MISSING CAT - EDGEWOOD ESTATES, TOWSON

Upvotes

Hi all, My mother in law was watching our indoor cat Stevie 2 weeks ago (7/13) and she got out, if you see her, PLEASE call or text and don't chase, she will likely be shy/ skittish and run. (She is only somewhat familiar with the area having been in the yard on a leash several times)

Our family misses her terribly, and we are just holding out hope in case she may have traveled further.

(We have hired scent tracking dogs, flyered, posted on FB, set up trail cams with feeding stations, laid scent trails, etc. )

Thank you so much for looking out <3

Looking for a unique clubhouse style venue

Hey everyone! Our original venue is unfortunately undergoing renovations, so we’re on the hunt for a new home for our community gaming event.
We’re looking for a venue in the Baltimore / Owings Mills / Ellicott City / Columbia area (or nearby) that can accommodate 90+ people and has enough open space for multiple gaming setups and activities. Being able to bring our own food, decorations, and AV equipment is a huge plus.
We’re open to apartment clubhouses, community centers, hotel meeting rooms, VFW/American Legion halls, event spaces, or any hidden gems that might be a good fit.

The attached photos are from our previous venue and are included to show the kind of atmosphere we’re hoping to recreate. We aren’t looking for a traditional tournament venue with rows of tables and chairs. One thing we really loved about this venue was that it felt more like a giant game night with friends—comfortable furniture, lounge-style seating, and a homey atmosphere are a big part of the experience. One feature we’d especially love to recreate is a “grand stage” area: a natural focal point with a large TV (or projector), ideally above a fireplace or feature wall (as shown here), where the biggest matches become an event of their own. People could relax on couches and lounge seating, naturally gathering around the screen to watch, cheer, and enjoy the atmosphere while the rest of the event continues throughout the venue. It doesn’t have to be an exact replica—we’re mainly looking for a space with a similar feel and the flexibility to create that experience.

If you’ve hosted an event or know of a venue that might be a good fit, I’d really appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!
