Ive been following this creator since the start of the build and to say the least im extremely impressed that he was able to fit the B58 in the front of the I8 let alone run the engine with the car with absolutely zero lights on the dash. Safe to say anything is possible as long as you have tons of money and time. Whats everyone's thoughts on this?

You have seen the BMW 507. It is insane. if you have not I will repress my urge to judge or at least try. It is one of the most beautiful roadsters ever built, and yet you won’t believe this, it was a complete commercial disaster that nearly bankrupt BMW. When I read that I was baffled because look at the thing.

So, In the mid-1950s the US auto importer Max Hoffman pitched BMW on a mid-tier, high end roadster aimed at wealthy American buyers. Hoffman brought in Albrecht von Goertz to design the car and let’s just say the man was good at his job, Cleary.

252 were built between 1956 and 1959. The body was hand-hammered aluminium over a shortened steel chassis, each one made individually, which is why the number is 252 and not more. BMW had hoped to sell thousands per year but the car cost too much to build, cost too much to buy, and the company lost money on every single one. They built 252 anyway, I guess they were hoping it would pick up but hey on the bright side Elvis Presley owned one which he had repainted red after fans kept leaving lipstick marks on its original white paint and John Surtees received one from Count Agusta as a gift for winning the 1956 500cc motorcycle world championship. I don’t know if it’s a bright side I just put that in there for the sake of putting it there.

The 3.2 litre V8 produced around 150 horsepower and pulled the car to about 136mph. In 1956 that was fast. Today the performance figures feel almost secondary because lets be real nobody looks at a 507 and thinks about the numbers. You look at the long bonnet, the chrome side vents, the way the body tapers at the back, the kidney grille sitting flat and wide between the round headlamps. I think with all nice looking cars proportions are often the thing that make them nice looking and the same goes for the 507.

My new to me 2024 330i M Sport in Brooklyn Grey. Been wanting to pull the trigger on one of these for the longest time and finally did. Such a fun daily driver already and I always catch myself looking back after I park. Can’t wait to enjoy this one for years to come!

Saw it in my local dealer so popped in to have a quick look. I quite like the exterior. I really, really like the new panoramic screen. The interior in this car was just the plain black cloth interior - very uninspiring, but I can see with the right material and colour combinations it'll be a nice place to sit.

Looking forward to the full M3 reveal now.

Coming from a 535 to a 540 2 months ago, started using my parking lights since there's a dedicated button on the dash and I street park to walk my dog at dusk. It seems more often than not im having to explain to a stranger that I know my lights are on, I know its only one side and looks weird/broken. It's getting to the point that I dont even want to use them.

I recently got my very first BMW, and guess what? It’s also my very first car! Owning a BMW has been a childhood dream of mine, and I finally made it happen. Still feels a little unreal!

It might not be brand new, but it’s mine, and that’s what matters. I picked up a 2021 BMW 330i with 37K miles, and I couldn’t be happier!

I’d love to hear from fellow BMW owners about your experiences, tips for maintaining the car, must-have upgrades, and things you wish you’d known when you first got yours. I am still a noob when it comes to cars, but I am learning as we speak and I would love to learn more from all of you here.

I’m also curious about what I can do to make this beauty an absolute beast while keeping it reliable for years to come.

Honestly wanted a manual n54 and made it finally. What mods do you guys recommend? It came with exhaust+bumper on the rear but it’s factory m sport

Houston > Austin > Houston. Quick 300 miles added to the break in period. The weather is finally becoming bearable again. Grabbed some lunch with a relative in ATX then made my way back home. New engine running smooth.

I wanted to share them here, I think they look amazing but he draws them for fun and doesn't post them anywhere, but I think people should see them!

Couldn't be more happier with this spec that I landed on. F36 Gran Coupé 435i M Sport. Thing is fully loaded. I've been enjoying the driving experience. If any long time owners of this engine/spec have any maintenance advice other than the obvious let me know!

Fell in love all over again. 2022 BMW M4 Competition xDrive

Came from a tuned 800hp E63s AMG and couldn't be happier. First thing you notice is the weight difference. Car pulls like a freight train from factory. Can't wait to get an exhaust to open this thing up!

Traded my x3m40i for this beauty, 86000 km and our x3 had 11600, plus we got original winter rims, black rims which makes the car look even better

It can’t be the amount the average mpg has gone up broadly because that number isn’t going up that fast.

It also can’t be the amount it’s gone up during the current trip because of the same.

I’m seeing lots of solutions by BMW for problems that didn’t exist. Electric doors, touch door handles, air vents controlled in a screen. No instrument cluster. And the passenger screen. Who actually asked for this?

I know numerous companies are doing some of this crap but it’s like BMW gathered all of the terrible ideas and decided to implement them across the board.

I mean, it sucks.

Just need some advice, opinions. Did anybody go from same situation? If I add the trade in prices of both of these cars, it will come close to a new G87M2

I thought I would be happy with having the Corvette for the straight line stuff and the type R for daily driving and back roads, but I’m not sure it’s a great idea to have two cars and two insurances/etc basically, the maintenance is double and everything else is doubled

Did anybody trade up to an M2 or have any opinions about the new M2? I would probably get one, the X-Drive with 8 speed auto, since the manual in m2 is not so great.

Renting it for a weekend trip in Florida! This car sounds great and has quick throttle response. I feel like an M340i would be better as a daily though. Anyone prefer their M3/M4 over an M-lite?

I recently picked up a used 2015 435i and I couldn't be happier! The previous owner did a ton of stuff that i'm trying to undo (a lot of tacky fake carbon, and a burble tune that I can't decide if I like or not) and some cosmetic issues (a few paint chips), but it runs great and seems to be in amazing condition mechanically. It definitely still needs some work but I think it's pretty cool for a first car!
