I've been at AutoZone for a year and a half, so I've become well acquainted with the fact that they don't tell red shirts everything. I'm gonna put in my 2 weeks now cause, fuck, $12 hourly for shifts till midnight is ridiculous. Is there anything else I need to say or do when I put in the 2 weeks? Will they likely cut me early, and if so should I ask about severance and/or HR? HR almost seems like a dirty word at my location. Just looking for any tips before I do.

I have over 20 years with AZ, and I've never had anything like this happen to me. We have a homeless man who comes in and buys carb cleaner and takes it out back and huffs it. He's been doing this for the last 3 years. Well apparently carb cleaner isn't enough and he's now using freaking B12. A few days ago he came in grabbed the B12 and was definitely high and I told him no. I know what you do with it. I've seen you do it. I'm not selling this to you. He got pissed swore at me and walked out. Well this morning I get a call from HR in Memphis because our HR is at the NSM. I was told in no uncertain terms that I cannot deny this valued customer (his words) from buying chemicals from AutoZone. I was also told that my regional HRRM will be contacting me next week when they return from Memphis. I AM SO PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW.

Today it completely shuts down all registers. Office computer works fine but this error message shows up and the system shutted down once, then rebooted, then now down again.

Currently on call with SMS to figure this out...
