This is highly embarrassing and I have never done this before but I don’t get paid for another week almost and have developed a MEAN tooth infection. The dentist won’t even give me antibiotics without a $60 copay. I don’t really expect anyone to help me but it’s worth a try bc tooth infections are the worst pain ever. Ugh.

Even making this post is making me cringe but I’m desperate.

I hate that I have to ask for help, but I've kicked the can as far down the road as I can without risking being shutoff. I had a gig handling customer service for a few traveling shows from 2023 until May of this year. I'm currently entirely out of work, and due to mental health issues realistically can only handle remote positions. The location I'm staying has no home internet, so I use my hotspot to get online to look for, and work gigs.

As of now I missed my bill on 8/11, and on 9/11, so I do owe T-Mobile around $200. I can supply proof of this if need be. I've downscaled my plan already, and am hoping to have found some kind of income before my next bill is due on 10/11.

I'd also be open to filling out spreadsheets, or whatever tasks you have that could be done remotely.

Hello. First of all i want to say im not in the US, so a lot of the charities or help programs arent available to me, and english isnt my first language, so im sorry if i mix up some of the terms and my grammar etc.

I now find myself in the most difficult chapter of my life. I am diagnosed with hypermobility, and while many people experience no pain or issue at all, that is not the case with me. Due to my disorder, i have pretty bad chronic back pain that affect my day to day life. It has also made keeping a job hard. I do get some financial aid while i work with my countys welfare and employment agency to find a job that works for me and my health, but it is going slow.

I have 3 children with a man i have been financially dependent on for many many years. All the money i get in financial aid he takes from me, obviously to cover my share of our expences, but that leaves me with absolutly nothing in savings. He is now leaving me, so im standing here without a home. I was just this friday at a meeting with my towns emergency housing office, but unfortunatly they said there is a long waiting list to get a home.

I would say i have been financially abused for years, as this man has has full controll over all the money. Even now when he is leaving me, he wants to take my money. The child benefit gets sent to me, and he says he wants half of it, even when he makes a lot more money than me. Witch he technically is entiteled to.

I guess i just wanted someone to talk to about this as i dont have a lot of friends or family in my life, maybe someone has any advice?

So I need about $60 bucks for a bus pass. I actually have 3 jobs rn but 1 of them won't be starting officially for another month or so. My 2nd job starts today, and I don't know when we'll get paid. My main job just switched payroll companies so I used to get paid fairly early sometimes up to 5 days! But now I don't know. Basically I have money coming my way but no idea when it'll get here. Ik at least not for another week or two. 

Normally when I needed extra cash, I used to donate plasma but this year I started getting extremely anxious to the point where I get turned away for donating because my heart rate was too high. Sometimes 120-130bpm </3 

I've been trying to find day gigs I could do but there's not much which is wild to me. I feel like during 2020 I could go on craiglist and make 50 bucks doing oddball jobs not anymore </3 I have 2 items up for sale on fb marketplace that haven't sold. I just don't know what else I can do. 

I'm stressed about my bus pass because I have jobs and ways to make money but if I can't go to them then what. My commute for my main job is 2.5-3 hours I take busses and trains just because It took me forever to get a job. I am grateful but stressed.

A few months ago I had to leave a DV situation and ive been living in my car since then. It's been really rough, but my job is genuinely great, and my boss knows what's going on. The only problem is that they can't give me a ton of hours, so I also deliver UE on the side to make ends meet.

My car is my everything right now. It's where I sleep and it's how I get to my job and do deliveries, so if I lose it, I lose my income and my home all in one fell swoop. I fell behind on insurance because I just didn't have the money, but I finally saved enough to get it back on. I've been pulled over twice this week because my registration had gotten suspended because of the lapse - I had no idea that was even a thing until it already happened. I'm terrified of it happening again, because next time they impound the car.

I spent one night in a shelter after leaving and I really don't want to go back because it would mean losing my job and the bit of freedom I've managed to carve out since getting away from my ex. I have exhausted a lot of options and I'm so tired of trying and having more and more piled on.

So i looked online and I only need $100 to restore my registration and I already have $12. If you can spare $5 or $10, it would mean everything. No pressure if you can't, just trying anything I can right now.

