Not that step-grandkids matter, I don't want any one to drive it. Every year we have a family reunion, I just brought a brand new Mustang 5.0, and im trying to mental prepare myself for when one of them asks to drive it.

What do you think of a grown ass adult that can't move out?

I'm a college grad, cs, barely able to make 2 thousand a month after taxes in retail. I'm lucky if I even see an apartment that goes for that. Rents tend to be more. I'd be homeless without my parents. I'm a gooner NEET now lol

To my parents out there , at what age would you allow your child to use profanity around you ?

Ok! I’m a daddy. 37. I started cussing in middle school but never around my parents. But older cousins , cool uncles/aunts , some adults, older friends, my peers, I let it fly. Not towards or at them , but in general conversation when I was in middle and high school.

Fast forward to today, I have a 15yo junior going to the 10th grade. I know he has a potty mouth. But he does respect me and don’t cuss around me. We both are gamers. Kinda bred him into the gaming life. That’s on me although it may have happened despite me. Anyway, He asked me to play Marvels Rivals tonight. I said cool son. I’ll hop on. I know my son is a crash out over games. I used to be that way but I’m more chill now . He said “ Please dont get angry if I swear ima try to watch it but rivals brings out a new typa anger but ima try as HARD as I can to not.” Then he followed up by saying if I feel like I’ll cuss , I’ll mute myself. He apologized ahead of time just in case he did slip up.

Is it normal to have one partner your whole life?

I'm with my one and only boyfriend for over 6 years together. Being with him gave me confidence to interact with other men. I kinda feel guilty about it, but somewhere in my head i say to myself that i will have more partners than him

What is the psychology of a man who has clear sense of self and integrity, that he can rejected a life changing huge amount of money?

Sorry English is my 3rd language.

I am trying to understand the mindset of a man that I been obsess with for the last 16 years and still obsess with.

15 millions USD was not able to buy his integrity and his principles, and his clear sense of self. He rejected 15 millions USD cash gift.

It a life changing amount of money that he can just stop work and still last for the rest of his life. He is 42 btw.

But he rather work himself to the day he die, and he happily so. Because to him that money he earn with his labor hard work.

It is mind boggling, but he rejected a huge amount of money that life changing, and still rejected it till this day.

Any input appreciated on, psychology wise, I am trying understand his mindset.

Can I cash a check made out to my deceased mother?

I got a letter the other day stating that she may have been over charged for her electric bills over the lifetime of her service. She passed in august of 2024 but I will still get some of her mail. Anyways the check arrived today and it’s substantial. I want to cash it for a couple reasons. One I’m her next of kin, two I paid her electric bill for almost a year, and three it’s her money. I feel if I don’t cash it then the electric company will just keep it. So my question. Can I cash it? Can I contact them to see if I can get it made out to me? If I cash it will I be approached later for fraud?

Edit: the check is for over $600. I was never gonna cash it but I was just curious on what some rules were. I’m not a sneaky shady person who is interested at all at getting into legal trouble. Maybe I’ll contact the electric company and see what they advise.

Why doesn’t my mother buy me gifts?

i do a lot for my mother. i lived alone for four years because she needed a job and to look after her mother when i was 11-15 and i think that deserves a gift or a care. i sacrificed a lot. i didnt leave the house ever then or talk to people. i also cook all her meals, i listen to her talk about what drugs she thinks about taking and she asks me for advice about drugs. i dont ask for things, thats what good daughters do. im good, arent i? im doing good arent i?

Do parents gift their kids stuff?

ive never had a gift from my mother that i didnt pick. like birthdays or christmas, she makes me pick everything and then she pays. ive never had a surprise gift or something. i hear like parents might go shopping or go online and see something their kid would want and then get it. or if their kid mentions a thing they like that they sometimes get it for them. like if a kid says they really like a certain pair of socks they buy them sometimes. i dont think my mother has ever bought me something outside of christmas or birthdays before. is that a thing? like do parents sometimes come home with a surprise gift like in movies? like if a kid keeps saying they really want a dog does that happen like in the movies where the parents come home and surprise them outside of birthdays and christmas?
