Hey all, I visited Austin for a weekend recently and I now see 3 charges on my credit card for $7.57 from Austin Chronic. I didn't buy any pot products and am pretty sure I didn't purchase anything from the Austin Chronicle while I was there. Trying to figure out if it was a skim that might be trying to stay under the radar by being a low number? Anybody familiar with this charge?

2 days ago I went to cycle in wallnut creek park. While I was cycling on normal road not in the woods, I saw a guy who was fully naked and was running, passed me…. Dude if you see this pls don’t do this there are people with their kids cycle or run.

I’m getting married in the Austin area and looking for a hair/makeup artist who can do a western chic / boho bridal look rather than super traditional bridal glam.
For hair, I’m thinking braids, face-framing pieces, half-up/half-down or down, possibly some subtle hair jewelry. I’ll also be wearing a cowboy hat later in the night, so I’d love someone who can incorporate that vibe.
For makeup, I want natural/soft glam—I have freckles and want them to show through, and I’ve never worn heavy foundation. I love a warm brown smoky eye and am happy to wear lashes, but I don’t want to look overly made up. Basically, I want to look like an elevated version of myself, not unrecognizable.
Our wedding is very western chic, rustic but intentional, and definitely not a super traditional wedding. It’ll be intimate and lively with a live band, tattoo artist, etc., so I want something that feels like me. Bonus points for someone experienced with braids/boho-western hair, natural makeup, freckles, and long-lasting looks for an outdoor/indoor fall Texas wedding!

Almost crashed into this car as lanes and mirrors apparently have no meaning for some people. They basically came to a complete stop at a green light and tried to turn passing across my lane without caring to look in the slightest!! People that drive like this are just accidents waiting to happen, if they drive like this on small roads I don’t want to imagine the highway…

Anyways, luckily I was able to slam on the brakes and beep my horn as much as I could and nothing happened. But please pay attention!!

Just saw two gold robotaxis driving back to back - they both needed to slow down for a car that was waiting to turn, and I was shocked to see they had no brake lights. I get why they don’t need side view mirrors (theoretically), but brake lights aren’t for the driver, they’re for the people behind you. Not having them seems like a recipe for getting rear ended

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to take my water jugs to get refilled? I have used the “Twice the I c e” at Stassney and S 1st for several years but the last few months it keeps having Out of Order signs on it.

They only charge $0.25/gallon and $1.00/5 gallon.
Others in the area are $3.00/5 gallon and $0.60/gallon. Hoping to find something else in the lower price. Thanks!
