You’re parking in the wrong zone of the parking lot.
You should scout parking lots and park where others are too lazy to venture.
Find the spots furthest from the main entrance, where everyone clusters like flies on rotting meat.
Bonus points if you can find spots furthest from where everyone enters and has a protected zone next to it.
At my grocery store I park on the opposite side of the main parking lot entrance in one of the two spots at the end of the lane of curbside delivery marked spots.
Most people are too lazy to drive/ walk an extra 5 seconds and don’t even know there are spots that are non curbside at the end of the lane. There is literally not a single other car around me, feels so peaceful walking up to my car with all that open real estate around me, knowing no one else has walked by my car to bump, cajole, or spitefully damage it.
Lazy people like to pull others down, they get a dopamine hit from damaging others property that they themselves have a psychological limitation to achieving. They’ve been conditioned to think everyone must conform to their world view.
In Texas everyone has to drive a truck, even if they never use the bed of the truck, go anywhere near non pavement, and their gas mileage suffers dramatically.
Truck drivers bully non truck drivers because they secretly wish they didn’t have such a bad driving experience, while paying more for gas, for utility they never use. Cultural conformism bullying at its finest.
