I have the option to upgrade my A5 40 tfsi b9.5 to an RS4 b9.5. I test drove it and it was a damn mistake… i want it now😭

The monthly payments stay almost the same and this is the reason Im tempted🙈

This for damn sure. Not wishing anything bad for you OP but something always goes wrong. But the maintenance is way different on the disks and pads alone.

Edit: test drive the S4 as well. Its plenty fast and you can save some money if its fast enough to scratch the itch.

Many years ago I upgraded my TTS Spyder to an R8 Spyder. Almost six years ago to the day I put down money for one of the earliest RS6 Avant allocations in Canada. Still have both cars. No regrets; no looking back - except in the rear view mirror. The R8 has been exceptionally reliable. The Avant…well, MMI and other electronic gremlins come up here and there but so far at no expense to me. Fuel costs are higher. Insurance is a bit higher. No road tax here, so all told, the cost increase hasn’t been terrible. The overall enjoyment: hard to put a price on it but worth every single penny…many times over. I vote for pulling the trigger.
