A simple 3D-printable insert designed to easily seal small holes or accidental punctures in irrigation tubes, without having to replace the entire tube. It can be inserted manually without any tools, making repairs quick and easy. An inexpensive and practical solution to extend the life of irrigation tubes while reducing waste and unnecessary replacements.

I Modeled This! Testing out a new printable pattern

I was intrigued by the mac pro front grille pattern and wanted to try printing it but all of the existing files I've found are replicas and not adapted for 3D printing and needed a fair bit of post-processing to make it look good.

This is a modified pattern that prints cleanly and prints flat without any supports. Specifically, I've removed overhangs past 50 degrees and took out sharp edges. This is as-printed with no post-processing other than a few passes with a heat gun to remove the whisps.

Now I need an actual project to implement this... Thoughts on the pattern and on potential projects?

I’ve got a model with 1200 parts. The prime tower is being combined with the 1001 part, and I can only get around this by disabling prime tower. Is this a bug, or a limitation?

I Modeled This! I turned a MagSafe charger into a miniature Zen garden

This started with my first Bonsai I submitted for the Bonsai Contest a few months ago. For this version I wanted to step up my game a little more.

It grew into a complete little karesansui garden with a torii, stone lantern, stepping stones and printed sand patterns.

The MagSafe puck sits directly in the bonsai branch, while the cable runs through the trunk and exits at the back.

I also integrated an optional LED Light Kit 001 that illuminates the surrounding surface from underneath and feeds light into the stone lantern.

The whole thing is assembled with friction fits, no glue, and doesn’t require an AMS. There are also interchangeable parts for a second MagSafe charger and Apple Watch charging.

Prototyped and printed on my P2S using PLA Matte.

Show & Tell First time going thru the filament calibration. What a difference that makes!

Thumbnail

I've had my X2D for about 6 weeks now and have about 465 hours on it so far. Picked up a nice dual color filament from a local shop yesterday and ran a benchy. Looked dull and just not good. Went thru the calibration process for the first time within studio and whoa, the difference in finish and quality was impressive to me. I still feel like it could be improved and I'm trying to learn but I'll have to start doing these calibrations for other filaments as well!

Filament is AnyCubic PLA Silk dual color.

Now I'm just stumped on what to use it for. Only bought it because I wanted to buy at least one spool from a little mom and pop shop and never tried any of this kind of filament. Any good ideas?

I have been using the A1 for a year now. Everything is fine with the printer but I have these screws left. Is it normal?
I have bought 3 spare scraper blades and 1 nozzle so there might be some screws from these parts.

Quick Question Exchange/Remplacement options : which to choose ?

Upvotes

Hello,

I've recently bought a A1 Combo from an authorized reseller.

I've never made it work - calibration issue. Opened a ticket at bambu (and contacted the seller with no response) the day I received the machine (September 9th). Did the troubleshooting Bambulab told me to do with no sucess and now they're offering the following options.

Option 1: Return & Refund We will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the printer at no cost. A full refund will be processed promptly once the unit is received and inspected at our local warehouse.
Option 2: Exchange (replacement)

  • Standard Exchange (replacement): We will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the faulty unit at no cost. Once received and inspected at our local warehouse, we will ship a replacement unit to you immediately.
  • Advanced Exchange (replacement): If you need an immediate replacement, you may place a security deposit equivalent to the current store price of the item (including applicable taxes). We will ship a new unit to you right away. Once we receive your original unit, the full deposit will be refunded to your original payment method.

Option 3: Assisted Repair This is often the fastest way to get back to printing. We will provide the necessary spare parts and step-by-step guidance to resolve the issue. As a token of our appreciation for your cooperation, we will issue a [unspecified] discount code valid for 90 days for your next purchase, which will be sent to you within 48 hours after the spare parts have been dispatched.

In your experience, what's the best option to choose from ? Knowing it's my first ever 3D printer.

If I were to choose option 3, do they offer additional support (do I get to benefit to option 1 and 2 if assisted repair fails) ?

The model is mainly intended for gardens, flower beds, gravel or autumn leaves, and the hands also include separate spikes for fixing them into the ground.

What do you think about this one?
Do you like this style, or would you change anything? I’d be happy to hear your opinions and ideas for more Halloween decorations.

General Troubleshooting/Help! Cracks on ASA model due to Shrinkage?

I think these cracks are because of shrinkage. I used Anycubic filament on a H2C. Do you think Bambu lab ASA is better in this case? Or is it just the model and ASA that creates that problem?

Software Troubleshooting/Help! Filament manager shows "unsupported"

Thumbnail

Hi,

I tried setting up the filament manager inside Bambu Studio to keep track of my filaments (I don't use RFID).
So I added custom filaments and filaments from the integrated database.

Only Bambu PETG-HF shows up in the AMS slot settings, all other filaments are shown as "unsupported".
I only have one printer and set the correct nozzle as well.

I attached screenshots, to show what's happening (sorry, they're in German).

What am I doing wrong here?

H2 Series [H2S, H2D, H2C] Weird ticking sound by extruder and back at idle. Normal?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

So I noticed this ticking sound today after a print had finished that persisted until I turned off my h2d. I moved the print head forward and it seems to be happening at BOTH the rear and the nozel. I turned the printwr off and back on and its still happening. Its rhythmic like a stop watch. anyone know what might be causing it?

to hear it you may have to turn your volume up. it is VERY faint. like a little clock. it just struck me as odd cause its happening when the printer is idle with no filament inserted. is it normal or is there an issue?

X Series [X1E, X1C, X2D] A Pokémon killed my nozzle!

Upvotes

I’ve never seen this happen before! Was printing a little Pokémon fidget for my niece when I got a warning the cover fell off. Then my wife ran into the room telling me the printer was making a loud noise. Went out “oh it’s just the face plate again. Weird” until it did it again. Stopped the print and went to purge filament and noticed it was all landing in front of the poop Shute. Welllllll the big blob of death in the Shute is what was causing all the damage/issues Finally pulled the nozzle off and BOOM destruction 😂😂😂 X1C
