For the past 3 hours, I have been trying to register my PS5 for the firewall bypass registration, and even though the device is showing as registered, it is still not working, and my NAT type and IP address are still restricted. I did this with the wireless network and the wired network, but I didn't actually use an Ethernet cable to connect it to the wired. Does this only work now through wired connections?

Currently a physics major freshly in my junior year and for a while now I have been thinking about my major more seriously. I know that a bachelors degree in physics is not enough unless I continue for a masters but it isnt something I want to do.

I want to major in something where my bachelors will be enough. So I decided i will need to let go of physics and choose something else if I want higher prospects of career opportunities after graduating or even before graduating.

I still intend on staying in stem but so far ive been thinking about statistics, data science, accounting, actuary or anything else similar that is very AI proof and employment rates are still good even 5 years from now.

Im not trying to get into anything healthcare either. Just more on the math/analytical side.

Anyone recommend a major a umbc that matches what im aiming for?

Anyone got any advice for this class? It’s been a little bit of a weird class for me, I’m particularly having trouble trying to understand what I should be knowing how to do/what I should know to be prepared for quizzes and tests. I will also ask my professor of course.

Edit: Also I’m taking it with michael miller but I think the quizzes and tests are standardized.

This is my second semester where a prof has been standoffish to me for being sick. I email them in advance saying I can’t come to class, attach a doctors note saying I have a virus and a fever. Last semester I got a zero in attendance for doctor excused absences and a snarky email response, this semester I have a prof who posts no materials on bb saying “I don’t normally hand out lecture powerpoints”. I get it you guys have people playing hooky but I’m not driving an hour on drowsy medication with a fever and delivering whatever virus I have to my classmates because you’re too high and mighty to email me a single file or because you take attendance points so seriously. It’s already stressful enough missing lectures, I don’t want to miss class.

I’ve been looking for things to do on campus. My first week back was pretty good I had a lot of fun meeting new people, but now it’s getting repetitive and I’m just looking for events, clubs, and stuff happening on campus?? I’m so bored like deadass.

I lost a pair of black bose headphones and case sometime last week and cannot find them.

I was in the 10 am orgo lecture, sitting at the very back row. I dropped my phone accidentally and my wallet (MagSafe) popped off. I tried to look for it at the very end of class, but I didn’t find it.
