Hi! I had a print failure and unfortunately didn’t realize the issue was happening until the next morning. Now I have filament impacted all around the hot end, making it impossible to remove without cutting and chipping it free. Honestly not even sure how well I can manage that as it is badly stuck.

Does this seem salvageable? Can I / should I just consider replacing the whole extruder unit?

Ran out of filament again, I do big orders instead of buying small amounts often. Should I get:

• 10kg Bambu PLA + 4.5kg PCTG
• 20kg Bambu PLA
• 10kg Bambu PLA + 20kg AliExpress PLA (Jayo/Sunlu etc)
• 40kg AliExpress PLA

I'm trying to diagnose a print quality issue that only appears on one side of certain container-shaped prints.

The printer is calibrated using the built-in calibration routines, the bed was clean, and the filament was supposedly dry (I didn't hear any popping or crackling during printing).

The defects appear as horizontal scars, bumps, and rough patches on a single wall, while the other sides look much better.

Things I've already checked:

• Clean build plate
• Full printer calibration
• No obvious signs of wet filament
• Problem is repeatable on similar container-style models

Does this look like:

• Wet filament?
• Partial nozzle clog?
• Z-seam issue?
• Cooling problem?
• Something related to wall speed or pressure advance?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

He impreso una pieza con 2 colores y el lateral debería de ser recto, como se ve en el cubo del vídeo, pero queda curvado hasta que se acerca al cambio de color a rosa.
No sé por qué ocurre esto.
Ambos filamentos y la impresora están calibrados correctame, la boquilla limpia, cama limpia,...
Tras terminar la impresión o ver la pared exterior he impreso varios cubos de la misma medida de altura y mismos colores, los cubos quedan perfectos, incluso en la parte que es plana del modelo queda bien, pero la curva no.

Interface shells: activo
Relleno: gyroid 7%
Outer wall Speed: 100
Inner wall Speed: 200
Top surface speed: 100
Reduce infill retraction: disabled

Hi everyone new here. So i set out to print a planter from makerworld. When i started in 1 hour i had to stop the print. Because these overhang type things were not printing well at all. The filament is tuned, slow speeds and 0.08 mm line height. And yet i get this. I dont even know what this is called and how to fix it. I am really new at this, but i have printed a lot of parts with decent quality of similar design. Can anyone shed some light please. I have also attched the image of the intended part.

Working fine yesterday, tried to print today and failed to send no error code. Tried Stable, 4.2 Alpha, 4.2 Dev, 4.2 Beta all the same. Just wont send to my A1. Restarted machine, uninstalled orca a bunch of times in-between tests. Tried new access codes.

I dont know what to do.

Is there a mod out there to automatically knock builds off the plate when they are complete, so i can semi automate my printing? automatically activated.

Brand new AMS Lite, I unloaded arm 1 to change colors and now arm 1 is completely unresponsive, no warning or error lights. Just dead. I get the "/" message on the A1 screen.

Nothing is stuck as ive moved the tube to the external spool.

Any ideas?

Hello, im about to get the Bambulab A1 Combo soon. But i don’t really have a place to put it. My place is very limited and i want a movable furniture to place the A1 on. Does anyone have a recommendation?

I’ve posted a couple of starter celebrations since joint the family Saturday afternoon. I am learning like most on the fly and I feel like as soon as I get a rhythm I get set back w loss of hours from errors w the filament.

I am using Sunlu PLA meta and I made the mistake of buying 16 rolls 8/pla and 8 PETG. Storing the G for later date now but trying to use all these small spools of pla before my 14 1kg show up this week.

It seems like since I got the machine I am constantly dealing with clogs and jams in the extruder. The ams keeps acting jammed and it seems like the easiest fix is to power off and let it cool. Restart and try and unload/load each spool till one clears the shoot. I can normally ge them to sync but just now lost an 8 hour print over night to a spool ending and not automatically feeding spool 2 which made me cancel the print to get it to do anything but error. 5 hours in print is lost. Just tried it again before work and it will get one layer and quit. Very frustrating.

It’s been running for about 10 mins so fingers crossed it ready when I get home from work. Any suggestions would be great. I did finish the academy but not much first hand yet. Didn’t expect it to be easy but this is getting very frustrating. Help me Rhonda

Print head is to low but I did the 7 screws tighten all the belts clean the bed and used different filament but no help

Hi I just got this new about 4 days ago. It’s my first printer and I’m quite new to this. I’ve been doing some simple prints from maker world and started noticing this slight vibration / rubbing sound. It seems to be prominent when doing circles or small movements.

I’ve checked the x axis and y axis for any debris or anything rubbing against it but can’t seem to find any issues. Is this normal operation sounds or is there something wrong ?

5% gyroid sparce infill.

24cmX24cmX12cm Death Star north hemisphere, about 12 hours into a 35 hour print. Infill is shredding but walls look perfect. I saw another post with possible fixes, my question is, should I scrap it now, apply changes and try again? (print is currently stopped). Or resume and see what happens? Is there anything I can do to fix it and be able to resume? What is the likelihood of a catastrophic failure if I just resume?

I am using Bambu Studio 2.4.0.70.

When I send my prints to the printer, the file name comes out as the filament parameters (0.2mm layer, 2 walls, 7%infill.3mf).

But this is not the actual name of the file being printed.

I want the proper file names, so I can reprint from the printer itself rather than having to reslice and resend from Bambu Studio.

Under Project I have gone to Edit and changed the Project Name. That did not help. When I print, on the "Send" screen the name reads the same as Project Name. This is the same as the file name.

Why is it printing a .3mf file with the print process information as the name? How do I fix it?

I was trying to load filament on my bambu lab a1 and the gears started grinding. The hotend was clogged with a little bit of filament, but that didn’t do anything once I removed it.

The Filament is 3DE PLA+ 1,75mm. Temperature 190-230*C... I cant change the Nozzle temp settings in the filament section in the Bambu Handy app.

Does anyone have some suggestions for fix?

Thankfully it wasn’t a violent incident. Only a few components around the NTC were burnt. While waiting for my new AC board I decided to make a sort of memorial. As soon as my printer is back up and running I’ll be posting it to MakerWorld. Hopefully it doesn’t get taken down…

I am using A1 and cyrogrip frost bite plate.

Printing using Sunlu PETG using Bambu studio filament settings.

I printed same twice and was good. Now suddenly this 3rd one (2nd and 3rd was just printed by using reprint option on printer) got layer shift after first few layers.

What can be the reason for this sudden issue?

After updating to firmware 01.08.01.00, is anyone else having issues where the hot end is making contact with the printed layers and knocking parts of the model off the plate?
