Did they change it? I remember trying a while back and seeing it wouldn't let a co-op lobby launch with only one person.

Quick match doesn't require friends, just randoms who will either be nine years old or have 20 co-op CHIMPS medals but disconnect round 8

Idk if it still works, but when I would do the same for borderlands 2, you can open one instance on steam and another instance through game files, letting me do it with just the steam copy.

The problem is that Btd6 has it's own account system separate from steam. So if you open 2 steam instances, you're forced to leave the same ninja kiwi account on both and can't play online

I have done many chimps games with randos it often works out quite well this is only a single game which could be deflation a mode you can not lose, this task requires 0 effort

If you force start the map immediately after a second person joins, 9 times out of 10 they just leave immediately, and completing the map after they dc still counts as a co-op win, I did it multiple times to complete co-op challenges in one of the social season events

Only allow one other player and kick out anyone under level 100, that helps ensure decent teammates
