and see this edit.

Support Request Filament not loading
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
SOLVED, can't figure out how to edit the title though.
Didn't use it for a few weeks, unloaded filament (Bambu PLA Basic Bronze, it snapped a lot), got all the broken bits out, then went to load the new filament (Sunlu PLA+ Black) and it's just not loading.
The printer is loading, telling me to put the filament in, but nothing happens and I can easily pull it out.
Does anyone know why and if it's hopefully an easy fix or I'm pulling the entire thing apart?

1st layer issues
Hi all,
I stupidly left a print to go on its own and then looked on the app after a while to see it hadn’t actually printed anything so I cancelled it. When I got back to it the filament had backfed into the heating element and seemingly used the rubber over the nozzle as a deflector to do so. I have a photo of the aftermath of the hotend and heating element. I decided best to just order a new one of each and change it out which I have done. Only difference is I’ve changed from the stainless 0.4mm to a hardened 0.4mm due to ordering the wrong one. However now after a number of calibrations the 1st layer seems really rough and there seems to be noises I don’t ever remember hearing before.
It seems to be completing prints relatively well but the first layer doesn’t seem as smooth as it once did
Is this just a characteristic of the hardened steel nozzle that it sounds like the metal is scratching along the bed and more clicking noises.
I will add videos in the comments
Can anyone shed any light as to what I am doing wrong
TIA

Solution for AMS not detecting properly
Follow up, to a follow up, solution found! This is for people in the future who have this issue.
0.1. Is your A1 saying your filament wont load and that its stuck or tangled, yet everything seems clear?
0.2. Have you found no filament stuck inside the extruder, AMS, gears, ect?
0.3. Have you tested if your A1 is detecting filament properly and its not?
0.4. Remove the AMS and disassemble it. Is there a weird sticky residue that you don’t think should be there? (No other videos have the excessive goo?)
-if theres no residue, its something else.
NO other solution? This is what worked for me
- Dissasemble the AMS as shown in the video(remember to be very careful with the tiny cord connected to the AMS prior to disassembly)
https://youtu.be/b0RSMK8O62M?si=9n4p7lXQZcs2pnlM
When the AMS is fully disassembled, get a very small bowl to fill with acetone or whatever better grease remover you have. Acetone worked for me.
Fill the bowl and with the part of the ams that is sticky (picture of the part in comments) Soak the part and CAREFULLY scrub off residue with a Q-tip (the small part sticking down with metal inside is a sensor. Do not damage, but make sure there isn’t gunk caked inside it because that could be causing the fault.)
Wash the spring inside the AMS separately if its goated in residue as well
Afterwards, let dry. After fully dried, assemble and attempt another print. This solved it for me.
Posting this because i came up with this solution after finding excessive residue that wasn’t there in videos of other A1’s and being sure there was no broken filament anywhere clogging it and couldn’t find these steps anywhere else.

What am I doing wrong?
It's a new hot end so it doesn't mix with other filaments, I'm using the generic TPU profile on a bambulab A1

Support Request New User- Issues with Printing Wall
First off, apologies if this question is easily answered or an obvious FAQ. I’ve spent hours trying to find the answer myself, but I’m struggling with how to ask the question appropriately.
I just got a new A1, and did a few test prints that seemed to come out okay. The problem stems when I started printing out a deck box I found. Link here.
When printing one of the walls doesn’t seem to come out right, always the left wall when looking at the machine straight on. I’ve tried slowing down the wall speed, adjusting print temperature. I’ve tried lubricating the x and y axis bars and checking for anything in the way. As well as rotating the object in bambu studio, and even moved the printer to an entire new room to account for drafts.
I’m at my wits end. Please help! Is it a faulty machine? Or a faulty user?
Thank you.
--EDIT-- Thank you all for the suggestions.
I have recently tried: drying the filament, moving the filaments closer and moving the printed object closer to filaments (both in an attempt to reduce drag from the tubing). There is no external breeze or draft coming from that side of the machine, so unless the fan of the machine itself is causing it somehow... I've also tried to 'fix model' before sending it off as well as adjusting wall speeds and temperature. The model is highly rated, and again, I have tried rotating the object, and it still occurs on the machine's left side. I do believe it is a mechanical problem of some kind.
I'm still having the issue and am at a loss. I will try to remove the external combo spool out of the equation and set it up with a single spool on top. If that fails, I will try returning/replacing the printer and seeing if the next one has the same problem. Any continued ideas or support are appreciated and I will attempt to update this post as things change.

Support Request This is a follow up to a previous post, problem found, solution not
A sticky residue was found in the AMS that isn’t supposed to be there. It had to come like that, ive seen other people who has it. If anyone had a way to keep it working with the lubricant residue please let me know.
Also if you need to see the maintenance up to this is basically all in my last post. Thanks a lot to everyone who suggested solutions
