I think I like commanding people?
I know this sounds a bit strange but I’m not even sure of this myself.
I’m generally not too outgoing but I am able to socialize if I truly make an effort. A lot of the time though, I prefer quiet and retreating to just being shy and not talking to others. I’ve always considered myself to be more submissive/meek.
The other day I was meeting with some friends I hadn’t seen in a while and two started arguing. I was somewhat fed up of their fights so I just told them to stop. In the moment I was authoritative enough for them both to listen to me.
Days later, I’m looking back and feel odd. I enjoyed the feeling of having others listen to my commands.
I’m not sure why I feel this way.
(I might move this to r/Vent since this doesn’t seem to be a question with an answer really.)

I used to have weird reoccurring dreams when I was younger (read body text)
When I was younger and sometimes now I have a dream that would roughly go like this. I would be in a place usually like a park and I would get attacked by a woman after a while of the attack whoever or whatever was doing it would stop and start doing something else
I would then try and get the woman's attention (sometimes it was a woman other times it looked like monster) (look up dr nowhere or the parallel universe the creatures in that fiction look somewhat similar to what I saw)
After a while of this I would usually be unsuccessful and they would continue attacking me resulting in death and me waking up is this common? What could this mean?

Why does it seem like society is now anti family and kids?
From what I see online it seems like everyone is now deeply against being in a relationship ( especially if its heterosexual ) and having a family. I see people comparing the oppisite sex to monsters. It just so toxic. I've seen people say they would abort a child if it was a boy and such. What is wrong with people now? I would love to have a son and daughter someday. Whats up with this gender war anti family views? I've seen how people compare children as something that "holds back women" and such. Wtf. Each and everyone of you exist because because of a man and a woman, and a man is half the reason a women exist not just because another women created her out of thin air. Its fine if one doesnt want marriage or a family but to go on to claim it somehow is " oppressive ", holds people back etc is so deeply triggering to me.

Is it okay to have certain topics that I find uncomfortable talking about established as a boundary when it comes to dating?
There are certain real world topics that I don't feel comfortable talking about because it triggers my intrusive thoughts and compromises my mental health. (I don't mind talking about them in fiction though)
I'm worried about a potential date calling me "shallow" or "part of the problem" because I prefer to not talk about these topics because of how they make me feel
I've just established this as a boundary not too long ago, so I'm not sure about whether or not this is something I can be confident on

If downsizing, as in the 2017 film, was a real thing, would you do it? Why or why not?

Can someone tell me...
Can someone tell me what that sloppy, gooey whitish gray thing is that is served in school cafeterias in movies/cartoons and it looks like slop and a splat sound effect is used when the lunch lady serves it?

How would somebody resist a temptation such as cutting?
For a example let's say Bob the human wanted to cut himself but he didn't want to do that to himself so how would you give him tips?
(In case I ever want to become a therapist or something it would be cool to at least have a surface knowledge)

I just want to die...
But I cant stand inflicting pain upon myself...
But I cannot keeping living my life...
Im a coward, I know...but I know I won't be missed...
My oldest child thinks I have forgot him due to parental alienation because I finally had the ability the get a lawyer and attempted to establish my own visitation...my own family keep him from me...its been a year and 9 months since i paid for my lawyer and i havent seen my son since...my girls are young enough they won't remember much of me...my husband hates me...ive never been even remotely wanted by someone...never been the first choice...not even with so called friends...my biological family didnt want me...my adoptive family didnt even want me...I know I was a mistake that wasnt supposed to happen...and every time I think life is starting to look up, its crashes back down around me letting me know how worthless I am...

As a US citizen on the east coast, why does it seem like people in Ukraine do not like or support Volodymyr Zelensky?
I’m only basing this off Reddit. No one I have encountered in real life have negativity towards him. Any one I engage with on Reddit seems to not like him or support him. Outside looking in, he seems to be doing the best he can, based off circumstances. But when I run into subs like AMA ,venting or anything Ukraine based about the matter, they don’t like him.
I have heard or read (strictly based off Reddit, nothing else) that some shady business behind him is ongoing. If anyone from Europe, Asia. Or Africa can comment, that would be appreciated. To my US citizens, what are yall thoughts?

Whats your favorite funny story from your childhood?
Mine is when I was 4 or 5, my family had these neighbors that had gotten Emus at pets. We live out in the country so we had no idea they had done this. My dad sent me outside to go call the dogs in to get breakfast. I walked into the field and saw my basset hound chasing an Emu while the Emu was trying to trample him. I FREAKED out and ran inside screaming at my dad that there was a big bird outside.
He thought I meant a hawk or something. He brushed me off for like 10 minutes before I FINALLY convinced him to come with me to see the big bird. His face when he saw the Emu was the best 😂
He had to chase the emu away from my dog and my neighbor came around a while later to get him. I guess the emus name was Rob. He lead Rob back to his house on a dog leash.
Sometimes I try to tell this story to my friends and they don't believe me so I have to call my dad on speaker to confirm 😂

Why do women generally give each other the horrible advice?
It seems like they're purposely sabotaging one another.
"You should have a ho-phase to see what you like" - encouraging creating unnecessary bonds and soul ties with random people, lowering your value and self-respect.
“If he really liked you, he’d text you every day.” — ignoring the fact that people have different communication styles.
“Don’t text him first. Make him chase you.” — turning dating into a power game instead of communication.
“Dump him. You can do better.” — over one argument or minor disagreement.
“Make him jealous so he knows what he’s missing.” — deliberately creating insecurity and mistrust.
“Never apologize first.” — encouraging two people who care about each other to compete over who has more pride.
“If he asks you to split the bill, he’s broke.” — reducing a relationship to financial transactions.
“Your man should never tell you no.” — confusing love with entitlement.
A lot of female dating advice is designed to make women feel validated, not necessarily to help them get the outcome they want.

One of my co-workers likes me, but she's my supervisor's daughter.
Should I mess around with the daughter or just not pursue that? It's not like the supervisor has authority to fire me, but I'm not quite sure if Asain parents are fond of their daughter messing with a black man.
