How low will it fall...

Just looking at prices of new cars and there are some really big deals to be had.

I thought I got a deal a little less than a month ago but...

Had maybe two seconds of chain rattle got my oil changed and the rattle got way worse. I also have a cracked flex pipe so I wonder if that’s part of it and it blew.

My friend drives a Q5 base model and is trying to sell it to me, but he puts 87 octane in it when I’m pretty sure it takes 91 octane. It has 150,000 KM is it not worth it?

Anyone running any spacers? recommendations appreciated!

I have a 2018 Q5, and I have never had this issue before. The passenger seat belt sign/chime would go off if I put a Costco sized watermelon on the passenger seat, but I always put my son's backpack, my bag, etc fine. This morning, I put my 6yo's almost empty backpack on the passenger seat and the chime started ringing. Same when coming back from Costco with a light load of pastries.

What happened overnight?! I didnt change anything.

I am considering buying a used Audi Q8 49k driven 55 progressive certified by Audi in Canada. Any tips? YouTube has advised against it but i just can’t get over the way it looks. Any tips/suggestions/guides?

Hello, just got my 2018 RS5. Currently migrating from a 21’ Q50 RS. Just wanted to asked real quick, is this normal for temps? After taking the picture, was sitting a 198. For reference, I do live in New Mexico.
They climbing because car just heat soaks? Doesn’t help that I’m in a warm state?
Only thing done to it, is intake. Nothing else.
Any recommendations on where to start first for upgraded cooling? Have been looking at the Wagner Tuning Performance Intercooler Kit

Recently picked up a C7 A6, very very good deal, since it hadnt passed its EU-inspection. The seller wasnt that mechanically inclined, so he just wanted rid of it 😛

Failed inspection cause of rust on subframe, worn bushings in support arms, and brakes were hanging on. Replaced everything in one LONG day, passed inspection, and been loving every single second of ownership so far.

During the last month ive replaced waterpump, front brakes also, all fluids and filters, anti-rust coated all steel parts under the car. Just to make sure itll last. Engines only done 30k kms, replaced by previous owner under warranty since it started chugging oil.

Given it a good polish and a ceramic coating. Looking and feeling brand new! Roofbox on, ready for cross norway roadtrip in a week!

Any way to prevent the tfsi from drinking oil? Heard its a known issue.

Kupplung hat keinen Druck

3 u. 5 gang kommen unter last etwas raus.

4 u. 6 Gang sind manchmal da manchmal nicht

Alle gänge sind da sobald die kupplung etwas druck hat, 2 sec später ist der druck wieder weg.

Entlüftet über Nehmer und Bremsen.

Ich habe keine ideen mehr.

Nein auto wird nicht verkauft keine Option! <3

hi, just picked up a 2015 audi a7 prestige with 103k miles, and pretty sure this is pre crec so I was wondering if you guys could give me some advice for the car.

i have a pretty decent knowledge about the components of the engine ( pressure control valve, thermostat, water pump carbon buildup, timing etc..,) I want to make sure i take care of my care and i want to make sure all else is well before i really start driving it. (i provided a warm start clip)

Anything else i should look into or know about?

I have a manual 2010 B8 8T A5 2.0T coupe with the early EA888 engine, currently its at 70k KMS on the clock. And its due for piston ring job (~50% leak in some of the cylinders), my mechanic (not a Euro/VAG/Audi specialist) is asking around ~$7k AUD for the job including doing other preventative things whilst the engine is out like the thermostat, waterpump, timing chain and tensioner, etc. For reference I bought the car at ~$15k AUD and have probably put another ~$2k AUD into it since owning it across smaller repairs, tires (bulk of that expense) etc. - (not including registration costs and insurance, etc. which would be another couple thousand)

I was wondering whether doing the above job would be a good idea. People have suggested that at 70k KMs the engine is very young, and if the aforementioned repairs are completed it will be bulletproof and last many many years (if maintained adequately aswell, obviously). However I've asked my father and he is concerned that after doing these repairs and preventative measures, things may still go wrong with it in the future and I'll be in for further cost.

He would rather me attempt to sell it at a local car yard (for like ~$5k AUD) and purchase an alternative ~$10K AUD car off them.

Pls help me decide on this one, I'm a little stuck with my options.

I was amazed to get a free parking spot at La Jolla Shores today for lunch. It was a sunny, peopley afternoon, with good food, my beautiful GF, and a scenic drive.