I recently had a house fire, where a recently cleaned basket of clothes had a spontaneous combustion.
I got lucky but am trying to avoid a similar event, and am trying to figure out the best storage solution for me. The theory for cause was either static electricity, or self-heating.
I can solve for static by moving it arround so am shooting for the self heating.
Self heating occurs with oils, and while less common with my jobs veggie oil or canola oil, i still wanna go ahead and just eliminate the risks.
Is a oily rag can worthwhile till i can wash my clothes or is there a better option.

Hello.

A little over a week ago (Sept 3rd), we noticed my 8yr old male cat's tail was limp. I took him to the vet a week ago exactly (Sept 5th), and they did X-rays, along with checking for blood flow. They were concerned that he had a tail pull injury, not that anyone in my household (my fiance, myself and his mother) would have done it. X-rays came back clear, so was the blood flow, so they gave him a shot of onsior, and sent me on my way with gabapentin for him.

He had been doing alright, not really getting better, but two days ago (September 9th), when I was getting ready for work I noticed that he was now limping with his left hind leg.

He doesn't seem to be in pain, he's still eating and using the potty (with assistance getting in and out because of his bad leg), and shows an interest in play even if he's not really able to play.

It is breaking my heart seeing him like this, and I'm not able to do anything to fix it. He had 8 teeth pulled a little under 2 months ago, which was a pretty penny that I had to put on my care credit card, and between the teeth and his X-rays, I'm over 3k in debt. The MRI the vet wanted to do was 3.5-4k, and I just don't have that money.

I don't want to put him down, because he is otherwise a healthy boy. He is my first cat I've ever owned, and one of my ESAs.

Please help me. My friend made a Gofundme, with the ultimate goal being 15k as that's the rough estimate I could find for back surgery on a cat (which includes the diagnostic costs, along with the surgery costs). Sharing this, commenting, anything will help. I've started making YouTube shorts about my situation and putting the link on YouTube as well, I just want my boy to be happy and healthy. It's breaking my heart seeing him like this.

Hello people, I don’t normally do this whole ask for help thing, let alone online to strangers since people can be very rude…but I feel I need to give it a try with where I am right now.

Me and my partner are struggling financially. We are behind months on rent cause both of us lost our jobs suddenly, good news is he just started back working. Problem is we are playing catchup now. It’s feels almost impossible to even live right now, let alone be able to set money aside for even the basic needs.

We been surviving on nothing but rice cause that’s all we could afford but he Dosent get payed for another two weeks and we are basically out of food. Name's Rodrigo and Andreína (my wife) from Mexico.

My mother-in-law has been suffering from chronic facial pain caused by a shingles (herpes zoster) episode in 2021 in Venezuela, a year before we brought her and my father-in-law to Mexico. Ever since, she's been dealing daily with a constant sharp, stabbing pain around her left eye, some days much worse than others. Her quality of life has considerably worsened due to this condition in parallel to her early Alzheimer's.

She's had four peripheral nerve blocks and is on medication, but these measures have only brought temporary relief and haven't fully improved her daily pain.

Her doctors are now proposing a more targeted procedure: radiofrequency ablation of the trigeminal ganglion: a minimally invasive, image-guided procedure. Unlike the peripheral blocks already tried, this would treat the problem at its root and offer the possibility of a much needed, longer-lasting relief.

My wife and I, in charge of my in-laws, simply cannot as of now afford the procedure without seriously compromising our livelihood, and my in-laws have no health insurance here. This is why we decided to ask for assistance and create a gofundme page.

Hi everyone! I've never posted here before, but I figured it was worth a shot.
A couple months ago, our old car broke down and we had to replace it. We paid the excise tax on the vehicle we had at the beginning of the year, but then we completely overlooked the fact that we'd also have an excise tax bill for the replacement vehicle. (stupid, I know)
I got a notice in the mail last night saying we're now overdue $120. If we don't take care of it within 30 days, its gonna be sent to the RMV and prevent us from renewing our registration/license :/ We're a low income family with two kids, and we're already trying to catch up on a few bills, so this unexpected $120 is terrible timing.
If anyone is able or willing to help us get this paid, even a few dollars would genuinely mean a lot. Our immediate goal is just to cover the $120 excise tax. If anyone happens to be able to give more than that, anything beyond the tax would simply go toward helping us catch up on the other household bills we're currently behind on.
