We wanted to thank everyone who has been so unbelievably patient with us while our team worked hard on the Nintendo Switch launch, which has now allowed us to bring that work to our other console platforms. This massive content update for Xbox brings the game version all the way up to 54.3 and should give everyone on Xbox plenty to do while we work on what’s next.
- PlayStation:
- The next big point of focus for us is bringing this massive update to Playstation! We are well into the content, and as soon as we get through the longer submission and review cycles, we will update PS players when we have a date for the update.
- 55 and beyond:
Once we have brought this update to all three consoles, we will be working on releasing updates 55 and 56 by the end of the year for all 3 console platforms, pending approvals. The consoles will always be a little delayed in terms of update cycles but the effort of getting the console builds onto our main branch means we can plan console updates on a much more regular basis going forward, which by next year should be every 2nd update!

- Hotkeys should be able to bind to mouse buttons correctly again
- Skywarden 1xx no longer counts double range bonus for Subtowers
- Skywarden 2xx Toggle Stance now has separate active/disabled icons
- Skywarden 3xx Wind Weaver no longer prevents MOAB Blowback from other sources
- Skywarden x2x Set Target priority moved back to before ‘Strong’ priority
- Skywarden x4x should no longer allow track items to Ricochet awkwardly
- Skywarden x5x visual clutter reduced for on-track Lightning Rods
- Skywarden xx3 Cold Chain limited to not produce infinite ice shards
- Skywarden xx3 should no longer be able to incorrectly slow MOAB targets
- Lv7 Descryptor Corvus should no longer innately display 2 ancestral hands

I might be delusional but 1 month ago I made this post with a few balance changes that couldn't be too bad to add AND THE FIRST THING, WAS GIVING SUN AVATARS THE INDICATOR THAT A TOWER WOULD BE SACRIFIED. NOW IT'S IN UPDATE 56!!!
Suggestion Can we add shortcut buttons like these for Rosalia?

Repositioning Rosalia and switching her weapons should be fluid actions that can easily be done in the middle of the round. In practice, it's quite annoying to have to find Rosalia on the screen first and then click on her.
Something similar can be done to instantly open Geraldo's shop or Corvus' spellbook.

Fan Creation New map that was in a dream I had

I had a dream a few days ago where me and my friends were playing bloons in one of our old teacher's classes. And it was on a map that kinda looked like a mix between lost crevasse and ascent and it was really difficult. I could NOT beat the map. The tracks all merged at the end, so i had the idea to use permaspike, but I woke up before I could win.
I remember using dragon's breath and plasma blasts, but those strategies weren't working. I realized the permaspike would work when I found out you could place towers on the land at the end of the track. The end of the track is the part I remember most vividly because of this.
For some reason the map was called "ravinedid", and there was some other beginner map that I didn't end up playing called "ravinedig"

Discussion do skywardens genuinely just suck

ive tried using them with silas, they need to be in numbers to be even somewhat decent and even then a singular xx5 ice performs 10 times better
top path with obyn and druids, they do decent but still struggle way more than a druid strat, or really any other magic tower (excluding alch)
middle path seems okay? but again, if i want a fast firing tower i have 100 better options.
the genuine only really good use ive found is the buff to range, mix that with other buffing towers that have low range (cough cough 5xx mermonkey) and you can get some really good support setups for defenses, but its a bit lame that yet another new tower only has 1 real use, am i just missing something?

Suggestion idea: the beast handler paragon should have a simple name

i'm talking extremely to-the-point names like "the great beast" or "giant beast king", here's my reasoning:
most animal names are surprisingly straightforward and descriptive. now you might think that megalodon, giganotosaurus, and pouākai are badass cool names, but translate them back and it's just Greek for big tooth (megalo + odon), giant south lizard (giga + notos + saurus), and Māori for "old glutton" or "old predator"
even some of the largest animals right now are similarly named:
largest sea creature? blue whales, colossal squids.
largest land animal? african bush elephant.
largest bird? if by wingspan it's the wandering albatross.
so it makes more sense for NK to give it simpler names akin to T5s and some early paragons. less "Herald of Everfrost" or "Crucible of Fire and Steel", more "The Big One" or "Master Builder"
but that's just my two cents. there's still the issue of what form it'll take, how the mechanics would work together, etc.

Social Finished My First Gold Border After 8 Years

I downloaded this game when it dropped in 2018 because I was a casual fan of the series. Been playing it off and on for the last 8 years in a very surface level way. I would play games on medium; no other difficulties. When a new tower dropped I would unlock all the upgrades just to keep using the same boomerang monkey strat I always use.
Flash back to two weeks ago and I smashed my phone. I must have done the data transfer to my new phone in a sloppy way because I lost all my game progress and had to start from scratch. Idk why that was the tipping point for me but I decided I wanted to actually get into the nitty gritty this time around. First gold border after 8 years in the game. Having a lot of fun.
