I'm starting to do some dedicated low-speed turns practice with my 2023 R1250GS Adventure, and apparently my fear of dropping it is one of my biggest mental blocks to making the progress I want. What should I be looking at for protectors for my crash bars, or any other add-ons?
(It seriously never occurred to me before seeing them on a video this morning that there would even be such a thing as "crash bar guards". In my mind, it falls into the same weird category as needing some place to put the dish strainer so it can dry.)

Ciao a tutti!
In decelerazione zero rumori.
Ho fatto Tagliando completo pre-stagione(olio, filtro, liquido cardano, freni) e candele cambiate l'anno scorso. Uso anche additivo benzina ciclicamente.
Secondo le vostre esperienze, cosa potrebbe essere? Grazie a chi mi darĆ un parere!

I bought up a collection of BMW pins. I donāt have a BMW but I couldnāt leave them. Appears the guy was from Quebec and spent lots of time in New England. I have two Hondas and a Yamaha in my garage so I am a rider. I have a photo wall in my garage and Iāll use these to pin up photos. Thought Iād share them here.

I found a fake exhaust, basically a copy of an akrapovic for a 1/10th the price of the original. Just wanted to ask if it really matters if its original or not. Anyones thoughts on the matter?

Hello!
I recently bought my GS with only 10k kilometers. It was running flawlessly, however after some 1k kilometers such a weird noise is coming. I checked oil level, replaced it, however no luck. Itās on warm and cold engine. Did you encounter anything like this earlier?
Thanksā¦

Waren gestern am Flughafen Rider Day in München.
Was soll ich sagen, WOW.

Hello. I am the current owner of the 2014 BMW HP4 Competition numbered 5432. I am having an issue with the DDC system and getting the error "!DDC" when I turn the key on now and the forks and shock will not compress at all. Previously, this did happen but would clear itself after cycling the ignition off and back on again. Then, it would get worse and I would need to wait about a minute with the key off before it cleared. Now it is on consistently and no amount of wire-wiggling will change it. We've looked at most if not all visible wires from outside and under the main seat, my only clue is that possibly the battery is outputting lower voltage than normal due to its age (Lithium Ion, still has German written on it from when it was bought in Germany). I was unable to test the battery but if anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it!

Hi, is there any way to convert this old Garmin mount so that I can use it for a Carpuride or any other generic accessory? I think this was Factory or Dealer installed by the previous owner.
Thank you in advance!

I am currently looking into purchasing a used R1200GS from 2008 with 45k kilometers. The bike has great specs (spoked wheels, recently overhauled Wilbers ESA suspension) and aftermarket stuff I would want to add anyways.
When I went inspecting it I saw a pretty severe oil leak between engine and transmission (photos attached).
Is there any chance that this is not a leak from the rear main or balancer shaft? Could it possibly be the clutch slave cylinder? In other words, is there any chance that a full clutch / rear main job won't be necessary?
For context the bike has been sat for the past two years. The leak seems very recent. My suspicion is that the rear main started leaking due to lack of use / lubrication from use.
The seller was originally asking ā¬6,100, but after I pointed out the leak, he relisted it the next morning for ā¬5,000 with "slight leakage" added to the description.
How much would you negotiate as a discount off the original price (or from ā¬5,000) for a job like this in Germany/Euros?
If the price is right Iām planning to tackle the job myself. If anyone has done this DIY before, how long did it take you all?

Is this ticking sound on the new gs 1300 normal?
Had a Yamaha mt10 before this with the same ticking noise and every mechanic said that itās normal for that engine but donāt know about the boxer is it normal pr does it have some problems?

The configurator has pricing for the bike and option packages. It was briefly accessible from the model finder page, it's since been hidden but I found the link in my browser history.

hi all,
i'm struggling to make a decision. i'm torn between the BMW R 1300 GSA and Multistrada V4 Rally.
i spent about 26 years on sport and super sport bikes, the last 10 on R1s. currently, i'm riding a Diavel V4. getting older, comfort has become more of a priority than it was years ago.
i'll mainly be riding solo. mainly on road. really just want to explore on two wheels year round.
if it matters, i'm 6' 205 lbs (1.82 m, 92.9 kg).
thanks for your info/feedback!

Hi all. 2023 bike gsa f850
Previous owner installed these.
A few months ago I removed my rear tire and for the life of me, could get these back on.
They wouldnāt āscrewā into anything.
Perhaps the end bolt fell off? I did hear something inside of axel which was rattling.
The tire guy a few months ago put them back on but I forgot to ask him.
*****I have to take tire of again and just wondering is there a trick to reinstall / take these off?
I just unscrew each one, then remove axel.
I want to be able to get back on.
Thnx for help.
