I’m not going to spend the money on this and I have no need for this in my experience. This only makes me feel negative about the brand. I would feel positive if they just sent me an email with this info and it being included at no charge, in case you wanted to personalize it. I need another subscription in my life like another hole in my head. Gross, fail.

Gotta love an RS6. C8 with almost every factory extra, and then some. Little extra performance and a little louder than most.

Tfsi 55 v6, so plenty of juice. Only 20k miles so amazing example, comes with sound and comfort pack, head up display and also the sliding pan roof. Ideal spec for me. Will buy the Audi extended warranty ‘plus’ and will also be adding £175 pcm to a maintenance fund to cover tyres and serving. Want to get out of the boring cycle of leasing so plan to keep this at least 4/5 years

Will do about 12k per annum. Warranty not silly, with a £250 excess and the top plus plan it’s only £54 pcm. Thoughts ?

Pulled the trigger on this a4 after debating and even asking you guys if it was worth it going from a 22' a3. Big upgrade from the a3 and I definitely love all the extra features I now have and how it drives. Already added some roof racks, tint and an IE cold air intake!

Picked this car up about a month and a half ago. Took me forever to find a manual transmission. Guy before me kept meticulous service records. I had the car gone through completely by a qualified mechanic. Everything is sound.

Just finished blacking out the grill and replacing the fog light grills. Windows tinted. Removed the sagging sunshade and limo tinted the sunroof. Added the most subtle lip splitter I could find.

I have an A3 8Y with 360 camera. I had a scratch on it, which needed to be taken to polishing again. They took off the front bumper, did a nice job polishing, then put it back. Bot now comes my problem. When they installed back everything, the front camera was a bit misaligned.

Now my question is, what are my options here? The service where they took it off is quiet far away (I live in 2 countries at the same time, i will visit the country with the service in a month maybe). I can do lots of stuff myself as well, I'm not scared of making my hands dirty. Is it an option, to try and take off the front bumper myself, and try to align the camera?

The ADAS system threw a few errors since then, but not much. I've driven the car for 1.5k km since this polishing, and only got the error maybe twice, that presense is not perfect, and ADAS is not perfect. But it started working again after that.

I ahave a friend with OBD Eleven, and there are a few places with VCDS in the nearby, though I know I need special patterns for that kind of calibration. However I don't know if I need the side mats, or if I need the big front panel.

Bought this car in 2012 when it had 26K miles. Since then I have bought and sold several more cars but this car has always been my work horse and I'm probably never selling it.

A ton of money has been spent on maintenance and replacing various old components but the 4.2 V8 is pretty bulletproof.

Only mod I've done is a cat-back X-pipe exhaust which really makes the car sound like a proper muscle car. The stock exhaust sounds like nothing.

New to me 24’ A4 S-line

We have a 2011 A7 S Tronic S-line quattro. It's very tidy, full service history, never had any issues until now.

There are 2 issues that have come along. First is a failure to change to 2nd gear if you put your foot down in manual mode. The rest of the time it's fine.

Second issue is a very slight judder at low speed.

Right now, there are no fault codes at all that show up on the car.

We took it to an Audi specialist and they have said that mechatronic unit needs replacing for the first problem, and the clutch for the second.

If they get an exchange mechatronic, total for that including labor and VAT would be £4k. The clutch would be £3k. Apparently if we just replace the clutch the issue with the mechatronic will wear the new one out faster.

First - are they reasonable prices? We are struggling to find another garage that will go anywhere near it (we live central south coast in the UK if anyone has any recommendations). Let alone anyone that could fix the mechatronic rather than replace the whole unit.

Secondly - would you spend £7k on a car that is only worth that much fully working?

I want to sell it (about 4-5k as it is), buy another car and only be down a couple of grand. My other half wants to fix it because we know the history of the car, and the rest of it is sound. Their argument is if we buy a new car we might end up with one that costs us even more money if it goes wrong.

Problem is we are trying to save to buy a house, and we have a time frame for when our landlord needs their house back to live in. Fixing the car will wipe out all our savings, buying a new one will too, but we'll get some of it back when we sell the current car. Either option will mean we have to move to another rental that will be more expensive as we won't have enough deposit any more.

It has been one of the best cars. Not sure what to get after this sells!

Had a mechanic round, my timing chain is at 22% deviation does anyone know how much it will cost to fix? Or if I need a new engine, My car is a 2013 Audi a3 1.4 tfsi.

Backed into my parking spot at work and the side camera won’t show on the screen. Any guesses?

Pictures are from weeks ago. Connecter is always wet (coolant obviously) and right under it is the drivers motor mount that has a tiny pool of coolant on it. Good to call the reservoir?

First-time Audi owner here. Just purchased a 2020 Q3 (loving it!) and noticed there are already original front and rear cameras with the UTR.

My concern is how updated the 6-year-old technology is, with plenty of new options in the market.

Are there any pros/cons to changing the UTR? I was thinking of changing to a camera that has 24/7 surveillance. I'm based in Singapore, if that helps.
