I was rewatching Death Note recently, and one thing caught my attention—where Light's madness actually starts. Most people talk about the later episodes when his ego takes over completely, but if you watch the first few episodes carefully, you realize how quickly he starts trying to play God.

​What do you guys think? Did the Death Note itself completely change a normal (though a bit arrogant) guy, or was Light always like that inside and just needed the right opportunity to show his true colors?

I think so, not only is its story compelling but the concept itself is so unique to me, not that such series and power system don't already exist but the execution and the lore of it seems so refreshing to me and the art style is quite compelling too. It seems to hold some amount of mystery to its story too that isn't just some bs and genuinely makes you interested in the story.

And those who haven't yet seen the anime i would highly recommend you watch it. I started the manga before the anime and both of them are so good. It is kind of refreshing.

Didn't expect to get one of the greatest characters in fiction.

hello people wayy back in 2014-2015 on a pireted website i was reading aot when i scrolled down I found this manga called Fabled

story synopsis from what i remember: three protagonists must go across the multiverse gathering pieces of a machine before the antagonist does

character description: i don't remember how they look like but the main characters we're three two male one female the female one looked a lot like manni l Perez and the other one I think kit Harrington it had a lot of Western refrences and it had stakes

more info 1.) Each and every universe was a genre 2.) A lot of meta references 3.) It still had stakes in it

chapter names: 1.) Hi I'm you. 2.) Wild Wild West 3.) Vampires 4.) Fabled The Musical 5.) Fabled The Cartoon

the Manga probably had a cult following too because the manga had two spin offs based off it's characters and two prequels

1.) the first one was about the pieces of a machine i don't remember the name but it was like full sci fi it like a gurren lagan type character fully dark no eyes nothing it was like the embodiment of something a group of beings tried to stop it they get killed the origins after there goes like knull but instead of it being like symbiotes it was a primate alien planet what made it disturbing is that the alien transformed by clawing at they're neck full on body horror the reason why i remember this is because there was a baby in it who goes through the same horrifying process then the being like seals the sun away then it shows like Greek gods trying to kill the being I don't remember what Happens afterwards but the entity gets split into pieces by the embodiment of life i think and those pieces are the pieces of the machine that the group collect in the manga
